well seitokai is heavily linked to one of the japanese humor style that don't come much in animation called "boke-tsukomi" that is a style of humor when one character (the boke) said or do something completely stupid and the other side (tsukomi) say or do something that make the stupid thing said by the boke even more stupid! it's the japanese most close humor to "staight man" humor! for exemple tsuda the main character is the main "tsukomi" (suzu is most of the time the secondary one) and character like shino (prez), aria (secretary), yokoshima sensei ( this teacher)) or tsuda kotomi ( main char little sister) are the main "boke" (Sayaka Dejima (aria maid) is another one of the "boke")! The main strength of the yonkoma manga and anim are that it might be one of the only one adapted in animation in japan!
