Put herbalisim and mining on your main. Pick every flower and mine every ore. Save all your epic/blue/green gear that you don't want in your bank. When your bank is full, or you need some gold, drop mining and pick up enchanting. DE your bank full of stuff. Then drop enchanting, learn mining and buy the mining book from the trainer. Easy consistent gold from the gathering profs and you can still DE stuff, just in bunches.
@@swiftkills1437 445's on my server are going for 500k gold and it's pretty ridiculous if you find a boe in EP, it's basically sell it or you're dumb; there's always bop's that will drop
I came into this expansion with 2Million gold. I spent it to get an alt up to speed on gear thinking I could just as easily make it back how it was in legion... boy was I wrong . Been sitting around 50k for a month now feels bad.
I came into the expansion with 6.5 million gold. I bought the 5 million gold mount. I'll be kicking the crap out of myself for all of eternity for that purchase. I'm sitting on 1.1 million gold that I'm afraid to spend.. And I'm not making any gold, just basically breaking even every day. I'm hoping they make some changes to make the daily grind profitable. Doesn't have to be as crazy as Legion, but being able to turn a buck and feel like there's a little bit of progress financially and afford a token every month would be nice.
I came into this expansion with 150k on my main and now I have almost 200k. Almost. I've always been poor as fuck, but this xpac has made me stinger than ever. I don't buy anything over 100g in cost unless it's absolutely essential.
Some tips to add. 1. Blacksmiths can make stirrups that let you herb and mine while mounted they work WITH the barding. They are a little pricey, but are worthwhile if you are saving for a sky golem. Druids can also go stag form and mount in it, and can eventually even pick herbs when they get bird form. If you are a blacksmith or leather worker the stirrups or barding (depending which you are) last 8 hrs 2. You can actually relearn your professions for 800 gold. So if you will a few bags of epic gear in your bank, you unlearn a profession and replace it with enchanting. Disenchant all the saved gear and then pay 800g to replace your old profession. Crystal's are going for 1-2k a piece atm so one epic will make up for your 800g loss.
I\'m not sure but ,if anyone else needs to find out about wow gold guide try Skyarza Amazing Wow Star (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my friend got cool success with it.
i hope they make anchor weed a little more common im still salty at the fact that i had to run in circles around tiragarde (for like 4-6 hours) to get enough anchor weed to level my profession because nothing but flasks award me any alchemy points i was broke so no buying this out of the auction house the best part was that the anchor weed itself was worth more than all of the flasks i crafted
The raw mats selling for more then the flasks/pots is common. if you have rank 3 anchor you get 5-7 per node, and after you herb for a while you can get good at making your odds better. Anecdotally they used to be more rare. 1/2-3hrs now its like 1/10-20mins
Yurika they spawn more, but the active competition has been increased way more. Its harder to get your hands on anchor weed because just so many people are farming the same tiragarde/nazmir route every single hour of the day
Try doing the route for sirens pollen in drustvar. Near the end of the route, there is a big area for winter's kiss, and the anchor weed spawns a lot. I get around 12 per run(I have it level 3 anchor weed gathering)
Anchor weed goes for 150g per unit. Flasks are 1k at minimum, 5x150 for anchor weed as mats, I been getting quite the profit from it. But that is just my server I guess.
I've learned the hard way that you should NEVER raid blind. read the strat guide. it takes 5 minutes, and then you know exactly what to do, and you don't get called names because you keep getting the raid wiped.
Tarren Mill prices for alchemy have dropped a ton. Learned my gold making lesson this expansion. Next expansion Ima do nothing but herb from start to finish. Ima be a rich lil goblin.
Issue being that we've had multiple times we would've killed a boss but people didn't use pots. So now we bench people for not bringing them. We tried supplying them and just getting donations from members, but you can't make up for 600k a raid day from donations.
another tip you should have pointed out @ 9:25 or so is "pick a tank class to herb farm with and spec to tank" because tanks don't get dazed when hit by mobs, many use druids because of travel form, this also saves you money you would otherwise use for the leather barding stuff you just brought up.
You left out the mindless BoE/mount farms. I've tried enchanting/deing/herbalism, and none of them have come even close to the /afk farm. If your RNG is good and you pick up a BoE or a mount through the grind, you'll push the amount of overall gold obtained like crazy. I've dumped maybe a total of 15 hours into this farm and walked out with 2 mil gold. It's boring, tedious, and got nerfed a bit, but it's still the superior cash cow.
