While King Triton had good intentions in trying to protect his daughter Ariel, those intentions went in vain, as he instead pushed Ariel away by destroying her property.
Two disagreements: 1. As an Absolute Monarch, Triton would not be able to be sentenced in a court of law. However, his determination to rescue his daughter indicates he is not a danger to society or his family. He was just misguided. 2. The Fates, although they delight in their jobs with no small amount of sadism, basically told Hades a fortune. They did not advise Hades of a battle plan, or how to do it. They simply gave him an outcome. It was up to him to decide whether or not to proceed. If anything, they would get off virtually scott free.
True, but would you rip a child’s stuffed animal into pieces as “discipline” or stomp on their favorite cars, breaking them into pieces, or tossing a kid’s iPhone in the toilet? Yeah, Triton was grieving and cared for his daughter, but that’s still abuse.
@@pineforest1442 Like I said, misguided. He did things wrong, I will not deny that. But like I also said, he cannot be tried because he is a sovereign ruler.
The fates would get off the hook because of two things. 1:they point out that they're not supposed to tell the future (as a part of the mythos, to get your fate told you must give something to them. In this case a compliment only the lord of deat can give) and 2: their wording. "IF Hercules fights." They weren't telling Hadies how to take Alimpis. They simply told him what might happen. Their defense:They simply told what the following events might be. Bothe good and bad. I'd say max one year for giving a fortune at such a cheap price. But their laugh when they left the room kinda tells they knew he'd fail.
Where the HELL did you get Alimpis??? It's Olympus. Also, HADES, NOT HADIES. And he's the lord of death, not deat. Hey, at least you managed to spell Hercules right.
@Alex m again. Going based on mythology. It is a part of their job to tell the future. The difference between helping him and what they did is, they only told the part he wanted to hear. The future and warning of what waits for him. Not how to stop his defeat.
Fun fact: the reason hercules is now a 'god' at the end of the movie and unaffected by the fates is because he plunged into the styx the same river used to make achilles invulnerable except ya know, the whole body submersed and actively breathing in the water, so fully invulnerable
Um no he became a God became because he was selfless and very willing to give his life for Meg that ultimate act of selflessness made him a God that was a mark of a true hero.
@@catherineterry1111 yes, but if it was mythologically accurate, it would be because of the river, since it makes your skin impenetrable on Greek mythology
@@loganstewart7105 well he obvious matter is that he was made mortal by hades poison but due to not drinking every last drop had still ironically one string left of god powers and would be able to reverse when it follows the conditions
Edit: been a while since seeing The Little Mermaid so my memory sucks on it. A minor detail in my head: Wasn't Ursula also seen eating one or two of the people she turned into seaweed creatures? Not that it would change her sentence, but would that count as a form of cannibalism or something?
Here’s how we can overkill Hades: Turn him mortal with his own mortality potion, then have the Fates cut his life thread as he’s thrown into the river Stix! XD
Sweet, a Part 2. Now which part of Hell Disney Villians would go based on Dante’s Inferno part 2. (Made a similar comment in the first video) Ursula: Fraud for witchcraft or Wrath Shan Yu: Violence Scar: Treason Hades: Heresy? Maybe Treason If there’s another video like this I want to see the movies Treasure Planet, Atlantis, Princess and the Frog, and Brother Bear.
Shan Yu and accomplices are one of three Disney Villains (the other two being Frollo and Ratcliffe from part 1) who committed Nuremburg-tier crimes: Crimes Against Peace, War Crimes, and Crimes Against Humanity.
Maybe a list of crimes committed by heroes/princesses? Intentionally or otherwise? Also the “how many soldiers does it take to deliver a message?” “One” scene always gets me
Even though Hades is the God of Hell and does a lot of bad things in the movie, you gotta admit that his personality overall as a character makes him stand out from the rest. It's doubtful that he'd be able to charm his way out of his punishment, but in a court trial based in Olympus, I think that would be very entertaining! 😄
I think King Triton destroying Ariel's things should have carried an abuse charge; not just for the implied threat of "That could be you next time you step out of line", but because there really is no positive outcome to destroying something your child loves--it gives them warped ideas regarding what property means and it just makes them more sneaky and secretive since telling a parent about their passions risks losing them forever. I am of the theory that the reason Ariel fell for Ursula's contract wasn't just to be with Eric, but to escape from a potentially unsafe family situation.
