You're telling us that you have a machine that can heat emboss an image of Toaster onto some coasters, but you're not doing it!? You have to know we want some Toaster coasters!
I’d buy a Toaster mouse pad. That cat is just laid back cool. I love how he demands to be in the shot and Weston is never mean or short with him. Clearly, one happy cat
Sorry to be offtopic but does any of you know of a method to log back into an Instagram account? I somehow lost my account password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me!
I never realized so much went into this. I always thought it was just a small shop with hand tools. I’m really impressed with how clean and organized this place is. It lets me know that we can trust the quality of the products. Awesome shop.
Your family must be very proud of you, Weston. You're a successful businessman who is receptive to new ideas, is flexible but steady, and produces high quality goods. You're an inspiration and someone people can look up to, especially young entrepreneurs. I look forward to your continued success and growth. This video was such a treat. Thank you for sharing your world with us.
It kinda made me sad the few times you mentioned about something not interesting your viewers amigo. Anyone and everyone rocking with you, your channel, or the products you guys produce is definitely interested in ALL of it mang. Every single bit of it
You have a great set up man! I find it ALL really interesting and helpful! My set up isn't anywhere near this mostly because I'm just doing it on my own, but I hope to get there one day. We definitely have a lot of the same interests and hobbies. My shop is mostly leather work and motorcycle parts from a few bikes. Plus boat parts.. Thanks for the shop tour and thanks for the inspiration!
I found this so interesting and you’ve honestly educated me so much on leather and what makes a good shoe. You have quickly turned into one of my favorite creators over the past few months since I found your channel when the common projects was recommended to me. Thank you and keep up all the amazing work you’re doing!!
Rose Anvil: here's our store front me: oh cool there's desert mountains in the background maybe they're in Colorado or something Rose Anvil: we're here in Logan, Utah me, a Northern Utahn: whAT
"my names Weston, and I'm a dude.... but I appreciate it." hahaha the ultimate chill guy with mad skills and an obscene knowledge of leather. thanks for the tour, Weston, very cool.
Awesome video! Thanks for the update and tour. I never knew anything about leather before your videos, but I’m so much more careful now when buying leather products. I always just assumed if you payed good money for something it was quality leather but now I totally can tell the difference because of your videos! Keep up the awesome videos man. You’re one of the only channels I watch every video from. Hope you and your family are doing well through the pandemic. Thank you again for the great content, it’s rare to find clean videos on interesting things. Aloha from Hawaii!
Yo Wes, I work with a stimpson grommet machine similar to yours but much bigger. I work with mattress and box spring components. Thanks for showcasing your rivet machine, very cool.
I feel like I can really connect with you through these videos (i promise that's not meant to sound weird) compared to other creators who put on a mask and act totally different than who they really are, you feel like a genuine person just talking to his fans and I love it
I have a challenge for you: Can you design a quickly adjustable guitar strap? All the leather straps I've found have to be taken off the guitar to adjust length.
@@SirenaSpades it's useful when you have multiple guitars. Different guitars have different mounting points and different guitar shapes. Therefore an adjustable strap would be great.
Wow, Toast had kind of a sordid history. In the cat-trafficking business, he refused to perform for his slave masters. Wanting no part of the trade. You can see it in his eyes.
I watch your RUclips posts all the time, I'm also a boot guy I wear boots everyday my work Home Remodeling, property rehabbing, residential improvements, and everything else the customer might need. As soon as I get done with this comment I'm going to head over to your site to check out what kind of leather products you have. But the reason I'm commenting is why don't you make boots? As many as you have taken apart, I'm sure you know how it is done, and you probably make some very good boot wear. I would certainly buy some from you think about it Anvil boots! It already sounds good. Thanks for what you do and your honest opinion on boots because there's a lot of people out there that don't know. Thanks again.
Toaster! I love that name! He looks like the sweetest, mellowest cat on the planet. Maybe you can design leather products for cats and tie Toaster in with it? Schöne Grüsse aus Chicago.
OMG.. super interesting ... WOWOWOWO .. by the way... Toaster is super... i love his hair style.. really love .. tried to find out a cat like him in italy... i hope i will
Love your videos. Awesome shop tour. Beautiful story where the name came from and I'm glad you ended up with Toast. Keep up the great work. This has become my new favorite channel.
I haven’t really done leather work before, I mean I’ve seen it done and kinda thought about it but never actually done it but I low key wanna work there now lol