High mountain druid tank is the best, since you have faster mining baseline, fast move outdoors, no daze, some good movement skills, and travel form so you don't have to ever unmount
Islands and warfronts.. Two things I overindulged in by doing waaay too much.. Now both just make me want to hurl just thinking about it. And the island thing, it's so random because you never know if you're going to get 2 other decent players that make you win it easy, or two morons that run around in circles making me want to choke out somebody.
the 85g for the missions at the table is an insult. you almost spend 1/2 the war resources for gold, and the WQs are even worse. I make more gold per quest doing legion WQs. still can make about 20g per quest from follower, and depending on the quest sell some legion epic for like 60g or flat out
"It maxes out at item level 'who cares'." So true. Since the beginning of the game I have wished for Blizz to give real crafting to armor crafters instead of "You can make stuff for your alts, but it's super expensive and they will outlevel it anyway."
@bepper66 That has not been my experience. Yes there can be a profit margin, but the sell rate is just too low. You'd make more gold by farming mats. Which is just absurd.
@@LoveLearnShareGrow When it comes to gold/time farming is never viable. I make 10-100k per day with Enchanting, Inscription and Tailoring with less than 15 minutes of work. And my server salerates and prices are even below average. If you have like a douzend hours every day, yeah then farming may be better. Even then I do think that crafting stuff out of those raw materials and selling them is the best thing to do tho.
Not sure what you mean beginning of the game.. in Bc crafted gear was important, and again in wod..admittedly not like it should be, but in WoD some of the crafted pieces were BiS...if you got the right random stats
I have found out gems can be very good way of making gold fast Krakens eye mainly. Mostly because of raiders need those epic gems. For lvling the 5% xp gem sells also.
Excellent guide. I don't even know why I bothered looking anywhere else. Just, FYI the prices for herbs have tanked pretty hard since this video came out. My best tip for making gold in BFA is to just run the older raids. Once you've done a raid in 10 man normal and heroic you can then do it in 25 man versions and get a ton of transmog stuff. Just auction anything that is BOE that looks interesting and disenchant the rest. Headgear, chest pieces and weapons do best. I'm on a very low pop server and most of my transmog BOE sell pretty often at 10k each. Hypnotic dust is iffy but stacks of 200 are always gonna sell. As for what raids to do I'm personally a huge fan of Ice Crown Citadel and the Firelands. Both drop some pretty cool looking BOE gear for transmog and Firelands is super easy. You can just run through everything and one-shot it with an AOE skill. :)
For herb/ore farming, don't forget about the blacksmithing items! Monel-hardened Hoofplates give you 20% extra movement speed. Monel-hardened Stirrups allows you to interact while mounted, removing the need for those robot mounts (I prefer my Broom or Chopper). Myself, being a blacksmith, gets an 8 hour buff from these, being a tank keeps me from being dazed, and being a night elf allows me to shadowmeld as necessary.
Also 2 x 4 farms found in custom groups have been great for getting cloth, BoE's, and mounts that sell very well on the AH (great way to meet likeminded farmers as well). Fishing on my server has been demotivating because goblins bought massive amounts of aromatic fish oil when it was sold by the vendor. My only regret is not stacking up the oil myself so I'm not too upset about it.
I wasn't "in the loop" about the fish oil either and had been buying just enough for the feasts I need. When I ran out, I went to the vendor to get more and was really confused by its absence. I really wish I had known it wouldn't stay there or I would've filled up my bank with them.
One thing that people always forget every time a new expansion drops is that selling certain old-content things still works great. It's how I've made my gold all expansion.
Thank you Hazel, I didn't use the Salmon to teleport to a pool yet, and thank you for saving me from wasting one in that way.. Great video, thumbs up. You really have this mastered Hazel, I was picking herbs wow vanilla style, call me crazy yes. That would be why I don't get the same load that someone riding a shredder and picking like a blueberry farm could do.. This is truly impressive.
Funnily enough, having not played for 2 xpacs this is the most gold I've ever had. Once I get that 30,000 mount (which everyone seems to have now), most costs seem to be reforging and transmogs.
