From Season 17 of Walt Disney's Disneyland Anthology program we have Episode 4: The Wacky Zoo of Morgan City, Part 1 which originally aired on October 18th, 1970. With Election Day growing near the mayor of Morgan City, Bernard Philbrick, accepts the support of an influential ladies' group. The ladies will help with his campaign if the mayor agrees to close down the town's dilapidated zoo and let them use the site for a new museum. Sure that no one important cares about the zoo, he agrees, then appoints Mitch Collins, a city accountant, to run the zoo. Philbrick hasn't counted on Collin's children, who prompt their dad into working for the zoo's survival. Yeah, impressive…and Anne Seymour!!! Surprised this film hasn’t been fully restored and put on Disney+…it’s a good one!
