Linn looked like she was having fun and had so much confidence! It's great to see!
Agree and it's literally the only full length concert where we can say that

I hope that all those who lived through that time are in good health today, because I was born in '02 and I'm feel deeply sad that I didn't experience this! I love Linn so much ❤️ There's something fascinating about them and the joy they convey, and Linn, NO words! Drop dead gorgeous and talented... I want her back :( I wish we could have all of this in HQ one day, we deserve it. They were part of my childhood and will be part of my life forever. I've been a fan since 2017/18 and I don't regret it, thank god I paid the due attention to them

Such a pity that everyone only sees Linn, and not the beautiful Jenny. Anyways, nice to finally see a LIVE performance, not just pretending to a playback recording.

@@beastboynumberonefan The incident didnt effect their confidence, I know what Jenny has said in interviews in Swedish and she has never said that the home invasion effected her confidence or anything similar.
Vina del mar was in 1996, which is the same year that Linn wanted to leave the band. The reason why her performance is so exhausted is because she is exhausted. She never fronted the band after 1996.
So please, stop blaming everything on the home invasion, it was not as shocking to ace of base as many of you believe.
Linn wanted to leave since 93. In 95 she had a UK interview where she reveals she is sick of all this music business

Saw the concert in copehagen, 7 or 8 years old and had a huge crush on Linn haha
Live concert is something outstanding. Yes it's a vhs . The quality of sound is so-so. But it inspires a lot. They are so alive. Sing and dance great. Great show!

A crazy woman entered her family home with a knife in 1994. After that she started to fade away from the forefront and is living in her privacy somewhere.
A lot of things happened. In the end we now know that Linn never cared about becoming a star, nor about her fans, nor really making music.
We all miss her for good reason but I have mixed feelings about her
The band became too popular and she hated the music biz.

Always just heard their radio hits mid 90s... I Didn't know that they were such a cool band with so many other great songs. Linn and Jenny dressing like super heroes... I know bands change with time... It's just super cool to see them at this young & energetic point of their musical journey.

The natural sounding power and consistency in Linn's vocals while sounding like she isn't overly exerting herself, plus her accent along with the ability to seamlessly transition to different speeds, tones, and styles, all while also being able to be very graceful is how I would describe her amazing and unique vocals. Her vocals I find can also have a hypnotizing and soothing effect. Anyone know of any other singers who sing like her??? I don't think you can teach what she has.

You are a great man. Sad that I and we didn't hear them live in Latin America, with the exception they done in my neighbour country Chile. I was only 10 or 11 years old in 1993/1994 but I would have loved listening them live in a concert here. Greetings from Argentina

I would have expected to hear "The sign", "Don't turn around" and "Livin in danger". May be they were about to become big hits by those times?
Neither of them are on happy nation. (The EU version of the sign.) I am not sure the US release was even out at this point. This the earliest full set that is readily available. They just released an older performance on the 4 disc box for EU.
@Jorge, I believe this concert took place in early '93. The 'DTA' & 'TS' official videos were produced in late '93. I think the 'LID' official video was produced in late '94.

I have never thought about it but there probably is an encore because they didn't turn the stage lights on. If the video exists I don't know where it is.

This is like 18 months before their album got released in the United States as "The Sign" instead of "Happy Nation." If you poke around a bit Jenny did an interview with the same radio station that hosted this concert a year or two ago.
@@icecreamfromhell666 Thanks, I hope Ace Of Base is remembered by more people. I am glad I heard Happy Nation and another song as soundtracks in Xmen 97 and a Netflix movie or tv Series.

They must have been really attached to Voulez Vous Danser for some reason. Easily the worst song on the album, and they put it as the first track
You and I was god awful on the next album....
To each their own, I love voulez vous dancer and it’s one of my favourites from the album
