Ha man, I appreciate making the trip over. Glad it's working out for you. I find this easier than CC game because no spend requirements or managing hard pulls
I really like your idea for opening accounts in branch when you travel. I’ll be in TX and FL in the next few months and hadn’t thought about dropping in to get some of those bonuses I normally could achieve here in TN.
Btw Flagstar Bank is running a $500 biz checking promo. Available MI, IN, WI, OH. I have an in branch appt tomorrow morning. After watching this video, I picked up a best practice. I called every bank in the area. Found some interesting opportunities. Likely nothing to pull the trigger on, but a great new best practice. Thanks.
I did that one last year. Heads up that they wanted the business documents. Even for a sole prop. I had to get a DBA from my county. Your also supposed to have been mailed the flyer but they’re cool about it. I love the play sir. I haven’t cold called but that’s a good idea.
Great Video as always. So what I got out of it is when I travel I will make it a point to one carry my docs needed to open an account. Two Just walk in the banks and ask the question, Do you have any promotional offers to open up a bank account? i will go out soon in my area and try it out we have lots of credit unions around her in the PNW to try. Thanks again RJ
I keep a copy of my biz doc on my phone. You can email it to them in office. Aside from that it's ID and a credit card signed on the back will count for two forms of ID. Bring a little cash in case they need it for the opening deposit. Good hunting sir
Great video. I frequent doc but found out the hard way some promotions required the email or code sent directly from the promotion. I found out i wasnt eligible from a few promotion after the fact and it was frustrating.
It's funny, I've missed some that were labeled specific states and come to find out you could get in nationwide. It's not a perfect site by any means but I do get most of the offers we talk about here from there.
Does it hurt if you shut them down for example say I open 7 accounts for the bonsus and want to shut them down does that affect with my account in good standing.
Most accounts have a wait timer. we call it the early termination rules. So long as you don't shut it down before then you're good. I call it out in each vid if there is one. If there isn't one then I generally say keep it open 90 days to be safe.
@@RunonTheBank thanks for responding this is great. Will use the information. If you do not mine we asking how many bank accounts you have I only have two.
@@nolajohnson372 I have two keeper accounts; chase and ally bank. Last year total I did 69 accounts. This year I'm at 38 so far. I keep some accounts open if they have a referral program, if not they all get shut down eventually.
Salamander bank did not want to open in person while you were in front of them. Just seems like the world in going more automated and less of the human discretion - beyond as pre set math formulas - with trying to deal with people. I kinda like going in branch.
It was weird. The teller was nice, he also played the game. Think he subbed to the main channel. The bankers said no. Citi was more than happy to talk to me. In branch is fine, takes awhile but I work in banking so we always have something to talk about.
Thanks for tuning in! See one of the easiest $100 offers I found recently - ruclips.net/video/OfO_fFSCxHY/видео.html
Best part of video:
“Don’t go in there asking for bonuses! Instead inquiry about any available promotional offers.” 😁
I learn something new everyday 😆
Haha the looks I got when I said "hey do you have any signup bonuses" Now you don't have to be the weird guy
@@RunonTheBank - 👍🏼
It's crazy that I never even thought about all this until your channel. Thanks for the info + video!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who will be doing this now. Every bank bonus is the site I use to pick a few spots. Safe travels and good hunting
RJ,
You know I like to find bonuses and I share them with you if I can. Appreciate this video buddy. I love bonus hunting.
Lol you can always get a cameo in the vid sir. Start a news letter with bonuses perhaps?
@@RunonTheBank oh RJ I do need to think of something. Hmm. That is a interesting thought about a news letter..hmm.

@@RunonTheBank I took the DBA from my county with me. They were quite kind. The cold calls was a great learning experience for me.
I'm gonna take a trip for a wedding in Austin Texas early next year I'm definitely gonna look to hit up some Texas specific bank bonuses.
That's a great activity to suggest to the bachelor party lol. Have fun, report back, and good hunting
You’re doing too much legwork for us !!! 😂 they’re gonna have to shut this whole industry down bc of you and dr of credit 😂. You’re saints
Haha I have to live up to the channel name
Love your channel.
Great stuff brother.
Appreciate you my guy, have a great weekend
I like using the burner iCloud "hide my email" for these banks. dump the email when you're done w the bank
Makes sense. If not, all you get is marketing junk. Maybe two offers a year turn out to be good

Great stuff.
Appreciate it sir, good hunting out there
I'm looking for a new player #2, my current one doesn't do the bonuses with me 😞
Ha we could start a churning dating app with a platonic option I suppose

@@RunonTheBank wow I know it works.
So I suppose is OK to open an account in branch at a different state when there is no bank presence in your home state.
Can't say that every bank is cool with it but I have done it a few times with no issues.

You da man dog. You da man!!
Lol thanks man. Hope it's helping you cash in
The only problem with this hobby is that it’s made me care a lot less about credit card bonuses. $200? Heck I get that basically every payday now….😎
I find this more fun than cards. Less spend and hard pulls to manage. Cards are still a good compliment to this game