Ursala attempting to steal the ROYAL TRIDENT would be considered Grand Larceny instead of just theft as it is an item of priceless value and a royal monarchial symbol/object.
Again a great video but don't you know in the greek mythology the 3 fate sister name's are Clothos (she decide when a person will die and loom the string of life), Lachesis (decide the time the person will be alive and pull the string of life) and Atropos (choose the form of death and cut the string). Can't wait to see with Lyle Tiberius Rourke, and Bradley Uppercrust III Hope you'll do the same with Warner bros bad guy
I think triton should have been charged with abuse and his sentence should be mandatory parenting classes, anger management classes, and therapy (specifically greif counseling)
I think you might have cheated Sheshao. Since the kill was off screen we never find out if he killed the guy or left a life threatening injury. He could have missed or missed the vital organs that would failed to kill the guy and the victim recovered from the arrow. (his target was wearing armor) So that one might be just attempted murder.
"all rise for the court, *bang gavel* the court is now in session, as the we now know that the crimes these villains have done are unforgivable, so if there any of the criminal have a lawyer that would defend them, let get this started" *begin court for the crimes of the villains*
Even though Megara's got crimes, she's glad to have been let off with 6 months community service and without a fine, to my relief. But the question is still remaining: Is she going to be able to complete her full period of community service? and If there was a fine involved, like I also asked with King Triton and Sebastian, would she intentionally or unintentionally fail to pay it? Whatever your opinions are on this, not just to you, WickedBinge, but to everyone else who has been commenting on RUclips about this serious stuff, send it over here and I can't wait to hear it.
Killing the emperor is concerned regicide so Shan ya attempted regicide of the emperor commit mass murder. He gets mass animal murder for killing a lot of horses. Property damage, and destruction of property.
Sentence the Squid Game players Gi-hun (assault) Ali (grievous assault) Ali's boss (Wage theft) Ji-yeon (exonerate on the murder) Sae-byeok (pickpocketing) Sang-woo (embezzlement) Deok-su (many, many crimes) Il-nam (multiple murders and manslaughters) VIPs (see above) VIP4 (see above plus attempted sexual assault)
What if you guys did a similar video but with all the major Disney villains sentenced for the crimes they committed such as hate crimes, abuse, assault, vandalism, arson, property destruction, breaking and entering, theft, shoplifting, piracy, kidnapping, false imprisonment, animal abuse, acts of conspiracy, acts of war, attempted murder, murder, assassination, genocide, and other crimes?
Sentencing Little Mermaid villains (not counting Sebastian and King Triton) takes me back to when my high school did a production of Little Mermaid during my senior year in 2017.
Think Meg should get a pardon. She was a hostage after all. Yes, she went to Hades for a deal but it ended up being a bad deal not fairly delivered. But then again, some could argue if she would've continued to do Hades bidding if she hadn't fell for Herc.
FYI: Regicide is seen as far more heinous than murdering someone else. As such, most of those in the video that attempted to kill someone from royalty would certainly be publicly executed.
Awesome video!!! Also I'm going to Charge Trident for disablin as well because it has Ariel's property he destroyed, yes she is his kid, but that doesn't justify destroying all her stuff, so I would have sentenced him to 25 years in prison or pay Ariel 10,000 dollars
In regards to Ursula's various crimes, I would like to note three of them not mentioned in this video: Fraudulent Contracts, Sexual Assault, and Felony Murder. Firstly, since Ursula mind-controlled Eric into a sham marriage, I'm considering that a form of Sexual Assault. Second, Fraudulent Contracts are contracts made in bad faith- such as with the intent on preventing the other party from fulfilling their part, which is Ursula's MO. Third, Felony Murder is the act of accidentally killing someone as a direct result of a Felony- Ursula accidentally killing Flotsam and Jetsam during the attempted murder of Prince Eric would be considered Felony Murder.
5 years in jail for The Fates! That's quite lenient, if you ask me, WickedBinge but anyways: Whatever your opinions are on this, not just to you, WickedBinge, but to everyone else who has been commenting on RUclips about this serious stuff, send it over here and I can't wait to hear it.
