People who say that that’s not a good competitive choice don’t understand that she has sung the songs by the Weeknd and J. Cole and elevated them. There is even that song “blue” that originally is not a song for any singer with their weight, and she made it into something extraordinary.
This has become my favorite performance by her so far. She definitely gave a little taste of every single thing that has made me a fan of her through the years. She finally brought back the high belting, she brought back the instrument playing, for the first time she brought violin playing to the stage, she brought so much emotions, especially at the end, she brought her head voice, she had a little bit of runs, but not that much. It was perfect.

I think she and Chante are neck and neck in terms of vocals. I definitely do not see how chante is actually a better technical singer than Faouzia even though Faouzia doesn’t have training.

Chante does not place above faouzia in terms of vocals as a musician I can say that clearly. Chante is definitely more experienced and she has been present in the industry more than Faouzia has, but Faouzia's vocal range is definitely wider than Chante's. Not to forget that Faouzia is a multi-instrumentalist and she's self-taught. Both of them are great singers but Faouzia has the upper hand when it comes to vocal abilities.
Fawzia lives in America and is known to many celebrities. She writes songs that if she had come at a later time, they might have given her her due rights, because now international awards and fame are only for those who dance with water.