I wish they would put back follower equipment. I liked how in Legion you could get up to 150g just by completing a world quest, if you had a good follower assigned, with the right items.
great channel Hazel, I find all your information useful. Thumbs up and keep it the great work. Great editing talent like Paul Rioux stated, with the sad banker man and slow zoom with other effects. :D
The funny thing is I originally found your content when I was trying to set up my blue yet I for my streams and then I realized you made a lot of actually useful guides for wow and I saw you on a rep grind now this.. great content you have my sub :)
On the other hand the token prices have halved so there are positive reactions to offset it. Anyway no one actually enjoyed logging in to armies of alts just to send off on missions. When people say they 'enjoy' it, what they mean is they like being able to get the gold, which is not the same.
being able to do this allowed you more time to do things you actually enjoyed doing. I dont think most people enjoy having to farm for gold (even a mediocre amount), and would like a decent passive income. I know plenty of folks that can only play a few hrs a day a few times a week. The only way they are making it thus far is falling back on their legion gold.
There's more to it as well. Because of the vicious cycle, I felt compelled to do the missions myself-- all of that free gold injected into the economy screwed over everything. 350k for the token remember? That's why people who say 'well you don't have to' are talking out their arses. You don't HAVE to, but because the way things are set up, you really should if you don't want to be hindered.
On the crafting side of things, as an alchemist, Anchor Weed on my server sells for around 350-400gold each. But the Flasks that require 10 Anchor Weed each, sell for around 800-900gold. I'd always recommend just, selling the Anchor Weed, is this instance. :D
Early on i was making 5k per crafted claw weapon using lw. They still sell for a bit. If you are using a crafted profession i highly suggest looking up prices for those low blues you can make. Then again im on zuluhed and our AH is terrible.
made easy 6 mill at start of BFA doing hyper mob mount/boe farming Blizz nerfed most mobs Hook point & 1 Leather farming spot are the only 2 i know still are worth doing
I find Blood is the best spec for making gold with the #1 method. You're a tank spec, so you can't get dazed or dismounted and don't need to spend money on the Leatherworking consumable. Also being a tank, you take less damage when riding on through scooping herbs and lastly, water walking on the golem is VERY powerful. Most players need to either choose between harvesting herbs without dismounting with the golem or riding on the water with the waterstrider. DKs do both.
A note for herbing: switch to tank spec (if you have one) to avoid getting dazed, that way you don't have to buy barding or worry about buff duration falling off.
It's only once per week, but for some decent raw gold gain I'm running Blackrock Foundry. It's around 2.4k gold per run and you can run it on each of the 4 difficulties for a total of near 10k (LFR NPC should be in your Garrison). You can do Highmaul and HFC as well, the gold per boss seems pretty similar across the 3, but BRF has more bosses than Highmaul and you have to spend the time doing the HFC gate boss if you go that route.
Massive hit is an understatement. I studied what I made in Legion and compared it to BfA, and just like all other Blizzard nerfs, they didn't just adjust it, they obliterated it. The made repairs much more expensive, doubled the cost of seals, made it so if you want a key crafting component, you have to shred all your soulbound gear drops... My end game income is 98.9% less than Legion. Average. Some days if I do just the daily emissary, I'll actually experience a more than 100% nerf, I'll LOSE gold. They've pretty much reverted back to pre-WOD gold generation, but at much higher than Legion upkeep costs. If it weren't for the fact I'm in a guild that pays my repair bills, I'd be averaging around a 103% gold nerf from Legion. They always overdo it. horrendously. I can't spend 7 days a week waking up and playing WoW until I pass out 18 hours later anymore either due to health reasons. Sure the Legion gold generation was crazy, but they could have reduced it, not obliterated it. Once you hit exalted with everything there is literally no reason to log on to that toon anymore. No reward = no desire... They took what I liked the most about Legion and removed all the motivation from it. Hopefully they'll start to remedy that a bit as a the expansion goes on. I mean, it'd be nice to be able to at least be able to afford a token every month instead of one every 3 months.
How? Do you have ANY professions? Use them! Before i didn't renew my subscription a week ago i would login in the morning check the auctions house for cheap materials, craft some ilevel 300 stuff on my blacksmith and put it up for auction. Takes like 5 minutes and this alone was enough to pay for my wow tokens easily.
No, I don't. I have engineering on a few toons so I can basically put flying on my cloaks to get around easier. I'm on a lower population server where the only things that sell for decent prices are things like mounts or things that require farming hydrocores in Mythic dungeons and crushing massive amounts of gear for expulsom. I have much more limited play time now, so I tend to stick with what I enjoy-- doing quests and exploring what I can that doesn't involve waiting in queues. Besides I've always loathed dealing with the AH. That's why I liked Legion so much, I was able to play the game and be rewarded for time invested in questing and I could walk, exercise, and do other healthy things outside of the game while checking in every few hours for the mission boards. But maybe it's just me, and I should move on from WoW, and MMOs. Since I can't play 12 hours a day anymore, I have to limit my activities in the game to maximize enjoyment, and it's apparent that the game has moved on to de-incentivizing the very part of the game I enjoyed so much in Legion.
