Stunning work. I literally can't believe what I'm hearing. 1000% production values here. MJ & maybe Teddy Riley (?) would be proud. Sounds like his style but the BLM lyrics and harmonies are so catchy, this will be with me for the foreseeable weeks and months as an ear-worm. Until the unfortunate rap bit (which was the style at the time) I'm sure any accredited evaluationers (not a real word) would certify this as 100% legit. Spread the word everyone.

Can't tell if this is a rant, or a anti-police statement.
Regardless the message of the song just doesn't fit. Imo Michael would advocate for more then just "running away".
I'd expect more of a "Unite together and say enough is enough and make that change" rather then just running away.
Also how do we stop this injustice? MIchael probably would have sang about a viable solution, rather then just repeat "Run away, etc.."

Nobody should die with a knee to their throat, but it doesn't justify looting. Now protests, marches, yes, but how these protests and marches end up are unfortunately a insult to both any civil rights community and even MLK.
It's tragic to say, but there are many, many bad actors who hide themselves under the black community to commit crime which further slanders the good intentions of good people and ends up tainting the entire cause.
In order for change to happen we have to drop all the cute clubs and gangs related to "civil rights" and organize a actual community of real, good intending people.
