Dude is a boss, glad to have seen him overcome the shortcomings following Jacksonville's 2017 season. I'm sure Jalen had tons doubt in his move to LA and questioned the certainty of a possible winning chance with the Rams. End of the day, the work has paid off, he believed to the end and got rewarded his ring. Jalen Ramsey really is a SB Champion now.

Secondary is such an underrated position, announcers not calling their names mean that they are actually doing a good job covering receivers because QB has nowhere to throw too. One catch by receiver makes receivers look like they are being burnt.

Imo his tackling ability is what puts him above all the rest. Hes relentless and he hits like a missile alot of corners dont like to tackle and not many are good tacklers either. He is

If Aaron Donald didn’t get back their so fast jalen was on the ground beat by chase for a td! Yes that was a pi by Higgins. However. Jalen was not even in real position to make a play. If you’re the best corner in the league you need to make plays not let your d line carry you!

People dont realize he played exclusively in the " star " role for the first 10 games or so . Which in that role hes playing lb , hes playing in the slot , hes playing out wide , hes blitzing. But to me our defense turned around in the secondary once morris finally let him start covering the other teams top targets more.

Only gave up 60 yards against Chase. Locked him down considering what other DBs tried to cover him. I think these new DBs r the future tho, Ramsey, Lattimore and Tre White are all insane but nobody can cover Chase like some of these rookies (Pat Surtain and Greg Newsome had Chase in clamps, Chase had 1 reception for 3 yards in the Broncos game), so honestly Ramsey did really well

I hope hes allowed to actually play out wide more next year. He was exclusively in the star for the first 10 or 11 games and all qbs did was pick on William's and long everg week. Once morris finally started playing him on the top wrs more our secondary got alot better. Hes an elite press corner that thrives on covering receivers. I get hes versatile enough to play inside and essentially at lb but let him do what hes elite at

As a bears fan, I can put aside my bias and say Jaire is already an elite corner. Besides Ramsey, I honestly can't think of many corners who are on Alexander's level

@@kzglo9403 yeah Higgins it was face mask and chase bog catch landed on their 10 yd line which led to a field goal. A score is a score. He’s good but the competition for corner wasn’t like the early 2000s and early 2010s.
Champ Bailey, Charles Woodson, Derrel Revis, Namdi asomough, Richard Sherman, Patrick Peterson, ty law, Antonio Cromartie, Charles Tillman. Ramsey is better than a few of these dudes I’m just saying he’s the best cuz he’s competition ain’t as crazy as before. @@gr6gh i feel you on that. i have a hard time comparing today’s defenders to that era because you just can’t play like that anymore with all the helmets to helmet/defenseless receivers calls. but damn that era made me fall in love with football when any one running a route across the middle of the field would just get lit up by safeties and corners and wide outs would having boxing matches to make a play on the ball

What put Ramsey over the top of all other corners is his willingness to go hit somebody. Most corners shy away from contact. But Jalen flys like a shot out of a cannon to go put a body on someone. He’s very physical. He’s not necessarily considered to be the best at a pacific category but he is great at everything. Very well balanced corner.

3:38 the way he flips his hips and is able to undercut Brown's route while getting attacked on his blind spot is amazing in it's own.
What makes him great is his strength, you don't see CB's that big and strong who move that well.

Got burnt by Ja'Marr in the SB but played so well the whole season. Made some huge plays for some huge Ws.

@@Lakeshow11 I think a few more than 1 play. The 75 yard TD I won't count because of the facemask. But there were a couple plays where Ja'Marr was open and Ramsey was behind or had fallen. Did his job against every other receiver though.
Chase just made an unbelievable catch, pretty luck one handed catch. Ramsey didn’t get cooked.

He WAS the jags then went to the rams and elevated them (with von too) and got a ring.
I can’t stand him but I’m a good way, as a wr I hate him but as a db I love him. he’s just so good at everything. he’s the most complete player in the league regardless of position. he’s got the heights ball skills, the tackling, aggressiveness, he reads and understands the plays, and he’s shown up in big moments.

As a rams fan, great season as usual. But damn he got cooked in the super bowl. But that's football and im not gonna defend the facts that were seen in the game.
Look I will admit he didn't play his best game, but you wanna know what the nice thing about winning the SB is. The Bengals fans can boast all they want, they still lost despite his performance in the game (which was still a lights out performance by Corner standards).

He’s a beast. The only think I do t like about him is how he doesn’t celebrate with his team. And if something goes wrong it’s the teams fault. Idk to me that’s kind of off putting to me. His teammates have to literally tackle him after a good play.

Nah Charles Woodson is the true definition of DB he can play all 3 secondary positions, presure the QB and hit like a LB. Ramsey is just a shutdown corner, be is similar to Revis but Revis in his prime is way better
