Another great review. I'll buy the NewAge dinobot since I've already bought the other dinobots from them. So far I have bought the EX version, G2, shattered glass, and transparent. They all look so good
Thanks for comparing the dinos to the other bots, that brings so much desired sense (who'se going to display them with cars?)! They look pretty well, massive as they should be. Pity about the tolerances on legs and neck :(
im waiting on mine, but I'm hoping its better than the NA version which doesn't pose well without a display holder... just falls over every time. I think if you did decide to get more Dinobots you would be able to sell them, opened or sealed, easily in three or four years they are so popular.
collecting both from ms and newage. the newage is better built and better paints but the ms does a good job with the toon however the ms is also more loose and feels cheaper. still like both but my choice is newage
Same here. I got both the MS Grimlock and Sludge recently, and the transformation along with the loose legs are disappointing to me. I'll stick with NA at this point since I already have Grimlock, Sludge and Swoop. The transformation is fun and they display very well.

Yep most do display along with others in bot mode

Seems that the plastic isn't of high quality...and,yeah, I'd rather display this in Dinobot-mode
It is the same they always use but looks great in both modes
The way you struggled with transformation on camera killed me. I'll keep my MS boxed up and continue collecting the NA version.
Magic Square does have so many small steps with these
Let's be honest, New Age is winning this Dinobot war. The size, transformation, and build quality all go in their favor over MS 💯.
True and so odd they are bigger when most other NA is smaller
I doubt it. New Age dinobot's legs are ugly and look like incomplete. Magic Square just need a repaint version.
Magic square needs to improve their plastic quality. Get rid of the puzzle tabbing system they use. Improve their build quality and add paint.
I do think they need paint and when they do paint it looks great
