Once again a ray of light for my eyes which fail me. My hearing has always heard music, and this is wonderful music to listen to. When I don't use these eyes I see the notes moving on manuscript paper as I know it would be. Having the "paper" shown with the notes as they are played helps quiet this mind. Thank you. wolf
Not only unusual: it is absolutely bad (imho) They should stay on Uhrovska Collection. I immediately hate their album's title: "Telemann: the baroque gypsy."
I find the authentic instruments to be better than modern ones. I also, as you know, cannot stand music too slow, which is the issue most modern instrument ensembles suffer from.
Le second mouvement est trop rapide, complètement survolté ! Et cette erreur choque d'autant plus que l'on connait bien l'oeuvre. Le second mouvement dans les sonates et concertos baroques est quasiment toujours un Allegro, sans plus. Le Presto, c'est pour la fin. Dommage !
Nice. But it's in 415 Hz. I have to buy another recorder just to play with these YT videos... I have only 440Hz recorders, because all of our ensembles have a variety of modern instruments. In our church, the pipe organ is also tuned to 440Hz. And YT transposer plugin makes the sound awful...

Very great interpretation! Especially in the last movement you can hear the fire under the musicians fingers.
