Being a steam enthusiast I naturally love them all but I have to confess to a special fondness for his old gal, she's just lovely.
It chuffs really nice and has a pleasant whistle. Neat to hear what my Great Grandfather may have experienced as a child.

I wonder is it's the original boiler.
It's not, she's been rebuilt a few times. At one point she was a saddle tank.

No boiler tickets in Sweden from the looks of it.
Yes. she is older BUT there isn't any recent footage [6 years ago] of her moving.. so.. yeah. Museum piece, while FR 20 is touring around.
One is much more active than the other.
@@englishtwister The thing is, The Swedish Railway Museum has been closed for years for renovation and rebuilding so they haven't been able to run it

She was built in 1863 so she will be 159 year old on 21st August (according to her webpage).

What does "in ticket" mean in this context?
A steam engine with a valid boiler certificate
@@paleopotato736 Thanks for the reply! Are there different types of certifications here? That is to say, one certification which would allow the boiler to be fired in the yard vs. another which would allow for transport of passengers.
@@rockets4kids Thank you. Not really, if a loco has a boiler ticket she can run but to run on the main line would require a main line ticket but that would involve higher standards on the whole loco.
