You kind of didn't answer about Alayna and Willow.
You 3 not filming together can be because of the pandemic, because Alayna moved, because you grew apart and aren't interested in collaborating on RUclips videos anymore, or because you all hate each other now.
What do you think of Alayna coming out as lesbian?

lol agree, love when the questions answered are actually new info and insightful or honest rather than continuing to dodge it--unless there's something that needs to still be avoided a little, like not naming names. we gotta respect people and boundaries. :)
also seriously, take the time on out online! it's awesome and i hope that most of us know that it's a passion project that takes A LOT of work, so whenever and however it continues it'll be great. :)
and also, just wrt the last question (mostly for other people, just thinking some thoughts out loud lol): i think ppl get VERY into parasocial relationships, and while it's nice to be invested and express care and concern, there's a line--and i think that's one of the lines. wanting info about someone's personal relationships is uh. not cool imho. unless it's being offered up publicly, just assume that something's changed either permanently or for the time being, and let it lie and move on, y'know? doesn't make someone shitty for wanting to know, i get the impulse with how much info we all share on social media, etc., and human connections are important! but that sort of thing feels like there could be negativity or pain attached, and i don't think people are obligated to share that or entitled to know that info. and if there's nothing dramatic, then it's usually boring--as is the case here! lol--and so why bother asking/knowing anyway? lol i just assume it's p run of the mill and if it's Dramatic or Actually Terrible then info will come out in time, but that's for the ppl involved to decide, y'know?

I completely relate to your having to shift opinions about friends based on their actions over the past year with respect to the pandemic. I recently found out that one of my friends doesn't want to get vaccinated. I had previously thought they were avoiding it because they've been so busy. But I came to find out that they actually were never planning on getting vaccinated. I know there are legitimate reasons some people may be hesitant, but the reason my friend gave was not one that I can respect. They're not anti-vax. They are just kind of content with continuing to wear their mask and maintain distance from others. It really seems to boil down to their being uninterested in/apathetic about getting vaccinated.
I was devastated to learn this about them, but what really hurt read my realization that their tendency to retreat from problems and let other people shoulder the burden for handling things isn't really new. I'd recognized this before, and while it's led to some disappointments, it was never anything that made want to distance myself from them...
So I'm really struggling with where I stand with this friend right now. I don't want to lose their friendship, but at the same time, I don't like the person they've shown me they are with this apathy. I haven't spoken to them in weeks because I don't know what to say to them. When we last talked, they said that they don't respond well to peer pressure and suggested that if I were to continue to press the issue, they would only be more resistant to getting vaccinated. Unfortunately, I've lost sleep over how to broach the issue with them again. I have wondered if I should just let it go, but I just feel a sense of responsibility to everyone who's lost someone dear to them due to covid. Like, the lesson from this past year should've been that we need to look out for one another... And to me, that includes talking to our friends about getting vaccinated.
Sorry for the long comment. This is all to say that I appreciate your remarks on the matter of friendships shifting over the course of the pandemic.

Attitudes shift friendships, absolutely. I was friends with a person I worked with for a long time before she criticized me for speaking to someone she disapproved of based on race and, yes, she openly acknowledged it was racist. I was honestly too stunned to say much; I just left. We weren't friends after that. It's like finding out someone you like and respect is a Donald Trump fan... there just no going back.

I think adjusting your understanding/view of people based on their behavior during Covid is beyond reasonable. People's actions are based on who they are inside, right or wrong, good or bad; we're all a mixture of both, but some poor choices are more harmful than others. Doing bad things doesn't make someone a bad person, and we don't have to cut off people who take missteps, but there's something to be said for seeing people for who they are and reorienting accordingly. Good on you.

I feel the very same about getting vaccinated, honestly. There was this kinf of excitement in the air, I feel. Anyway I know I felt that way. And people were truly nice through the whole process and I chatted a little with the girl who gave me the shot and she waved goodbye when she saw me leaving the place after the 15 mins wait and I got so happy and smiley. I was really happy to be finally vaccinated and in a way, it was the first I got to interact with people other than my very close family (I live alone and work from home, so I was allowed to chose one "family bubble/household" that I could see) except maybe some really quick stuff at the grocery store or at the pharmacy, so... :) Also, I live in Montreal and the vaccination centre is at the Olympic Stadium. It's the biggest vaccination centre in the city and in the whole province and because of the aura of the place also, it felt even bigger of an event. It's so big and there's so many flags and boards with history facts and next to the site is the botanical garden and it doesn't feel like a hospital at all so it felt strange to be there to getvaccinated but it felt good and almost close to a "patriotic act" of some kind haha xDI'm almost excited to go back hahaha
And as for the side effects, I also experienced some, while my Mom and my sister didn't at all (except the sore arm of course.) I felt super super tired, like sick kind of tired and slept almost a whole day. It only lasted one day and then I was fine though. And yeah, the arm situation... Wow, I wasn't expecting this kind of pain hahaha Like I thought it would feel like a bruise a little, but I wasn't expecting to have such a hard time moving my arm and showering and putting on a shirt like that for 2 solid days xD

I had to wait 11 months to be reunited with my girlfriend who lives in a different continent. I took PCR tests before and after arriving and stayed there for months, complying with health safety measures. Just saying travel is sometimes essential, it can reunite families - we all know lesbians love their long distance relationships.

@@Tee-xt1cv That's not true. There are many medical professionals and scientists speaking out about this exact thing. One of which is the doctor that I shared a link to above and if you go to his newer video he also shares many different scientists and links that are talking about this exact thing. Why on earth would a vaccine offer more protection than getting the actual virus? Think about it... it doesn't make sense. Of course I'm not saying to go out and get infected with covid but if you have had the unfortunate circumstances of getting the virus it DOES offer antibodies. You can get an antibody test done to see if you have protection already then when and IF new covid variants come about you can contemplate getting a vaccine when they make one to cover the new variants because as of now the vaccines only cover protection against the variant that came out months and months ago. The vaccine that is out now doesn't do jack for any new variants that may come about. This is exactly why there will most likely be a booster shot in 6-12 months but until then and until I'm shown that my antibodies are not useful, I won't be getting the vaccine. It is SCIENCE!

    • @Tee-xt1cv
      @Tee-xt1cv 3 года назад

@@itscool770 It makes sense there's a wide range of natural sickness - from mild to severe, severe producing more antibodies than mild sickness. Vaccines produce strong and consistent responses across the board. The vaccines also do have an amount of efficacy against variants too, higher than you may think. If you don't want to get it and you've still got antibodies, I guess so be it. As long as you don't discourage others from getting it.

Just something to think about… if you are the type of person who will judge someone or cut them out of your life just because of their personal decision to travel or how they love their life then is that really a good quality to have as a person? I don’t mean to be rude it’s just something to self reflect.

Well she did say if she hasn't posted with someone in a long time it means she doesn't interact with them any more and they haven't posted together in a long time so...

"What travelling during a world wide pandemic says about what kind of person you are" WHAT?! That is a horrible way to determine who to be friends with. Travelling does not even spread the most covid cases so that's ridiculous...why focus on travelling? Did you stop being friends with people who went out to places that were "non essential"... I'd suggest taking a closer look at your inability to have a more nuanced approach.

@@lauracurriero303 right? Like if everyone was dropping dead from it I'd understand but like a 98 percent survival rate ... come on.
