Nezeville, you never cease to amaze me. I laughed out loud at the phrase "Ashawo don get corporate profile." It shouldn't be funny in the least, but it's actually pretty realistic. It doesn't matter if we're prepared to have this conversation or not. Statistics and current trends indicate that there is never a happy ending. Young ladies today don't think long-term and will do anything for immediate gratification.
Social media and other online platforms have only made the issue worse.
Our ladies are so susceptible to social and peer pressure. People like Tunde Ednut compliment the physical beauty of women, saying "Africans are blessed." Instead of virtue and moral uprightness, we exalt trash and put crap on a pedestal. It's time to face reality and describe things as they truly are.
All types of perversion have arisen as a result of this new normal, characterized by an ever accelerating moral and religious freefall that we so enjoy.

I don't like to involve myself with social media gossip but Neze your narrations are captivating. It causes one to actually think about the situations. IVD and Bimbo's issue is something that is quite heartbreaking. No one knows the full truth of this issue but it's really disrespectful for him to flaunt the same woman who was disrespectful to his late wife on social media as his new girlfriend

I think that IVD is very insensitive. He should have at least show respect to Bimbo's family or to their children because the children will grow one day and stand up against him. Unfortunately in this very case, the one that has been married 3 times is the loser... Even in situations where divorce is done to pull out of domestic violence, no one wins. Let me comment on IVD and Bimbo:
The “situationship” (not relationship), between IVD and Bimbo was that of narcissism and codependency (“codependency is the disease to please others").
Narcissists don’t love because they simply don’t have the ability to do so. No one can draw out of a man what is not in the side of him.
The narcissists prey on those people that they believe/think they can control. They scrutinize, recruit, tame, and use their vulnerable victims to wash their dirty laundries; and in the process the victims find themselves tied to the “procrustean bed” that the narcissists created for them.
Bimbo was “forced” by IVD to do all she did for him only to realize that his ‘well of satisfaction’ was nothing but a bottomless pit.
When this realization hits a codependent, he/she will either turn on the narcissist to engage in “The War of the Titans” or flee for their dear lives; the psychologists call this “fight or flight” based on the individual’s temperament types. If Bimbo gave IVD a good fight to maintain sanity in the relationship, then she is not the temperament type that would commit suicide but one that would commit murder instead.
In Bimbo’s case, IVD has a LOT of questions to answer for the death of Bimbo. In a civilized society, IVD would have been arrested and charged for first degree murder without parole. By his behavioral patterns and narcissistic tendencies, IVD quietly and in a horrific manner discarded Bimbo the moment he realized that he could no longer control and use her to do his dirty jobs.
You need to read the 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene to understand what played out in that case. That IVD is walking free tells me that we have a very long way to go in the Nigerian Legal System. The Fairest/purest principle of Law is the principle of Justice; it cannot be seen as done; it must be done.
What IVD did to Bimbo is repugnant to natural justice, equity, and good conscience. He must not be allowed to walk free!!!

Life is a journey. Once you complete it and arrive at the last bus stop, then it is time to go back to your creator. Everyone involved in this video has tasks to carry out base on their ‘destiny’. As long as they have not gone through all stages, they will never cease to ‘Shock’ us.