PCFanatic i think you are confusing deflation of gold for lack of profits. Profits are very much there its just things give less gold in comparison to legion as the 5 mil mount has deflated the gold in circulation. You can still make good profits just need to know how. I makde 100k last week by selling just herbs on AH. 200-300k by flipping BOEs. Enchants and feasts are all selling for 1k profits (after crafting cost) on my server Doomhammer if you have level 3 in the recepies.
Yeah I get it. They almost completely removed the gold away from any of the enjoyable activities in the game. We're back to the Unpaid Work Simulator mode of "gaming". One of the big issues is that they nerfed the hell out of gold from playing the game-type activities, but still increased the cost flight paths, seals, and repair costs like they increased income. So it's not just a question of making gold, it's a question of them actually making the entire game a gold sink so you're FORCED to play the AH even if you just want to break even. It's not a question of "giving less gold" like I said that's a vast understatement. My play style went from generating a lot of gold to, in reality, generating LESS THAN ZERO gold. Since I have health issues that essentially force me to limit my play time or risk blood clots, they've essentially put a timer on how long I'll be able to play before I go broke. I don't enjoy doing all that playing the AH crap, and I don't get enough play time to do anything I don't enjoy in the game. I've been dealing with this health issue since half way through Legion, I really enjoyed that I could still get decent gold while adjusting to a much more limited play schedule. BfA's endgame is Legion's, but with all of that removed. And they could have reduced it 85% and it would have still been fine for me. Instead they just killed it completely.
There is no mythic ToT, only normal and heroic. And it takes you far to long. It is more like 30min run. But you are correct about gold. Plus extra pet drops can sell. This applies to lot of older raids. Also, you can run LFR version, so double money per week.
mate , just run some old raids / firelands(full trash clear ), throne of thunder , brf. more gold than u get from doing these bfa wq / missions at least .also , no wipes on trash on lfr .
2 million plus since BFAs launch. I kinda wish I leveled a bit faster so I could have capitalized on the new xpac prices a bit more. I can't stress to people enough, that's the time for big gains! Raid patches are ok, but nothing compares to that first couple weeks! Tip! Put in the time early xpac, then never worry about gold making for the rest of the expansion!
I was doing good with herbalism the first couple months.... Seems like prices have really tanked. Now mining is where it's at on my server... Aside from anchorweed, always excited to see those
Idk if this market is only good in my realm but I make like 50k-70k every day just posting old world enchants. They are almost cheap to craft and the profit is even better than bfa enchants, plus no competitors :)
The funny thing about all of this is that the amount of time you would spend farming in wow you could just take 1-2 hours extra on any typical labor job and "make" 10 times the amount per hour if you then use that money to go and buy from a 3d party gold site. That's kinda sad. For about 25 Euro you get around 250k gold.
I can’t afford bfa, so I’m just gonna farm gold until I get 50 dollars of wow tokens to buy it. So now I just have to spend 7 eternities farming gold. Foolproof
Any tips for people who only got WoD? I just got back into WoW and I want to complete the quest for the Sealed Tome that gives Warlocks green fire. But the cheapest I've seen it op AH was 16k, and I have never owned more than 8k at once. My server is a lot less populated than it used to be and my guild is dead, so I can't get people to farm the tome and stuff barely sells on the AH.
Interesting tips. Will use DE on my main alts when bags fills up. Sounds solid. Especially since I see Scrapping as a tedious bag filler. Constructive criticism: Talk at least 20-30% slower and take longer pauses between sentences. While listening I felt like you were rushing but for no obvious reason. So, as an example, I had to relisten to the end about herbs x times to make sure I got all the nuggets. /Grayz
You can add tailoring, cause when u have it mobs drops more cloth. They still cost good amount of gold x200 stacks, than you can join custom groups and search 2x4 farming spots. U will get lucky with boe items, greens to sell or DE + mount = more gold
If you happen to be a tailor and focus mainly on pvp scrapping random dread aspirant gear for expolsum and buying embroidered cloth cheap to make 32 slot bags has worked for me
Then play the rest of the game? Why would you even bother leveling and rep/gear grinding on an MMO if you're not interested in ANY of the endgame content?
