- Hello everyone!!! Merry Christmas!! I hope you are all enjoying the festive season : )
I always listen to this song at Christmas!! Therefore I wanted to make a cover of it to celebrate~ I was going to do it last year, but I never got round to it, so I'm happy to be able to have done it this year!!
This song is genuinely one of my favourite vocaloid songs, I'm very into vocarock [as you can probably tell, lol] so i just love it hehe! speaking of which, I may have finished an original!!! I was super excited to upload it before the new year but unfortunately we made a mistake while mastering that i only realised when i got home, so im gonna have to go back in the new year and fix it eheh oopsss.... oh well, itll come out fine in the end! p.s, speaking of originals, im kinda in a metal band now [were just starting out!!] im doing vocals and production, and im going to definitely make some vocametal and vocarock songs with them so!! im looking forward to the new year!!

I prefer Miku, I like how Rishie-P tunes her but it doesn't fit well in this song and her voice sounds weirdly shaky where it shouldn't be in this song. The other covers are really good though.

This was awesome tuning to be on one of my favorite songs. The vocals had quite the emotion in them, and those high notes were sweet to hear. It sounds like a more adult version of Miku, and that's great. I can't wait to hear another original song of yours. Also, I wish you the best of luck with the Metal band that you're in. You tuned Miku so uniquely she doesn’t even really sound like Miku anymore like what the hecc O_o? Genuinely didn’t think this was Miku at first but now I can kinda hear the resemblance but still this is mega impressive, outstanding job!

I love that GRR umph to her "kedo" which sounds like kay-DOH with an emphasis on doh. I love it!
Every time I listen to this version, I can't help but compare it to other versions sung by Miku - not in terms of quality, but in terms of feeling.
Where in most other renditions she sounds younger, more naive and hopeful, in this version it sounds to me like Miku's...tired, cynical and frustrated at her situation. She growls when she regards the magic mirror, as if she feels bitter. Her voice cracks as she pleads for her Prince Charming to rescue her, hinting at desperation. Towards the end, she forgoes following the melody she's sung probably dozens - no, _hundreds_ of times in favour of higher notes, only serving to highlight how much effort it's taking her to keep going.
This almost feels like a version of Miku at her wits end, having been promised a fairytale-like salvation that will never arrive, crying out for a make-believe hero as a final Hail Mary, and cursed with the knowledge that no matter how long she waits, *no one* will save her. As much as she tries to deny it, she knows that, for better or worse, *she is all alone.*
I LOVE it.
