Other info:
SNCB stands for "Société nationale des chemins de fer belges" and is the French abbreviation for the Belgian National Railway Company which also happens to be the one most commonly used in English. However, you may also see it abbreviated as NMBS which stands for "Nationale Maatschappij der Belgische Spoorwegen" and is the Dutch abbreviation. Depending on which part of Belgium you are in, it could be called either SNCB and/or NMBS.