I don't raid right now because I burned out HARD under Lich King and need some time off still, but I still find plenty to do with archeology, fishing, grinding up all the pets and mounts I don't have, grinding xmog gear I want (like Tier 2 paladin!), the almost monthly holidays/special events, chasing special achievements, etc. There's so much to do, I'll never catch up even without taking out time for the headache of raid gear grind. :)
Sounds to me like you just don't like the game anymore. That's fine, but move on and stop being toxic. I've played since '08 and love all the things you just derided. And I really don't miss leveling being half the game. Uldir might only have 8 bosses, but it's an entry raid (like most expacs have had) and it's very well done imo. And the dungeons are cool too. My biggest complaint anout BfA is being fixed with the Azerite vendor.
Why do you need another raid already? I actually hated the way you were never "finished" for a minute back in the day. Like you couldn't breathe or take a weekend off or play on an alt without falling terribly behind. Who has time for that as an adult? I guess that's why everyone's entitled to their own opinions though. I vastly prefer the game now over then, although Legion and Mists were my favorites. Once they fix Azerite I think this expansion will be looked upon a lot more positively. But seriously, there's no "forced equality of outcome." Just like always, raiders (and now high-key dungeon runners) have better shit than everyone else. If I'm 372 ilvl, what do I care that an LFR guy can get 340 gear? Good for him, I hope he has fun..maybe I'll join him to farm some runes every now and then. If you're not having fun, quit. Vote with your dollar, but leave the rest of us to have fun without trying to be toxic to the community you claim to miss. TLDR: Toxicity is way more of a problem than any flawed game system...and those numbers were deleted b/c they were false.
Crafting pvp gear is actually pretty decent, at least for leatherworking. The materials cost less than a gold total not counting the expulson per craft, and they usually sell on my sever for 2.5-3k a piece. Went from a couple hundred gold on an alt to 20k after scrapping my quest gear for expulson and blowing some marks of honor on cheapening up the recipes.
Just farm mounts in old raids, dungeons and vendor the loot. You get a couple hundred gold from each boss and 30-70 flat gold. Also going for crafting materials for mounts are also cool. Nobody else farms it and they worth a suprising amount. I sold spirit of Harmony for 150g each.
@hazel, Tank spec will negate needing the baring. Tanks don't get dazed, so those OP druid herbers should be rolling as an Elk (or cheetah) in Guardian Spec. Any tank spec will accomplish this though.
My main is a lvl 116 Pally. Should I drop smithing to get herbalism? Ming and smithing are my profs right now. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.
If you don't mind dropping a profession, sure. Blacksmithing is the least profitable profession. Only thing to craft are few items people use to boost item level for fresh alts and things for warfront contribution. But, to make herbalism useful you need to invest time farming herbs. I find that extremely boring. I still keep my blacksmithing on my main, part for that reason and part nostalgia.
LFR is the wors way of making gold, why would you suggest that shit? You will probably wipe a lot, hence you have to repair which is probably more than the gold that you get. Like, i have never seen zul being oneshot in LFR.. nor ghuun.. maybe not even mythrax. Mother might wipe idiots. So LFR is a nono for gold from my part lol. Only if you are going in with a guild group then it's worth it.
I play healer. And queing for LFR Ghuun does not worth the gold you are getting out of it. And if you say otherwise you were either lucky or ignorant. :D because it's always a clusterfuck.
Do you still do pet battle videos? Just wondering I know it's really not worth it to level pets in bfa but I really prefer your voice to some of the others out there. Your just so energetic and spunky. XD
Hi, I should have a question about BfA professions. I want to make a second character with mining. What would you recommend as a second profession for Gold making? Blacksmithing, Jewelcrafting or Engineering? Thank you for your answer
Herbalism......if you absolutely feel you must take a crafting profession then take Jewel for gems. Eng can be fun but has nothing to do with gold this xpac lol.
Blackrock foundry, 2000g a run, you can run it 4 times a week, lfr through the seer in your garrison, then normal, heroic, and epic. And since this is just for selling the boss loot, you don't need to bother with anything else unless they need to die to start the boss. Same goes for Highmaul and Hellfire. You'll spend an hour doing each all 4 times. all three, one character, 24k gold about.
Herbs potions and ore will always sell well, shame blizzard has let professions stay lame and suck since Cata. A harder guide for you Hazel will be how to make BIFA actually fun :) An with any luck Blizzard would see that video and start doing it :).
It is almost as if Blizzard tanked gold making professions and other methods in order to sell more Wow Tokens for cash but Nooo they would never do that, would they ? I mean some say they even tanked the speed of leveling in order to sell more boosts for cash but again Nooo! I am sure Activision/Blizzard would never ever do that to a loyal player base.
