This playthrough is being played and recorded in these hours. This is my very first time trying out the tracks on Proud Mode, but I do want to try and get Full Chain whenever I can. At the same time though, I want the whole game to be uploaded quickly, so I'll return to some of the tracks and upload them separately once the playthrough is done to complete more challenges.

Can you give any tips how to get the mission score in Vector to the Heavens? I'm barely getting 7.8 million, its damn hard.
@@Grzesiek4Ever I'm not everglow but something that worked for me was putting on headphones, and turning all sounds that where not the actual song down to 1 or 2 volume and the music to 5 in the settings. When your able to hear the music better, it becomes easier to time notes better because in this piece the timing of the yellow circles (when to press) seems a little off at times or shows up to late for you to respond properly (this was true for me at least but I dont have the best reflexes so that could play a part). So using the music instead of the visuals to know when to press worked better for the more tricky places for me. There are some off notes that don't seem to really match the song which you need to learn by memorising . But for all the others using sound over visuals as main indicator worked better. For me at least. So tip: Headpones, music at 5, the rest much lower.

One of the things I love about this game is the 3d backgrounds. They are lookin' crisp and they flesh out the map. As a major Kingdom Hearts fan, that excites me both visually and aesthetically.
Vector to the Heavens is such a poggers song, ngl.

I literally started to cry when I realized it was the original DS version of Vector to the Heavens. The ReMix version is great, but the DS version just hits differently
Vector to the heavens keeps dropping my inputs at the same exact place every time and it’s so frustrating because you have to play like a god to clear the proud score mission.
Oh my god, someone else is having the same issue! I've done this FUCKING song 100 goddamn times trying to make it more than 10 seconds in and that first double-note Minute Bomb in the opening of the song fails EVERY time. Literally, every, time. The double-Minute-Bombs seem impossible to hit.

@@lostchild00 so I'm on ps4, and I've found that not relying on x fixes it a bit. And then, inversely, on simultaneous targets, not relying on L1&R1 but like L1 and x or R1 and x works a bit better too (for keeping the chain at least).

@@lostchild00 it could possibly be that. Idk. Mine always does it in the exact same spots so I've tried to be conscious of it and just work around it as best I can. And it's not just this track either 😅

I agree, but I suspect Covid affected their ability to finalize adding more songs or bosses, as well as other aspects of the game.
It was made easier because nomura himself said that he wants the game to be fair for everyone, especially non-rythm gamer. Critical mode probably would be harder

It's easyish on medium. A few button presses on easy. But on proud, the gameplay is not consistent with the motifs. Not good for the KH fan that has these songs memorised!
@@RegenWasTaken It isn't that anyone "sucks at these kinds of games". I'm having the same issue with this ong, specifically, and I've done proud mode on several other songs before this without running into the dropped-input issue. I've tried VotH on proud 100 times and literally not once have I ever hit that first double-Minute-Bomb. It's barely 10 seconds into the song. I'm more than prepared every single time. And yet I CANNOT hit those notes, no matter what timing I try. At some point, "bad a the game" goes out the window. If I can do proud mode on other songs but this one, simple note pair 10 seconds into the song has eluded me a hundred times in a row, there's something screwy going on.

Any recommendations or advice to those pulling their hair out trying to complete proud mode?
Play the same song over and over until you get those tough parts down. I played a shit ton of Elite Beat Agents, which is another rhythm game, and you pick up eventually. Part of it is trying to figure out which part of the song you’re listening to, so it can be trial and error. Lastly, those really fast ones can be done easier by alternating L and R buttons instead of mashing X or whatever button.

@@chrisgranger5477 Whatever’s most comfortable for you. If it’s not easy to alternate L and R for the entire song (it’s not for me) then don’t. I just think it’s only a good idea for the really fast notes.

I bought this game like a month ago and I tried like 56 times to beat the Vector to the Heavens level on Proud mode but after that I just rage quitted and switched the difficulty back to Standard mode, that level was so hard on Proud mode😡😡
Vector to the Heavens is great. I’ve seen so many remixes done for this song and they are all wonderful. But man it brings back memories of crying at the end of the game.

I know what you mean. That was the second-to-last mission I completed in World Tour other than making it through One-Winged Angel at 50% health without items on Proud.
Can anyone tell me how to use the sun and gems? I’m kind of stuck on that part can’t seem to figure it out no matter what I do so I figured I would ask around to see if anyone knows how to do that. If you could give me some directions I would greatly appreciate it thank you very much :-)
