Such mix of joy and regret and nostalgia could be seen on Bruce's face. Little did we know at that point what amazing music he was going to put out in the time to come. But man, so good to have you back in the Maiden machine.
The fucking good old days when MTV was MUSIC television and nothing else -- world wide, I might add. MTV was like this everytime you turned it on back then.
This puts a smile on my face. - Along with 'Live After Death', I "grew up" with 'Raising Hell' on DVD as a fan, so it's really special to me, and cool to see a fun little tour from a different angle for once. - They did a great job capturing that show, don't get me wrong, but shows like that still leave me curious for more. - Like I would love to see more high-res photos of the 'Live After Death' or 'Rock In Rio' show and whatever, because the SD-quality videos don't do it justice. - Of course, it would kind of ruin the magic a bit (like "Flight 666" is very "4th wall breaking"), but I don't know, I'm a creative, so I want to see. XD
I remember watching Raising Hell when it was originally broadcasted. I'd only gotten into Maiden the year before (1992), thanks to listening to the Friday Rock show with Tommy Vance on radio 1.
I just have to say this girl is cute. And she seems genuinely into the music, on Mtv no less. How fucking bizarre by today's standards, and how sad that it's bizarre.
This is Iron Maiden funeral as we know it in their Golden era! After this, Maiden never become the same great band that they were till than! Even with the return of Bruce and Adrian they never achieved the same greatness again! As a Metallica song says, Sad But True!
The X Factor was really good i thought. if you ask me it is much better than NO Prayer For the dying. im not saying the singing is better, i like the music better.
Agree X Factor sticks out with better written songs and a better album vision overall than No Prayer. However, I think Blaze was great on this. Better than he was on Virtual XI.
@pdhudson0311 fear of the dark wasnt bad but it did have the most filler of any maiden album in my opinon. but now that i have powerslave, i cant see myself listening to fear of the dark anymore
@pdhudson0311 no prayer for the dying was actually a very good album the title track , public enema number 1 , holy smoke, and sort of bring your daughter to the slaughter are quite good songs fear of the dark was very good with afraid to shoot strangers be quick or be dead and fear of the dark so they nt that bad...blaze sucked tho..except for sign of the cross
"No Prayer" actually has a bunch of great songs on it. "Fear" has fewer great songs on it and I think it's actually probably the worst album they have, despite the iconic title track. - I think both 'X Factor' and especially 'Virtual XI' were a good step up from those two. Despite Blaze in that case, who was fine on the albums but horrible live.
That beautiful hair of Bruce 😍😍😍

Little did he knew that he would be back in Maiden 6 years later...
Bruce looked great with long hair.. as my mother would tell you(Loves Bruce) Lol aha
what a cool and gentle artist.

Just noticed Bruce is wearing that same hoodie in the final frontier promo shot haha, awesome
Bruce’s hair was so pretty in ‘93, after he got rid of that fringe.
Back when the interviewers dressed like humans istead of being clothed with designer stuff like today.

@Samson 92 I agree with you. The X Factor was the worst Maiden album ever made! It sounded like a totally different band. And not in a good way.
@pdhudson0311 fear of the dark wasnt bad but it did have the most filler of any maiden album in my opinon. but now that i have powerslave, i cant see myself listening to fear of the dark anymore
Wow I would’ve felt insulted Bruce bringing the solo band to his last show lol
why did bruce leave maiden???
Solo career
@Samson 92 I've been waiting ten years for this
I have waited 13 years for this moment@@fncardoso

@@michaelangeloh.5383 Nailed it.
In 90s this guy and Halford decided to go on their own, but both are very wrong... Because they belong to the bands where they achieve the success.
@Samson 92 I agree. The X Factor was the worst Maiden album ever! And Blaze sucked as their singer! His voice didn't fit with Maiden.