The easiest way to make money, tada, buy out some Wow tokens hehe, unless you're totally broken. The squirrel on your shirt, the color of your hair is top notch, no kitty cat I feel a bit cringy though Hello from France.
I'm kicking myself right now for not stashing more of those Hippogryph Hatchlings. I still somehow ended up with two of them and managed to sell it for a pretty large sum.
the way i make gold is in goldshire, but i wouldn't recommend it

phulcrum or just send your stuff to your demon hunter that you lvl ed in a day for disenchanting
Doesn't work for BOP items but yeah, covers all the rest.
I'm curious about dropping and relearning professions, do you get all the ranks you previously had when you use the book?
Yep
I have been using most of these trying to make gold, and I've made a net loss of 68k gold.

Good video for people new to trying to earn gold.
Nothing fancy, nothing complicated, nothing cheesy. Just reliable, simple, straight forward methods.
That was the point

No gold and yet the cost of everything is going up :(
Yeah inflation is getting bad
@@swiftkills1437 445's on my server are going for 500k gold and it's pretty ridiculous

I came into this expansion with 2Million gold. I spent it to get an alt up to speed on gear thinking I could just as easily make it back how it was in legion... boy was I wrong . Been sitting around 50k for a month now feels bad.
Same, bruh. Same. Spent my 2 mil on a bunch of boe mounts and the rest on wow tokens and we broke AF at the moment.
Came into the expension with 1k and now I am up to 1 Million in profits. Don't know what y'all are doing...
I came into this expansion with 150k on my main and now I have almost 200k. Almost. I've always been poor as fuck, but this xpac has made me stinger than ever. I don't buy anything over 100g in cost unless it's absolutely essential.
bepper66 You must be a genius, stop bragging and tell us how you did it and we will be the judge of that...seriously dude!
If you are a blacksmith or leather worker the stirrups or barding (depending which you are) last 8 hrs
Haha nice intro with the sad guy (banker?) and the color fading away.
I\'m not sure but ,if anyone else needs to find out about wow gold guide try Skyarza Amazing Wow Star (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my friend got cool success with it.
i hope they make anchor weed a little more common
im still salty at the fact that i had to run in circles around tiragarde (for like 4-6 hours) to get enough anchor weed to level my profession because nothing but flasks award me any alchemy points
i was broke so no buying this out of the auction house
the best part was that the anchor weed itself was worth more than all of the flasks i crafted
150g per Anchor weed? thats super cheap tbh.
on my server they are 400g and on bad (for me) days 280g.
may i ask on what server you play?
About LFR you must add repair cost since people here dont use brain when they enter raid ;)
Zul trash ftw
Almost all my toons have invested in a blacksmith building in their garrison, and they keep the anvil buff on at all times.
@@darthgorbag Im always forgetting to get this buff :/
It's still a relatively new expansion, you can't expect everyone to just know everything.
There is no business like herb business lol
Nice, so if I do all these I can pay for a raid night.
nice joke. what do you need for raid night? 2k gold and 3 flasks?
with 50k input, 5 minutes of AH flipping gives you enough gold for a raid.
It's honestly pretty crazy right now. Like at least 30-40k worth of pots for our three hour raid.
So either you have to pay the things for your whole raid, or you should not drink a potion, when you didnt bring the boss lower then 30% before.
Kevan Gibbs what farms do you recommend?
Too vague - specifics please?
"Why is your Skygolem moldy?" lolz :D
Doing old content raids is my go to nowadays to make good money, and sometimes you drop a mount
tip:instead of barding, just be tank spec and you won't get knocked off when gathering
High mountain druid tank is the best, since you have faster mining baseline, fast move outdoors, no daze, some good movement skills, and travel form so you don't have to ever unmount
Night elf for alliance, since shadowmeld let's you deaggro
My gold making method is actually running islands. The boes and pets sell very well and go for a decent amount of gold. Raiding is expensive
that must be boring
meh, its not bad and helps with getting my neck higher. I try and get a neck lvl a week.
Lol... nice troll... "boe's and pets"... yeah, like those ever drop.
@@wolfshanze5980 I've made over 100k with pretty little effort after selling 3 pets and 4 boes. It works for me
the 85g for the missions at the table is an insult. you almost spend 1/2 the war resources for gold, and the WQs are even worse. I make more gold per quest doing legion WQs. still can make about 20g per quest from follower, and depending on the quest sell some legion epic for like 60g or flat out
Remember before the nerf, we were making 150g per world quest with the follower if you had the correct follower equipment?! Man I miss that so much!
