As someone who played pretty much all of these except the card one and the hex one, I have to confirm that the ds versions always had the most killer soundtracks. Also I remember finding the style of the console versions of vilgax attacks and cosmic destruction really cool when I was watching gameplay on youtube but really really not liking them when I played them. I think the more complex "mature feeling" perspective and system made them less fun to me back then. I still loved their ds versions though. Like in alien force the only bosses that are in both versions are gorvan and the highbreed with the ds version feeling the gaps with techadon of all things and then some random dnalien-fied wildvine for some bizarre reason who was also stupidly hard to beat for me at the time which in combination with the utter confusion of its mere existence made me really scared of it for a while lol. Also it's interesting when sometimes it feels like both versions "get the memo" for something but end up executing it in completely different ways. Like the highbreed boss was invulnerable in both games but in consoles you just have to activate a bunch of switches while surviving while in the ds the highbreed just menacingly walks towards you as you run away and try to direct some weird lasers at him on your way. Then afterwards in vilgax attacks and cosmic destruction both versions have the same bosses for the most part but their order and locations are mixed up, like in vilgax attacks the vreedle Brothers are in vulpin in consoles and in brainstorm's planet in ds or evil Cooper is in Tokyo in consoles and in Venezuela in the ds. It's kinda weird and fascinating how these differences came to be. Idk I kinda really loved all of these games though as a kid even when I didn't like to actually play some of them. I wasn't as hard on the conventionally popular videogames as other kids so these kinda take their place in the nostalgia department in my brain Edit: I just remembered something that would be funny to mention since you seemed fond of brainstorm. “Can you imagine how gut wrenching that would’ve been as a kid?” I didn’t have to… The game itself came with two random cards which was a horrible idea because I had Wildmutt’s attack card but only could play as Heatblast. After a year of having the game with no hyperscan…
Edit: Also did anyone else have trouble activating the cheat codes on the DS version of Protector of Earth? I thought Upchuck was a myth for so long because every site that gave me the code didn’t work…
The outro music threw me into a nostalgia wave and it's not even Ben 10, thanks dude.
I have the nintendo switch port of the second reboot game, and oh god, I randomly have the urge to end it all
Same…
Power Trip? Why? It's not bad at all
@@bluefire9285 it’s really fun when it’s not a buggy mess. It crashed when I sped around as XLR8.
@@bluefire9285 The Nintendo port is so BAD, it has about 50 or 100 pixels per character and the lag THE LAG
Thank you for uploading videos! It’s the happiest point of my day
Me and my dad LOVED playing Galactic racing, shame we don't have smth like that with all of CN's properties
watching a youtuber with the same interests is always so fun
As someone who played pretty much all of these except the card one and the hex one, I have to confirm that the ds versions always had the most killer soundtracks. Also I remember finding the style of the console versions of vilgax attacks and cosmic destruction really cool when I was watching gameplay on youtube but really really not liking them when I played them. I think the more complex "mature feeling" perspective and system made them less fun to me back then. I still loved their ds versions though. On that note you should have mentioned a bit about the arbitrary boss changes between versions in the games after protector of earth. I wasn't as hard on the conventionally popular videogames as other kids so these kinda take their place in the nostalgia department in my brain
Edit: I just remembered something that would be funny to mention since you seemed fond of brainstorm. In the ds version of vilgax attacks the meta to beat the whole game the fastest was literally choose brainstorm and spam A lol.
Can you repeat that

How was ben 10 alien force?? I absloutely remember having a blast at that game with my freind, does it still hold as a good game till this day?
@@sbevexlr848 Which version DS or main line? I think the main line console version is pretty cool with how it incorperated gwen and kevin into it, contrary to what diamondbolt said, I remember really liking that . The Ds version still had banger music like the the other ds versions but it feels a little meh now tbh, especially because in retrospect it ends up feeling like a demo for vilgax attacks' ds version.
@@spyro2002 ok that's really nice to hear, I really liked the 2 player thing they did and had a blast with it playing with my freind on the wii so seeing that it still holds up is amaizing honestly, also did you play the multiplayer with anyone??
I still have my copy of Ben 10 Omniverse 2 for the Xbox 360 lmao
I love Alien Force and Ultimate Alien Cosmic Destruction, they are amazing games. Like Protector of Earth I spent so much time with them on PS2. It was a nice touch that you could play as Kevin and Gwen in Alien Force. And I can’t get enough of the Ultimate Alien sections and the Waybig boss. I refused to play Omniverse because that show just ruined Ben 10 for me.
Keep it up on your work and this video and channel
OH MY GOD. I LOVED OMNIVERSE.
You knew things got serious when you went into quick time events
Its game time

we neeed a MMO ben 10 game where you can make your own character that wields the omnitrix and you get a random set of 10 aliens and upgrade your omnitrix!
I owned the DS trilogy pack of Ben 10 Protector of Earth, Alien Force, and Vilgax Attacks.
I believe I only beat Protector, know I never beat Alien Force, and loved Vilgax Attacks. Both for the... sentient Smoothie Cup as well as the Albedo boss fight where he actually turns into Alien X only to remain frozen and still for an entire year according to Ultimate Alien, yes this scene actually was mentioned in the show as an alternate timeline so there's that.
Disrespecting vilgax attacks i thought visiting the other homeworlds was so cool it was beautiful
What about Ben 10 Omniverse 2 for the 3ds? Yes, it is basically the same thing as Ben 10 Omniverse for the ds but more Aliens and a lot more fun than the console verson, because it's like the previous iteration and not something else
"brainstorm can illeagally download movies" had me creasing this man is so funny for no reason at all.
"hyper scan... hyper fucking shit"

I've recently played pretty much all of these except ps2 and the card games and my favorite is Cosmic Destruction I also have fun with omniverse tho
Loved Ben 10 as a kid, I think my favorites were Spidermonkey, The wolf one, Big Chill, the spider gorilla, Bloxx, Armadrillo, and ngl Upchuck. Great video btw! Still the most consistently great RUclipsr I’ve watched.
Blitzwolfer is the wolf one
@@siamesewarrior7248 ahhh, never would’ve remembered that, thank you though.
@@Machamp-ps7wx you’re welcome :)
Plot twist: when playing cosmic destruction, buzzshock sabotaged his emulator

Ben 10 UA: CD will always be my favourite Ben 10 game.
9:30 man the song played during that scene is way more creepy , idky
That Ben 10 protector of earth soundtrack is amazing!
Although diamondbolt couldn't get around to reviewing the reboots in time, he wouldn't have done them anyways because the DS version had Exclusives.
I read this and thought “power trip had a ds port?”
I love your videos! You talk like you think your videos aren’t all that great, but you have a great sense of humor and comedic editing. Please keep making more!
I had Vilgax attacks on the wii as a kid. I was extremely obsessed with it. Haven't played any of other ben 10 games except for Omniverse 2 on 3DS.
Vilgax attacks is unbeaten. It's so fing good
I never thought that a Ben 10 game would take inspiration from the original God of War games
