Crazy how people expect greatness from a person that was out 2 years. When you stop doing something and pick it up again, there's going to be a learning curve and struggles, yet he still manged to get 1000 yards on the season which is impressive.

Calvin Ridley's numbers as a #1 WR were similar Christian Kirks numbers as the #1 WR the season prior. Never felt anything special with Ridley, TLaw regressed with him too.
Ridley was not the reason for the regression. The played better than Marvin Jones or Zay Jones did last season. Big reason was the lack of variety in the play calling and the terrible run game. I always had the feeling that TLaw feels the pressure that he needs to make a massive play and then just threw an uncatchable ball to ridley for an int.
Ya they had several misses were not on the same page. Ridley never seemed to come back and help his quarterback out.

I think most of us jags fans are more annoyed with the fact that he signed with the titans but it’s cool cause I doubt he has 1,000 yrd season with Levis cause he barely could do it with Trevor out of 17 dam games 😂with all the dam drops and miscommunication plays he had, he is very fortunate to break that grand at the end of last season. The Vikings are rumored to be shopping Justin Jefferson. I'd give the #17 pick and our first rounder next year to get the best WR in the NFL. If we can't trade for Jefferson or Higgins, I do whatever I need to do to draft Harrison Jr., Odunze, Nabers or BTJ.

That is literally WR #1 money, which he is not. I'm glad that he did not resign him. People are forgetting that we have some massive extensions coming up next year. I believe Trevor needs to be extended. Andre Cisco needs to be extended, Tyson Campbell needs to be extended. I have it on very good authority that Trevor and Calvin did NOT like each other. Apparently in week 2 there was multiple plays Ridley was open and Trevor would not look his way and kept starring down Kirk. Supposedly Ridley and Trevor had a “talk” about it after the game and it seems the relationship deteriorated more and more as the season went on. We seen some animosity from Trevor to Ridley on the field at times so it would make sense. This info is coming from a friend of Evan engram.
