  • This video describes my first experience riding a snowmobile. A friend of mine invited me to ride along with him near Cameron Pass, CO to the Long Draw Reservoir to do a bit of riding and some ice fishing.
I absolutely loved it!! Being able to access the backcountry in snowmobiles and viewing this amazing landscape was breathtaking. It was about a 45-minute ride from the trailhead to the Long Draw Reservoir. There were stunning views, fun twists and turns, cruising up and down hills and finally ending up at the reservoir to do some ice fishing.
We were not able to catch any fish, which is not unusual for me. I like to fish but am not very good at. I just like being in the outdoors and the relaxing nature of fishing. And I could not complain with the scenery as we were fishing. Again, it was beautiful! The weather was fantastic, and we just enjoyed the day out on the water.
I also had a little fun with my drone and catching some footage of my friend on his snowmobile and cruising around the reservoir. We had such a good time and hope to do it again before Spring fully hits the higher elevations here in Colorado.
    Thanks for watching!
