We did, all day Sunday and stayed another day and did Monday, then long drive home, son, Kris is booking for Dyfi end of Feb, OMG I'm to old for this, I'll be camera man again at the big jumps, I'm 57, I roll the big ones, lol
I do not understand the low end old SLX cranks...when Hope has nice purple version...again cable routing on bars looks really bad...why that long?! But the frame looks good...
That's the same bike I'm looking to get! Aluminum FTW! Did you paint it that grey? Love the coloring. Great video as always, keep it going as long as you guys can!
I wince every time I see a machanic deburr a steerer tube and the burrs fall towards the dust seals. It's in the steerer clamp, just leave the fork in the horizontal position, once cut, slide it along a little further and deburr. This surely can't just be me with this way of thinking.
Hi Kevin, I hear ya dude, and yes It would make me wince too. We always blow the few filings away if any fall around the seals prior to fitting, but I take your point. We don't film all the process and we should include that too, and your method sounds like a good way of avoiding this problem. I hope you keep watching and see how we adapt what we do in future video's. Thanks for your comments and tips as it's not just us that take notice others will read it too, and that is what it's all about for us, cheers Joe.
Im really surprised they did not want a different lever for that dropper, I got the koryak on my back up bike and the lever is terrible . Also kinda weird that they got shimano and sram mixed drive train
Hi James, Glad you are watching and obviously noticing stuff. We do like to mix things up a bit which you may notice on our other video's too. We also like to see comments on this and the products we use. I have not heard of any problems with the Koryak lever, I thought it felt good! I'd love to hear more on that subject. I hope this hasn't got in the way of you enjoying this video or any of our others, cheers Joe.
@@JoesBikesUK @Joe's Bikes Yea it looks like yours is a little different, the one i got if you don't use the i-spec mount it places the lever it sits too far behind the bar and makes you have to reach back to actuate it. Besides that is has been a great dropper and they have them for $109 on universal cycles. Can't beat it at that price. Love the videos, just subscribed
Have to admit, when I saw the purple stem/ gold fat bat combo I was thinking - should have left it in the 90's 😄. But once it was finished, damn, that looks good! Although I probably would have gone for the gold cassette/ chain combo to balance it off at either end 👍
He's about 6'0'' and it's an XL, glad you found the video calming in these troubled times, I hope you keep watching our other videos and you find them as interesting, cheers Joe.
I hear what you are saying, this customer actually wanted the alloy instead of the carbon even though he could easily afford it! He is one of a growing customer base that are going back to alloy as they think carbon is not that eco friendly. What are your thoughts on his decision? I hope you keep watching Adam and I welcome your comments, and don't worry, we will keep doing video's on carbon bikes, cheers Joe.
Hows many takes did the bottle trick take??

I need those Santa Cruz decals for my Bronson!
Pretty special aren't they
If I can give you some advice try to use Acor bottom bracket it's only 20£ more but give amazing effect.
Thanks, I'll look into them

Hi Tomas, we left cables a bit long as we had not had the customer on the bike to set it up for him, we need extra to trim to fit later, cheers Joe
As owner of 2019 AL version, this is 🔥🔥🔥 Does not seem big changes compared to 2019 !
Just small changes every year

Does Joe’s Bikes sell, cut and Ship Frame Protection for newer mtb Frames ?
We do through SquadProbike instagram.com/squadprobike/?hl=en
Joe Joe Joe, Never cut a stem, just put more HOPE spacers on it, and where's the hope headset, tut tut
Hi Richard, we don't get to choose everything, the customer is always right! Hope spacers would have been nice defo. ;-)
"Unite" spacers, it's just not bling is it !
I agree mate. ;-)
🤩🤩🤩
😀
rare build specially for aluminum santa cruz
Beautifull. But. She forgot. Bicycle grease in the peels
Glad you like it Carlos, good that you noticed that. I hope you keep watching and noticing stuff, keep safe Joe.
all that money into a aluminum frame what a waste.

i think Frank just being sarcastic
I own an alloy Bronson v3 and Pivot Carbon FB29
