    I mean this comment in the BEEEEST WAY. The part where you nicked her with the file is my FAVOURITE PART. And It's because of how you handled it so effortlessly and calmly. I get anxiety, and I once nicked a customer with a similar sized cut. She got quite pissy at me actually, even though I apologised profusely and felt completely awful. As soon as she left, I let frustration take over and cried (in retrospect I must laugh...). Of course I realise afterwards that I was overreacting. And this is where people like KIRSTY are so AWESOME, because of how mentally prepared you are for any situation, big or small, and even though you didn't intend to, you just gave me a really good lesson in "ah well, shit happens, lets move on".. I really look up to Kirsty because of how she always seems to handle everything in such a chill way.

      I got one nail technitian drill a hole in my skin (not like in the video, where it's like nothing, it took ages to heal) and the fuckhead even had a nerve to blame ME for it, said I flinched. YES I FLINCHED CAUSE YOU JUST DRILLED A HOLE IN MY FINGER!! Needless to say, I never went back. It never happened again with any other nail tech, so I know it wasn't my fault.

      I had one cut me on 7 different fingers and didn't even apologize or acknowledge he did it. I never went back but passed by about a month later and his shop was closed. Thinking back I dont even think he was certified I saw no certificates or anything

      @calichef1962 6 лет назад +3

      Yes, I agree! Kirsty has a LOVELY voice, and near perfect pitch, seemingly without even trying! If she ever decides she doesn't want to do nails for a living, even though that would deprive the world of a true master, she could easily sing for a living! I would pay to see her in concert! I don't know how much concert tickets go for in the UK, but here in the US they go for around $50 to $100, even MORE for the really big names like Beyonce or Bruce Springsteen! Most music festival tickets go for about $150 _per day!_

    Awesome 😁
    I wish we could put pictures on here
    I bought the acrygel and it arrived yesterday so I did my nails with it today and I have naturally long nails so I just put the base on and then the gel straight onto my own nails, but I did have 2 broken nails and I didnt even think oh ill use the pops ill just put tips on cos thats what im used to doing and my nails look awesome 😀😀
    I absolutely love the acrygel I bought
    3 its clear dear
    2 baby blush
    2 just a wisp
    2 happy go rosy
    Plus 12 new gel polishes
    And 4 new cuticle oils
    I now have 90 give or take a few colors of gel polishe (im not done yet lol)
    Next on my list are the new brushes more acrygel hopefully ill be able to get the 60gm ones cos they were all sold out hence the reason I bought 2 of the colors.
    And Kirsty I really really want one of those things you use when your doing designs on the false nails, ive looked on the naio nails site but I dont think they are on there or I am just blind and can't see it.
    Love you guys keep the amazing videos coming 😘
    P.S Kirsty its been a long time since I've seen both your hands with the same design on the nails, I hope it was filmed ☺

    You could SO put subtitles in Brazilian Portuguese too! I always watch the videos trying to understand what you are doing or saying 😓 is very difficult for me.

    • @NaioNailsOfficial
      @NaioNailsOfficial  6 лет назад +3

      We're sorry but currently we don't have anyone who could do the translations in Brazilian Portuguese 😪 If you know someone who can do it, please:
      1.Go to the video that you want to contribute closed captions to.
      2.In the player, select the gear icon .
      3.From the drop-down menu, select Subtitles/CC , then Add subtitles or CC.
      4.Select the video's language.
      5.Play the video. When you get to the part where you want to add a caption, type your caption into the box.
      6.Repeat this process for all the audio in the video, then click Submit for review.
      7.You'll be asked if the captions are complete or if there's still more to be done. This helps us figure out if other contributors need to pick up where you left off. Choose No - Let others keep working on them or Yes - They're ready to be reviewed.
      8.Click Submit.
      Thanks! 😘

      How to remove our AcryGels:
      File 80% off of the product.Soak a lint free pad in Pure Acetone, place on top on nail and use Soak Off Finger Clips to attach it to the nail.Leave to soak for 10-15 minutes. Remove clips and use an Orange Wood Stick or cuticle pusher to gently remove the AcryGel from the nail.

    Just wanted to give y'all a tip I get contact dermatitis extremely bad on my hands but I have found that is soon as I get done top coating my nails I immediately wash my hands with the gold bar Dial soap and I actually do that a few times a day. I'm really sensitive to lotions and hair products but it helps to wash my hands immediately after I put lotion on my body or put hair products in my hair. It helps tremendously I have 90% less breakouts of the dermatitis.

    Last week I had the worst nail experience of alll, all time! She had a new nail file, which she wanted to try out. Well,my nails/skinn were covered with scratches, until bleeding. I said something about it, to which she replied back, that it is my fault because I have a thin skin. She kept filing over the wounds. But what could I do? leaving with an ugly set of nails, half finished!? So she kept going...
    I asked her to file the sharp edges of the file. She doesn't give a shit, about my bleeding fingers. Yeah, it hurt.

    • @ella_cinder4361

      I would have walked out and not paid. Professional techs should know better. Not only does it hurt but that file is contaminated. I sincerely hope you have since found a new nail tech. And be sure to tell as many people as possible about this experience. It has nothing to do with whether or not you have thin skin. There's no excuse. 😬😡

    Love that color, Snug as a Bug! So pretty. Thank you for sharing this one with us. If only I could find someone in my area that would at least try for a c-curve with a tip, because I haven't found anyone who uses forms. Now, I have shared your videos with my nail tech in hopes that she might decide to give it a go 😉 LOVE you and your work! Bucket list: have nails done by Kirsty! 💚💚💚💅🖌🎀🏆

    How do you remove this product?

    • @danamarie874
      @danamarie874 6 лет назад +2

      I soak my fingers in pure acetone for about 15 mins and just scrape off the excess. Don't forget to clean the nail afterwards, you don't want this stuff in your cuticles.

      I use electric file to remove them

      File 80% off of the product.Soak a lint free pad in Pure Acetone, place on top on nail and use Soak Off Finger Clips to attach it to the nail.Leave to soak for 10-15 minutes. Remove clips and use an Orange Wood Stick or cuticle pusher to gently remove the AcryGel from the nail.

    Which brush are you using. Love that it's big. Alot of the "poly gel " brushes are so small. But I don't want nessicarry a brush as big as an acrylic brush. Also.. snug as a bug.... Cute name!

    Kirsty do you feel that the acrygel is sufficiently strong to replace acrylic or gel?

    • @NaioNailsOfficial
      @NaioNailsOfficial  6 лет назад +2

      Yes, but I still love Acrylic, It's amazing for beginners, best of both worlds.

    As a beginner hoping to have a go at this method soon, would you recommend doing the one blob method? I'm concerned about not giving enough structure/apex?

    • @NaioNailsOfficial
      @NaioNailsOfficial  5 лет назад +1

      For the beginner we would recommend you to start from few smaller beads xx

    Do you use the pinching tool Acragel, like with Acrylic? If yes, when in the process?

    • @NaioNailsOfficial
      @NaioNailsOfficial  5 лет назад

      You can pinch the nail when is still warm after curing it in the lamp :)

    What I’d like to know is what can be done for clubbed fingers. My nails curve down. I know you can’t change how it forms but is it possible to start from a nub of a nail and build it up straight out? My apex is very highly too. Like a mountain. But I would love to be able to do nails that look normal.
