I appreciate that you mentioned vintage perfumes like 1000 and Eau du Soir and vintage-like perfumes like 24 Faubourg (which is rather underrated nowadays since most women prefer wearing sweeter fragrances). I believe that since we talk about class and elegance the "old Hollywood" vibe is a sine qua non. I really enjoyed your video because you have good knowledge not only about perfumes and notes but also about the feelings that they provoke. Oh and thank you so much for mentioning Diptyque. I love love love your videos we have a similar nose . 1000 by Jean patou is so underrated it is the winter classy bomb noone mentions! Joy as well but 1000 is my baby uber classy. i love your videos. Dior dune and 24 are staples in my collection .Houbigant as well.

Try both versions (EDT and EDP ) because they smell slightly different, I personally prefer de EDT 💕

Hola Giselle, me encantan tus vídeos. Tenemos gustos muy similares, tal vez por que somos más o menos de la misma generación. También soy del equipo de los chypres. Me gusta mucho tu selección en cada uno de tus vídeos. El Alaïa es riquísimo, se parece mucho al Jasmin Noir de Bvlgari. Mi mamá tenía el 1000 de JP cuando yo estaba chavilla. Tenía un frasquito pequeñito de perfume y no lo vendían en México y era carísimo en ese entonces, pero descubrimos que el Aromatics Elixir de Clinique que se parecía un montón. Desde muy chica descubrí mi pasión por los perfumes. Hay muchísimos perfumes que ya no existen que me encantaban. Ahora puedo disfrutar de lo moderno. Yo también tengo el Eau de Soir en mi "colección", me encanta, también el Soir de Lune, lo conoces? Te mando un abrazo desde Alemania, deine alte Heimat. 😘🇲🇽🇩🇪

Me encantan los chypres pero reconozco que es una familia olfativa que no es para todo el mundo y cuesta que llegue a gustar pero luego te atrapa verdad? Amo el Alaïa original los que vinieron despues no me gustan tanto de hecho tenia el blanche o el nude no recuerdo bien y lo vendi pero el original es hermoso.Soir de Lune lo amo! He hecho la reseña aqui en mi canal! CANNOT AFFORD MY FAVORITE EAU DU SOIR. COULD YOU RECOMMEND A LESS EXPENSIVE SIMILAR ?
Honestly Eau de Soir is so unique that I wouldn’t be able to recommend anything because there’s nothing similar to it, however, since it’s a chypre floral fragrance, you might find something close (at least in vibes) to Eau de Soir under this category. Let me think 🤔 if I can find something that might be close 💕💕
As Giselle mentioned Eau du Soir is unique and no one can duplicate this precious juice without lowering at some degree the elegance and class that Sisley radiates through their perfumes. But I have some good news for you. There is a similar (and older) perfume that resembles to Eau du Soir and it's' Jean Louis Scherrer's first fragrance. If you live in Europe you will find it quite easily and at a rather good price.

Hi! Welcome to my channel!!!!! 💕 and thanks for subscribing 😍. So, in regards to the musk, It's my understanding that due to ethical reasons, the musk used in perfumery ( since the 90s ) is synthetic , but to err on the safe side, try to look for fragrances that have ambrette seeds, blond woods or cashmeran in the composition because these are lab-created notes (in other words, synthetic notes) used to sub for the animal musk. It's not the same as the original musk but you'll still have that beautiful cozy, musky feeling without the typical animalic smell and above all, the peace of mind that animals are safe.
