When I fitted mine it blew the hot side pipe off, if you position the clamp screw heads upright you don't need to remove the bumper, just the head lights. Other than that it s a great intercooler with a big turbo and the fitment is not only perfect but its easier than most smaller ones!
Recently installed mine with the help of this video! Did you ever have any issues with boost before getting the turbo using this intercooler? I’m currently revo stage 1 and got this ready for stage 2 and eventually rt330. After fitting it the car won’t go over 15psi of boost. As soon as it hits 15 it sounds like a boost leak and won’t go any further but no eml is coming on. Will have the bumper off again to check the pipes but would be interesting to hear if you ever had anything similar?
How long do you plan to keep the ST? Also, plans for next car? I think the market for cars following the ST has so many options.. there’s the predictable Focus RS, the Germans (A45, M140/240, S3) etc. Or even the unpredictable like Hyundai i30N I have an ST currently stage 1 mountune (worst tune I know) planning on going Stage 2 pro in the not to distant future But I only plan to keep the car another 12 month ish then I’ll upgrade.. what’s your thoughts?? Keep up the good work man 🙏🏻
Looks good. All white logo was a good choice. What actually holds the intercooler in? Looks like you just slid it into the gromets. No screws/bolts anywhere to secure it?
@@CarRambles fair enough. My main concern would be just how bumpy the ST suspension is but seems pretty secure. Great looking upgrade. Bring on the better snail!
@@fordyford aha, yeah i see your point, it's a tight fit to the whole thing, so the grommets hold really well, it's tight to the crash bar and the little plastic good, so everything kinda holds it nicely. I'm so excited for the turbo but the money has to arrive first
@@CarRambles For Fordy Ford it's not the grommets which hold the cooler in place, it's the metal mounting pins which go into the grommets which hold the cooler :-)
hi mate im looking at this intercooler for my car, it doesn't rattle at all does it? the fact it mounts by just sitting in the crash bar. I assume its proper solid when the boost pipes are all connected
Hot side came with my Revo turbo but on both sides I used the stock silicone that comes directly off the intercooler. Cold side I used airtec(?) I think which fits ok
@@CarRambles thanks for the info. May I know if you need to cut & add any extra hose for fitting? Any issue with the bumper not fit due to wider pipes?

This is a "pro" tip aha, I'll reposition them next time down there! Thank you!
Car Rambles I learnt the hard way 😱
@keith stapleton recently just fitted mine and it's blowing off the pipe on the drivers side. Any idea why it's doing this?
@@robertgrieve8580 the clamp is not done up tight enough or you need to fit two clamps.
That looks awesome, it'll be interesting to see the turbo install. Keep up the good work 👌
The best intercooler exceptional quality I had mine 3 months no issues at all fit well to
It's incredible. From the unboxing experience to fitting to it on the car. I'm a very happy man :)
Well done buddy you definitely deserve it great videos good stuff 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Excellent mate. I have a MK8 ST currently on Revo stage one. This cooler has just been released so it's on my wish list lol. I've subscribed 👍
Thank you for the subscribe mate. Means alot and love reading all the comments!
This cooler is just so nice all around :)
Excellent 👍 I have just ordered mine to fit in my Fiesta with a Peron v1 turbo in it. Can't wait to feel the difference the intercooler brings.
Great video intercooler is looking good. Cannot wait for the turbo install p.s thanks for your help
No problem what so ever :)
Highly enjoyable to watch, cheers.
Thank you for taking to time to watch :)

Sounds like a small boost leak. I would tighten the hose clamps a bit, I didn't have this problem no.
You'll find it :)
Why does you intake not have one of those air filters on the bonnet the pipe just keeps going down??
It's an ITG kit
What’s different on the UK fiesta st front bumper and crash bar surroundings to a USDM model? I want British parts but fitment is my concern.

That is a very good question, and on that note, im gonna save that for my Q&A i have planned! aha, stay tuned!

Nope its fully held in with the rubber grommet and the boost pipes below. Tbh it's only 4kg so it's nothing weight wise

Did you have any problems with it? Heard of them cracking after so long? Rather have someone’s opinion who’s actually used it?
Not at all

No rattle it's solid :)
@@CarRambles good to know thanks mate, love your car :)
May I know which brand of charge pipe are you running? I can't find a perfect fit even using the Pro alloy ones.
Which pipe do you mean exactly?
@@CarRambles I mean both the hot side and cold side boost pipes. For connecting to the intercooler. It seems your one fits well

Na bumper is ok, and if you have to cut pipes yourself then it's a poor kit lol.
hi, has anyone had any problems with rear wheel bearings? my st has 31k on it and sounds a bit rough. thanks
28/29k and nothing 🥴
Pro alloy, great at making intercoolers. Shit at getting back to customers 😡 Went with mishimoto in the end who are far better!! 😎
Sorry to hear that mate
👍
MJ performance what a shambles they are!
We're fine with me in terms of this delivery :)
Love a bit of car porn! This intercooler is supposed to be the best you can buy for the ST180! I smell a certain turbo coming soon!
All the research I done said the same for this price range :) pretty much gotta pay 1k+ for anything better from what I found out