Just received the Clayton wallet I bought for Father's day. The quality is amazing. I love smell of leather. It very nice. I received lot of compliments, many thinking it cost around $500. Keep up the great job and making quality leather products. Lots of compliments on the coasters and key chain..
Yes it's interesting!!!!! If people are watching your channel, then more than likely they found this interesting! What you do is really cool!! And all the stuff y'all get to play with is very interesting ! Don't feel like the people watching you wount find your interests intriguing. We do!!
Thank you for sharing with us! Great seeing your shop and getting some history. Toaster is cool. I would love if you could make me a guitar strap, custom of course! I've been playing for 55 years.🎸🐈☀️
Love your cat "Toaster"...! I have had many cats and really have enjoyed them...! Love them... And your cat Toaster is a beauty Wes...! GG Valparaiso, IN
I think you should revisit Jordan 1s and cut open a Jordan 1 High. You compared the Shattered Backboards to Jordan 1 Mids. Lows and Mids are known to have incredibly poor leather quality (or straight up fake leather). Jordan 1 Highs tend use better leather material than the Lows and Mids. Also, coming this winter is Jordan brand's version of the white sneaker! MJ wore them in his Last Dance Documentary. I would love to see those get cut in half. They are called the Air Jordan Centre Court. BTW, your shop looks great! I ride a Triumph myself.
We've already found out that "lows/miss have poor quality leather" is a myth. They're not using anything but bottom of the barrel leather for any of their shoes, and they're not putting better leather on their high tops.
Even better than I'd imagine, nice work shop and the equipment matches the high quality work! And you just seem to be a great boss to work for, thanks for the tour, enjoy more future success
Thanks for the tour. I don't think I have missed watching any of your videos after stumbling upon your channel. I have learned a lot, keep up the good work!
this is like the third video of yours I've watched accidentally (I might be drinking), anyway, I just subscribed... and also liked... it saddens me to feed the google algorithm in such ways, but it knows me sooo well!
I have been enjoying your videos since your first Dr Martens video. I just recently received one of your Claude wallets for fathers day. I have to say hands down best wallet I have ever had. It’s so well made and compact. Thank you for your hard work on the videos and your leather goods.
Excellent video that makes what you do more real. I noticed that many of your machines are similar to those used in old style metal fabrication workshops. I was almost waiting to see a fly-press! Quick question that wasn't asked - do you have any hobbies or interests outside of your work? Thanks for posting.. :)
Always intriguing looking into the production line. Thanks for sharing with us and great to learn how you got to where you are today, congrats on the success so far. Extra thanks for the feature of your ROSE ANVIL chukka boots, looking goooooooood! Hope you enjoy them
Really enjoyed the tour and Q&A. It was a deviation from the norm, but thoroughly enjoyable as I've been super curious about your business and what all goes on there. So great video! Good luck with the upcoming move, and definitely do another shop tour and Q&A once you get settled.
Thanks for the tour and back story. Great to get to know more about you and your journey. I've been a fan since the 1st video. I'm a retail/fashion veteran and shoe/boot lover so to get to see inside and confirm what I know as well as learn more. Keep doing great work, sharing, and follow the inspiration. Peace & balance
Hope you hit that goal and you can up some expensive stuff. Love your channel. But what about cutting up some other hype shoes like the Ben and Jerry’s Nike Sb colab shoes?
I haven't done much leather working at all, and am the very opposite of a handyman, so I will probably not do things with my hands as you do. But I still loved the look into your machines and learning about leatherworking. I am also really looking forward to the video you talked about on shell cordovan...
Dude awesome video, I started watching this channel for a few days (started by watching you cut shoes in half) but then I saw you talk about genuine leather and that intrigued me because I have a genuine leather wallet that I spent 60 dollars on and always thought it was such a cool wallet. Then when you started talking about it, it made sense and I soon think I’m going to have to buy one of your wallets. Keep up the good work
Thank you! I greatly appreciated this video. Super interesting, loved hearing about the business, and I TOTALLY want a Shell Cordovan wallet someday. Thanks for answering my Toaster questions :)
Good stuff. Cool to see people channeling their interests/creativity into something productive. I’ve always been overwhelmed/crippled a bit by having too many creative interests. Oh and put the dang DuPont sign back to broken. If you want to do another expensive boot brand do Viberg. Awesome boots but I’ve always wanted to see if you’re actually getting close to what you’re paying for.
Buy some cool leather goods from the Rose Anvil shop right here - bit.ly/44jXLNu