How to be a good parent 101: do not do like Triton, and destroy everything your kid hold dear, especially when accidental murder is almost involved. Seriously, he almost hit three sentient beings with human intelligence, of which one is your own freaking daughter. Triton almost killed his own darn daughter, which is a serious crime all in itself. Don't be like Triton. Just don't. If a kid needs dicipline, don't freaking destroy the things your kids holds dear, like their video game consoles/ other electronics, don't take away their phones/ipads, don't yell like a lunatic, don't embarres them in a public way, simply put, don't be a freaking lunatic. If you want to dicipline your kid, don't destroy everything, and don't be a freaking jerk. Remember, if you destroy something your kids hold dear, you will be hated by your kids, so if you don't want to be villainized for the rest of your life by literally everyone around you, don't destroy the things your kid hold the dearest. Look at me. I don't have kids, and here i am, diciplining and teaching parents in how to be better parents
@jf k he might not be a villain to us, but to Ariel, he certainly was. Destroying the things Ariel loved the most doesn't justify his behavior. If he wants to dicipline his daughters, there is other ways he can do that, not go berserk and destroy everything, almost killing his own daughter. Almost killing your own daughter is not a good way to be diciplinary, it's neglect at best and child murder at worst. He almost murdered his own freaking daughter in what basically was blind rage. He's a villain in Ariels eyes, and while he rectified it and opened his heart, because he finally understood how Ariel felt, it doesn't mean she fully forgave her father. There is the chance that Ariel never forgave Triton for what he did, he did almost kill her, but i csn understand him in a way. He did lose his wife, Ariels mother, but it doesn't mean it's okay to almost kill your own damn daughter and destroy everything she loved and cared about in her youth. I do understand that he was overprotective, but it still doesn't mean that destroying all of Ariels stuff, including that statue, that's most likely was worth thousands of dollars, or whatever they use under the sea, probably shells of dead oysters and similar shelled sea creatures, and almost killing his own offspring, her best friend and the guy he chose as his daughters caretaker, or whatever role Sebastian had. Destroying all of Ariels belongings and almost killing a sentient crab, fish and his own daughter is an overreaction. I'm on a rant here, i notice, but seriously
@jf k sadly, that isn't really true. While Triton is the good guy and only did what he did to protect his daughters, he isn't an unsung hero, he isn't a hero at all. If he was anything like you say he is and was, he would've allowed Ariel to swim/walk her own path, her own way, in life. A good parent doesn't forbid his from choosing their own path in life, instead, a good father let's his kids go their own ways, while giving good advice along the way, and he did neither. He was overprotective, which generally isn't a sign of bad parenting, but the way he did it is. If you do as you said, you don't come far in life. You get nowhere at all. I know a lot about that, since everyone around me has done what you said Triton did, and yet, i hate everyone around me, especially my dad. What you explain here is actually a bad way to teach your kids to diciplined. It fail in everything, actually. My father is just like the Triton you explain, and yet, here i am, being anything but the Ariel you explain. I do respect my father, not because he is like the Triton you talk about, but because my father is too stupid to realize anything. Truth is, that the opposite happen. The only thing Ariel really got to learn is that there was two evils, one lesser bad evil, and one really, really terrible evil. She just saw her father, Triton as a lesser evil person. Truth betold, she only did what she did because she's rebellious, not because she realized a mistake she didn't actually commit. The way you describe Triton is actually the opposite of what a good father do. I'm proof of that. I'm in Ariels seat in life, even if i'm a guy, and isn't a prince/king, but i and Ariel does have a similar upbringing, it's really the same, in all senses, and it turns out that if you are like Triton the way you say, then you don't have any control of your kids, really. I know, because i still refuse to even acknowledge that my father is anything but a bloody tyrant that made my life worse. My life got worse when i entered my period with depression, where i tried to kill myself. People like me and Ariel is the opposite of what others would consider normal. Ariel and i are actually problem people. I'm a grown up, and while i got a different path in life, i and Ariel still are the same, only different genders. I would do the same as Ariel too, if i were in her shoes, or fish tail in her case. I too would only go back when a greater evil shows up. Triton is a lesser evil that learned that in order to be an actual good father, it's better to let your kids go, or swim their own way in life, instead of doing what Triton did at first. My parents, or at least my father still haven't learned that. It's my mother who was and still is the reason i still have contact with my parents. It's really because i want to cut their lawns and visit their dogs, cat and sheeps, not them. I don't care much for my parents, and that's shown in Ariel too, because she did fornid her own daughter to go into the sea. She did the same mistake as her father, Triton. They both were overprotective, but none of them realized that they were the problem, until the damage were done, and they had to let their daughters go. Triton didn't want Ariel to follow the path Ariel wanted to follow, while Ariel didn't want her daughter to follow the path Ariels daughter wanted to follow, and chaos that really was unneccecery occured. The chaos that followed were never needed if Triton hadn't done what he did, the same thing with Ariel and her daughter. It was unneccisary and stupid. The fact that Triton was a bad father led to Ariel making a deal that was stupid, because she wasn't allowed to follow her path that life wanted her to follow, is the reason to why chaos wrecked havoc across the entire kingdom
@jf k my mother isn't emotionally abusive, yet i'm just like Ariel. Parents doesn't actually have to be hardcore. Hardcore parents are the reason Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin became the ones they became. They had hardcore parents, and they became dictators who murdered millions
1.I'd agrue that Ursula turning merpeople into those sea creatures should be considered mutilation. Before it's revealed that Ursula's death can reverse the spell, it seems pretty permanent. 2. How exactly are you going to hang a lion?
