I’ll be honest. If you are making beats and not performing live the JU-06a can make the same noises. A lot of folks are afraid because it’s 4 voices but us producers layer sounds and we don’t even really need more than 4.. with the built in chorus and chord trigger is a must if you don’t have the bread to put out for one of these bad boys… keep up the great content.
You are correct. The only thing about the boutiques, they’re so good that they are easy to collect and after you buy 3-4 of them you real close to the price of a Juno X. I sold my Jupiter X to some that had collect all and wanted to consolidate.
@@park171i had a ju6 for a while, it was ait but a bit thin in the top register compared to my old og juno6. The se02 roland minimoog boutique is the one tho, god damn that is some thicc creamy sounds in that one. Also the Yamaha reface cs is a tiny retro monster
I've always been a Rowland fan since the XP series. Rowland always gonna bring it when it comes to synths that beat was bangin' keep up the good work Bolo
Shhhessh i mess this tough. I bought the Juno X and my ARP 2600 and am killing it with beats I got a A on my finals for school to compose a 5min track. I just need a drum sequence like yours though I have that same style of beat like yours 🫡
I played one of these this week - it's really great - super super easy to get great synth sounds on it, just like the Juno 106. It's out of my price range, but it's a damn good keyboard.
Damn man going to have to sell the kids to handle my gear cravings 😂 I like the sound. Of that juno-x definitely something in there spicing up those tones 🔥🔥✊🏿✊🏿
Totally inspired by this video, and that “aging “ feature is a great curiosity for me. I’m looking for something polyphonic this year, I’ve gotten too used to my ARP Odyssey’s style. That new beat sounds great for a dark winter night
Saw this video about a week ago and although i couldn't get the juno x at this time, i did pull the trigger on the juno ds61, which im loving right now!
Awesome. I have the xm and while I have been in Vietnam the last 2 months I have been missing it. However, I have also been contemplating getting the Juno X for the larger keyboard and the ability to adjust the part volume. Your explanation about needing more parts because you combine them is a great point. After watching your videos I want to trade in my Mpc one plus for the Mpc x se and my live track 8 for the Tascam model 12 lol. Thank you and happy new year. Your purchase is the seal of approval I was looking for. Peace
I got the Jupiter XM and was considering selling and getting the FANTOM 6 flagship for the 16 parts I think this video convinced me I’m go check and see if they still got it at the pawnshop I think they was asking about 2500 for it
Nice review 🔥 Is there an HOLD key fonction on the Juno X as on the JUNO 60 ? I’m not talking about ARP hold but just about a classic HOLD fonction. Thanks a lot !!!!!
I just got Softube's Model 84 and when I use it, I run it through my analog gear....with the Nebula API 2500 Comp...(Live Analog Sampled) Pretty much sounds Identical...thats a Total of $150 - $200 with (Any affordable Mixer and compressor in your Budget) Just putting that out for everyone else, along with me, Drooling right now...LOL..thats a pratical means to have that even if you cant buy one right now.... But really cool video...me growing up and using this in the Studio next door and now having Model 84 you definately have proved how close Softube is to hardware (Very Very Very Close)
Can definitely hear the better sound quality. Don’t know if it’s the Manley or the keyboard but it sounds good. The fantom just had a major update. They are releasing models for the fantom. Which is called fantom EX now. Looks like you’re going to be able to have all keywords modeled inside the fantom. It’s running via hardware. So no cheap sample sounds.
I believe the difference in the Roland hardware series I believe as I have the Fantom 06 series is that Jupiter X, Juno X and Fantom Flagship have an real analog filter and the 06 has a digital filter. But the sound engine mainly the oscillators side is the zenoloy core plus the ACB emulator technology. I like the Juno X for its user friendliness for synthesis and complete control with all the parameters laid out. The Fantom 06 I have to do a lot of menu diving. But it has a lot of digital samples for my oscillating so I can get the sounds from digital, analog to traditional. I don’t know for sure but I imagine the Juno and Jupiter can do the same, right?
One of the best demos I've seen on the Juno X. I primarily produce, but do gig occasionally, so I'd need something which satisfies both needs. Seeing it used in a production setting like this really does highlight more of what it can do than just somebody noodling around with some presets. Thanks Bolo, yet another solid video!
Im pretty new to music production but i already know , Roland has some of the best sounds. You said that the fantom 0 series misses that sound , if you bought patches on the flaggship fantim , is that as good ?
The Prophet 5 is definitely fire 🔥! I turned it back on the other day and was like “Oh Shit” !! But the JunoX keeps me busy I don’t need much else. I’m still exploring and learning new stuff.
Great question, the only sensible explanation I can give is that I have gear acquisition syndrome (G.A.S.) 🤣🤣🤣 but these units sound very good. I have not heard the Fantom 6 yet, but I might try it out. And, there’s a few things on these boards that you can do that the phantom six cannot do. But from what I hear the Fantom 6 a very good keyboard
@@BoloDaProducerI'm a Roland guy too bro I get it trust me! I have a System 8, TR8S, FA06 (You talked me into that) ,DJ808, J6, and I just got a Fantom6. You and I have the same weakness lmfao.

Nah the juno x is a different beast completely, zen core synthesis , not acb modeling. 4 ‘partials’ layered

Roland will always be one of the best, always. Dope beat as usual Bolo. A simple, humble approach can never fail.
That Juno X looks dope fam! I know you bout to get down with that!
Yessir!
Those sounds are Hard! Enjoyed the demo
Awesome beat.🔥🔥🔥🔥
I have a Roland cloud sub. I may or may not have the Juno X included with it. Anyway, those are some great sounding presets.

So which do u like better bolo? The fantom-06 or the Juno x?
if you had it sitting around for a month unopened, wouldn’t you miss the return window if something was faulty?
Nice review 🔥

I finally got it too! Amazing! Question, can the mpc use the A and H cq 18t mixer?
The JunoX is indeed very very desirable with some real kickass features. Thanks Bolo 🤙🏽
VERY NICE. What is the top control unit you are working with? I coudnt zoom enough to catch the brand.

Hi! Juno-X have the same 4000 presets like Jupiter-X?
Epic sounds 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Super dope!
@Bolodaproducer How does the Air Jura on the MPC compare as far as sound?
Air Jura sounds very close!
If you are going with the Juno line, go with the Juno-G. It has the D-Beam controller.

Dang bro that's dope u may have to send me some rnb loops from that keyboard
I have a Roland Juno DS 61 keyboard , I think all Roland keyboards have good sounds.