"It maxes out at item level 'who cares'." So true. Since the beginning of the game I have wished for Blizz to give real crafting to armor crafters instead of "You can make stuff for your alts, but it's super expensive and they will outlevel it anyway."
*For the alts of super rich folks who pay waaaay too much gold for i300 stuff and allow me to make a shitload of money.
@bepper66 Wow, ok, well I'm glad it's working for you.
Depends on the server. On Sargeras many of the gems sell for more than the cut versions. 5% Exp gems are selling for less than 3 gold each.
I just started playing this game idk how to do anything
Same
Press the button that says A then you will become a pro. Secret hack
I have just accepted that I'm gonna be poor.
Same bro
LFR could be a bad idea since wipes could make your repair bills higher than the gold rewards.
LFR is fine if you just farm the easy wings.
That's a good point. And as the gear gets better hopefully there will be less wipes.
I crafted 25+ x Platinum Whetstone from the 300+ x Expolsum I had stocked from Uldir Mythics. Sold for approx 10.000g each :)
Yeah, i don't have any expensive mounts, either. I spend what little gold I get on repairs (tank = hit all the time) and, well, pets. :p
I wish they would put back follower equipment. I liked how in Legion you could get up to 150g just by completing a world quest, if you had a good follower assigned, with the right items.
Is old raid farming still a thing? Or is it better for you to sell herbs and disenchant stuff?
great channel Hazel, I find all your information useful. Thumbs up and keep it the great work. Great editing talent like Paul Rioux stated, with the sad banker man and slow zoom with other effects. :D
Gear professions are fine for selling transmog. You won’t sell a whole lot all the time but when you do, it’s a very good return on investment!
The funny thing is I originally found your content when I was trying to set up my blue yet I for my streams and then I realized you made a lot of actually useful guides for wow and I saw you on a rep grind now this.. great content you have my sub :)
“And then you’re just .... heck’d” = best quote of 2019
idk what game you play, but my LFR groups are harder than heroic >.>
Thanks for taking the time and doing this video boo!
Thanks again for another informative video. I'm just returning after leaving legion mid nighthold and your videos are making it a lot easier.
Way to go, Hazel.. Thanks for the advice ;) Greetings from Denmark.
They only wanted easy gold with zero efford
There's more to it as well.
Because of the vicious cycle, I felt compelled to do the missions myself-- all of that free gold injected into the economy screwed over everything. 350k for the token remember?
That's why people who say 'well you don't have to' are talking out their arses. You don't HAVE to, but because the way things are set up, you really should if you don't want to be hindered.
Use the app instead of logging in.
You never went back to making the guide for tsm 4. Are you ever going to finish them?
On the crafting side of things, as an alchemist, Anchor Weed on my server sells for around 350-400gold each. But the Flasks that require 10 Anchor Weed each, sell for around 800-900gold. I'd always recommend just, selling the Anchor Weed, is this instance. :D
Early on i was making 5k per crafted claw weapon using lw. They still sell for a bit. If you are using a crafted profession i highly suggest looking up prices for those low blues you can make. Then again im on zuluhed and our AH is terrible.
Love your pet guides! And this! Thank you!
As a tank one of the better way of earning money is the bonus bag for tanking in random HCs. And it's up pretty much all the time.
made easy 6 mill at start of BFA doing hyper mob mount/boe farming Blizz nerfed most mobs Hook point & 1 Leather farming spot are the only 2 i know still are worth doing
thank you for the helpful guide!
You don't need Coarse Leather Barding if you can swap to tank spec. You never get dazed (dismounted) in tank spec.
So the only way to get those BOEs though is via raiding?
You can also get 2500-3000 gold for a full clear of 25 man mythic throne of thunder. Takes between 60-90 minutes for me on average.
There is no mythic ToT, only normal and heroic. And it takes you far to long. It is more like 30min run. But you are correct about gold. Plus extra pet drops can sell. This applies to lot of older raids. Also, you can run LFR version, so double money per week.
Being new to wow and running out of gold due to repairs I thank you for your guide :)
mate , just run some old raids / firelands(full trash clear ), throne of thunder , brf. more gold than u get from doing these bfa wq / missions at least .also , no wipes on trash on lfr .
Try herbing in Nazmir for siren's pollen and riverbud. The river in Tiragarde is popular and too heavily picked.
Foolproof
By far the best video for gold making I saw.
Did you try any gold addons?