I believe the hyenas should get a worse sentence for grand larceny and attempted larceny (killing both scar and mufasa as well as attempted murder of simba) larceny is one of the worst crimes so I believe death sentence but worse than the rest
You guys forgot to include the other two villains of the Disney Renaissance which are the poachers Percival McLeach from The Rescuers Down Under and Clayton from Tarzan!
The fates commit mass murder, and genocide, populicide and even attempted deicide of Hercules, since Hercules is related to Jesus and his father, Zeus is related to God, and Hercules and his father zeus are both related to Jesus and God.
Totally agree with everything on this list but not for the Hades one You think Zeus and the other God will chosen a much more bigger punishment Not just killing him no I suggest a more brutal way of doing it and i Just the man to do it and his name is kratos
The death by a thousand cuts wasn't as torturous as it's made out to be, most of the time the victim would be executed by the fifth cut, the rest would be post-mortem because of a religious belief that if not buried whole, they'll be denied into heaven.
Killing a monarch is considered regicide so scar and the three hyenas killed Mufasa, which is regicide and scar deserve to die. It was right for the hyenas to kill scar he is evil so the hyenas didn’t completely redeem themselves but they completely reformed in the lion guard series I think

Ursula: Fraud for witchcraft or Wrath
Shan Yu: Violence
Scar: Treason
Hades: Heresy? Maybe Treason

Triton is an absolute monarch so you can't trial him
Even though Hades is the God of Hell and does a lot of bad things in the movie, you gotta admit that his personality overall as a character makes him stand out from the rest. It's doubtful that he'd be able to charm his way out of his punishment, but in a court trial based in Olympus, I think that would be very entertaining! 😄

Netflix a series of Unfortunate events good to evil
YES
Ok
Hi! I know it’s not really related to the video. But can they do a video on Danganrompa squid games? First two games to make it easier.
Can't wait to see with Lyle Tiberius Rourke, and Bradley Uppercrust III
Hope you'll do the same with Warner bros bad guy
What about the royal advisor from Mulan?
Edit: why would you be charging the hyenas for eating Scar if he survived in this hypothetical scenario?
What about Disney characters would need therapy like king triton
I think triton should have been charged with abuse and his sentence should be mandatory parenting classes, anger management classes, and therapy (specifically greif counseling)
I think you might have cheated Sheshao. Since the kill was off screen we never find out if he killed the guy or left a life threatening injury. He could have missed or missed the vital organs that would failed to kill the guy and the victim recovered from the arrow. (his target was wearing armor)
So that one might be just attempted murder.
Hades would probably view being killed as better than his actual fate being trapped in the river Styx for all of eternally.
Technically: Mulan was also deserving of death in her first movie for a while at least
Why, because she broke tradition? OH, NO, THE HUMANITY OF IT ALL!!

How about pokemon villains getting punished?
You know Simba also break the rule, when he got on the land of the hyana it said that the elephant graveyard are the property to the hyenas

Tim Curry characters good to evil
@jf k you call that a dark fate? You truly know nothing. Bump that up a trillion times, then we can call it a dark fate
