I remember when I was in high school in the mid 70s, I heard a lot of chatter about attending Chico State bcuz it was THE party college…years later I learned it was voted #1 Party College by Playboy….a reputation it did it’s level best to live up to…until the riots of the late 80s during Pioneer Week brought it all to a screeching halt. So sad.
