My Raptors were mid for 3 years. It was the most pain as a fan I've felt in a while. From 2021-2023 we had zero direction, and our front office tried to contend with a roster that clearly wasn't good enough to contend unless they ran their starters for 38 minutes a game, like Nick Nurse tried to do. At least we're rebuilding now and I have a reason to be excited about the Barnes-Barrett-Quickley core

I think the Heat are in a tough spot cause the last time they had Jimmy in the playoffs they made the finals but he is 35 and probably only has 3 high level szns left so it might make sense to move on before extending him and letting him go to a contender while they retool and hope for internal improvement from the younger guys… then they either trade them for a 2nd star or they just have a ton of depth and compete with that
3 high level seasons is a stretch - I don't think he has that LeBron type longevity of being a star-caliber player at that age. Who knows tho, maybe I'm wrong
Apparently 16 wins over 500 is blow it up worthy. If somehow pelicans could have traded BI for Jarrett Allen they would be title contenders. The only issue that pelicans have now is the center position. If they could trade for walker Kessler or WCJ or even Deandre ayton and keep BI or even lose him. I would have them as a WCF team
Obviously outstanding video. I disagree with the “get rid of butler” thing though. Reason being: pro sports is sickening how finances takes precedent over love. It sickens me. Butler has established a really beautiful bond with the people of Miami. I love it. You can’t put a price on that. It’s bigger than basketball. Miami should keep Jimmy until (if) he wants to go just because it’s the right thing to do. In life, at times, it’s best to forget about money. It’s best to do what’s right and let the chips fall where they may.
