There’s some sounds that some people just can’t stand. I promise you there’s a keyboard out there that she would rather throw it out the window then continue to type on.
Want to know an easier way? Grab an XL mousepad, like a decent one, so you can have your keyboard on top of it. It eliminates desk vibrations. If you don't have money for one, grab a towel, fold it under your keyboard, and you're done

@@mazarinee it’s not mushy at all, it’s just muting the sound profile and there is apparently some science behind it and it’s called the tempest tape mod

No bro, I’m sorry, but I’m not redoing that. I only put one layer tape and it took so long to take all the keys off. Put all the keys back on in order to unscrew all the screws but the tape screw them back in put the little plastic because of it then so it actually click and it just takes too long. You don't have to remove switches, just take out the back case and add the tape
Lmao true tho
Thanks cuz my kb cant hot swap

he remowed the switched bec he placed more thocky switches

Can you do this with the onikuma G52?
Why are people so committed to their keyboard sounds good.
Because we’re coders and that’s all we listen to everyday? Plus it’s just fun and interesting how keyboards work.
btw do you dont have to remove the switches if you dont need too.
You would need to de-solder the switches if the keyboard does not have a hot swap pcb. If it does you can just pull them out.
U don't have to remove the switches, I don't

I have a membrane keyboard 💀💀💀
If your keyboard unscrews from the back, it’s much easier to do it that way instead
tip: you don't need to take out the plate or switches just unscrew the pcb with everything on it

if only it was that easy to remove the switches
does this have any effect on louder switches? or does it only work on the quieter ones