I would buy so many Toaster coasters if he made them!!
I’d buy a Toaster mouse pad. That cat is just laid back cool. I love how he demands to be in the shot and Weston is never mean or short with him. Clearly, one happy cat
Not to mention Toaster Coaster just sounds correct and marketable
🤣🤣🤣🔥

OMG! That cat holding the arm as it got pet!!! Heart melted.
Straightened the DuPont sign, I see. Peer pressure is real 😂
Toaster is a rebel just like I thought. Loving the vids.

We love this shit. It's like watching Adam savage in his shop. It's always nice to see ppl share their passions! ☺️
I find all of it interesting, don't worry
Once I heard “leather mouse pad” I purchased one immediately! 😍🙌🏾
I understand. My grandparents are a HUGE influence on me.
toaster deserves all the jewelry and luxurious leather in the world
So cool to see a behind the scenes perspective on the shop and the channel, Ms. Rose 🤪
Yay! Finally! You should design a new wallet called "Miss Rose" as an homage to the nickname
The story behind the name was so sweet 😻🌹, also Toaster's back story... (...who knew he had it tough 😢)
It kinda made me sad the few times you mentioned about something not interesting your viewers amigo. Anyone and everyone rocking with you, your channel, or the products you guys produce is definitely interested in ALL of it mang. Every single bit of it
I always feel that😒👍🏽🤣

If and when you start making Shell Cordovan wallets, I will absolutely buy one.
SAME!
Me too!
the thought of a rose anvil shoe makes me so happy, even if it's a far fetched idea currently
Yes, please do another tour/q&a when you settle in to the new shop!

Can you do a video about you. Stuff like how old are you, what did you study. Would be cool ❤️
I’m also interested in this. I’d like to interview you. I’m fascinated by entrepreneurs of this age. Bravery fueled by passion.
This video fed my need for this quite well. My other comment was before the Q&A.
I don't remember which video, but I think there already was one that answered these questions a while back.
No pressure for Toaster to perform. LOL, He performs for the camera everytime!
"my names Weston, and I'm a dude.... but I appreciate it." hahaha the ultimate chill guy with mad skills and an obscene knowledge of leather. thanks for the tour, Weston, very cool.

I have a challenge for you: Can you design a quickly adjustable guitar strap? All the leather straps I've found have to be taken off the guitar to adjust length.
A belt buckle strap adjustment would work I bet, I'd make one if I was more confident in my leatherwork
This is definitely a good idea. I needed one of those when I was playing guitar. :)
Why would you need this? I never change height so once my guitar strap is set, I've never needed to adjust it ever.
@@SirenaSpades it's useful when you have multiple guitars. Different guitars have different mounting points and different guitar shapes. Therefore an adjustable strap would be great.

Hi. Lovely story about your grandparents and the origins of your name..... My grandparents were farmers too.

Love your videos. Awesome shop tour. Beautiful story where the name came from and I'm glad you ended up with Toast. Keep up the great work. This has become my new favorite channel.
Thanks for this tour. It's always interesting to see the inner workings of a business.
You seem like one of those people that would make a great friend. I think I'll go order something now. Cheers.
Fascinating leather working equipment! A lost art, recaptured. Also, the Rose Anvil naming story is very interesting.
I haven’t really done leather work before, I mean I’ve seen it done and kinda thought about it but never actually done it but I low key wanna work there now lol
Got a nice buzz and really enjoyed the shop tour. Never knew how overbuilt those PF Flyers were that I used to wear.
Great show!
That Cherokee out the window @ 11:41 -- very nice. Give it some custom leather upholstery!
Your videos are ASMR. You are a relaxed person. Love it
I enjoy this channel it’s low key and mellow. Love the work boot videos
Just received the Clayton wallet I bought for Father's day. The quality is amazing. I love smell of leather. It very nice. I received lot of compliments, many thinking it cost around $500. Keep up the great job and making quality leather products.

I enjoy your videos! I was sucked in one day when you were wearing a Triumph t shirt. I’m also a Triumph fan. I’ve had 7 going back to 1962.

You should get into the gun holster business , could be a profitable business.
I just love to listen him talk … no idea why !!!

I spent a few weeks in Logan for work. Beautiful 360 views in the winter.

I never knew that I wanted to learn about working with leather until your channel came along! Very intersting, and informative video!
