@@gustavsamuel So what? I am saying that a situation like this is more possible now, with all this polarization and increased tensions between the left and the right, a domestic terrorist attack on the Capitol is likely now more than ever.
While this is an epic scene, the central problem with this setup is that the designated survivor would either: (A) NOT be in Washington D.C. at all, in case of a nuclear strike; or (B) if they WERE in D.C., it would be in a protected, underground bunker and definotely NOT somewhere they could open a window curtain and see the Capitol. The most likely scenario is that they are a safe distance from D.C. at a military base or other facility with protected access to communications networks for the military, emergency services, homeland security, CIA, FBI, and FEMA, to name a few.

And Jack Bauer didn't even have to torture someone to get the job.
😳
24 is a spectacular tv show, it really captures the tormented psyche of the great jack bauer, yes this new series is ok i like
3:19 eee..i..i..i..brrr...brrr...brrr lmao Alex😂😂
She was just confused
I adored the hell out of the first few episodes but it really went off the rails afterwards...
The following events takes place between 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
This is probably the best part of the entire series. and i mean this 4 minute long spit...not the whole 1st season. like battlestar gallactica (both iterations), before it, it get windy and full of itself the longer it goes on. good four minutes, maybe the 1st episode, but the rest is ballast.
this is such an awesome show. so many feels.
the first 2 seasons of this show were reeeeeally good.
Would love to see this series continue.
This was an outstanding beginning to a TV series.
Easily one of the best shows at the time! And then season 3 happened.
I didn't hate all of it, but they were being too meta with parallels on current events at the time
I have watched so many political dramas just itching for one as good as this, but none even come close to designated survivor
This was awesome series especially for the first season. In my opinion the should’ve done things differently during season two
Defiantly for season 3
Less than a mile away and no shock blast, no rattling windows? Hollywood! LOL
3:08 Mr. Secretary you need to put the phone down.
He was done after season 2 smh.
BOSS, ITS THE CIPHER, THEY'RE BACK AFTER 9 YEARS
RIP. President vice president cabinet Congress joint chiefs of staff
I STILL love this show
This seemed so fictional a few weeks ago. Now it's so close to reality
Literally no elected official was harmed. What are you on about?
Oh my God you are a clown.
@@gustavsamuel That's true, but the events of that day showed that it is more possible
@@leodahvee So what?
