Thanks a lot for this guide it is exactly what I needed to fix my window, and now they work perfectly, so rain water isn’t leaking through and climate control isn’t leaking out 👍👍👍
Hi there I have a 1999 Vitara 16V here in Thailand. For a couple of years the driver;s window would fail, I thumped the door to cure it and eventually made a little hole in the door lining and tapped the motor via a slim screwdriver through the hole to the motor. It mostly worked but is now unreliable. I don't know what a aftermarket motor/regulator set costs but I know from Suzuki it's 8000baht (over $250) Even half of that is a lot in Thailand. My question is, given its almost certain to be the motor at fault, is it possible to disassemble these window motors to replace the brushes or repair them? Or are they fixed permanently together? Thanks v much

@Charlie Krew thanks for your reply. I found the site through google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Seems to take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.

My window switch makes noise up/down but the window won't go up or down and if I let it go it slides down. Could it be a lose screw?
Is it the same for the rear ones?
How do you put the weather protector back?