Any tips for people who only got WoD? I just got back into WoW and I want to complete the quest for the Sealed Tome that gives Warlocks green fire. But the cheapest I've seen it op AH was 16k, and I have never owned more than 8k at once. My server is a lot less populated than it used to be and my guild is dead, so I can't get people to farm the tome and stuff barely sells on the AH.
Interesting tips. Will use DE on my main alts when bags fills up. Sounds solid. Especially since I see Scrapping as a tedious bag filler.
Constructive criticism:
Talk at least 20-30% slower and take longer pauses between sentences. While listening I felt like you were rushing but for no obvious reason. So, as an example, I had to relisten to the end about herbs x times to make sure I got all the nuggets.
/Grayz
Do you raid in Mythic mode as well?
I've started vendoring gear because I can't give the disenchant mats away.
I was so happy to have my Green "sky golem". Not once did anyone ever take time to point out that it was a different color... ;_;
Thanks for the video! Makes me reconsider into getting herbalism!
Also, do you mind sharing your shopping string(s)?
You can add tailoring, cause when u have it mobs drops more cloth. They still cost good amount of gold x200 stacks, than you can join custom groups and search 2x4 farming spots. U will get lucky with boe items, greens to sell or DE + mount = more gold
If you happen to be a tailor and focus mainly on pvp scrapping random dread aspirant gear for expolsum and buying embroidered cloth cheap to make 32 slot bags has worked for me
I'm not a raider or dungeon player, and after hitting exhalted with all BFA factions and 350+ ilvl I'm starting to get bored =)
So you've been burned out of 10 years... sensible much?
You can also still do cata raids... a heroic one with decent drops will net 1k to 1.5k gold for like 5-10 minutes work. Beats doing LFR for sure.
Great video Hazel! I wish they would add some cool fishing achievements like we had in Legion.
Just farm mounts in old raids, dungeons and vendor the loot. You get a couple hundred gold from each boss and 30-70 flat gold. Also going for crafting materials for mounts are also cool. Nobody else farms it and they worth a suprising amount. I sold spirit of Harmony for 150g each.
hazel what is the addons you use like the one saying this in not learned and where a item is from on the mouse over window?
You play dps don't you... Tanks and healers get alot more than we do for queueing randoms
XD
Which UI Addon are you using?
Hi, I should have a question about BfA professions. I want to make a second character with mining. What would you recommend as a second profession for Gold making? Blacksmithing, Jewelcrafting or Engineering?
Thank you for your answer
Herbalism......if you absolutely feel you must take a crafting profession then take Jewel for gems. Eng can be fun but has nothing to do with gold this xpac lol.
Can confirm, fishing is a steady 8-9k per hour if you're fishing for the opposite faction's fish.
your eyeshadow looks amazing, pink looks so good on you!
what are your settings because your game looks so good
Your eyeshadow is so pretty Hazel! what pallet(es) do you use? :O
hey just subbed! good info ty
To be fair, the most lucrative gold missions didn't come along until we went to Argus.
Love your videos! Keep up the good work
Blackrock foundry, 2000g a run, you can run it 4 times a week, lfr through the seer in your garrison, then normal, heroic, and epic. And since this is just for selling the boss loot, you don't need to bother with anything else unless they need to die to start the boss. Same goes for Highmaul and Hellfire. You'll spend an hour doing each all 4 times. all three, one character, 24k gold about.
Last time I was this early I was really poor
Oh wait...
... I'm still poor ;-;
Hi World Quest
Wait what? There's a toy collecting reward mount?!
I use LFR to check if the boss is bigger than me :)
Herbs potions and ore will always sell well, shame blizzard has let professions stay lame and suck since Cata. A harder guide for you Hazel will be how to make BIFA actually fun :) An with any luck Blizzard would see that video and start doing it :).
You could have condensed 7 and 4 into the same category as you covered enchanting in number 7...?
Great overall guide
It is almost as if Blizzard tanked gold making professions and other methods in order to sell more Wow Tokens for cash but Nooo they would never do that, would they ? I mean some say they even tanked the speed of leveling in order to sell more boosts for cash but again Nooo! I am sure Activision/Blizzard would never ever do that to a loyal player base.
The easiest way to make money, tada, buy out some Wow tokens hehe, unless you're totally broken.
The squirrel on your shirt, the color of your hair is top notch, no kitty cat I feel a bit cringy though
Hello from France.
I'm kicking myself right now for not stashing more of those Hippogryph Hatchlings. I still somehow ended up with two of them and managed to sell it for a pretty large sum.
