    Hey, great to see this - I'm looking to buy the same and fit a black box. Which set would you recommend for simplicity as they don't offer the black box controller. Ie which of their controller options would be easiest to swap out for a black box?

      Hi, the best option is send email to Marvin (support email Yuyong website),
      i ask him to have regular high torque nema motor, not close loop, and i take the less expensive controller at the moment,
      and if you plan to use the BlackBox order a 24v powersupply, Queenant use 36v
      why i don't take the mechanical kit instead of the full kit is with full kit he send all stop switch, cables/wires, connector and all you need, installing the Blackbox is very simple , way more simple than build the controller yourself , dont forget to take a look on Facebook community page , a lot of help
      good choice , its probably the best cnc for the price if build it yourself dont scare you
      and if you need help with queenant and Blackbox feel free to ask
      EDIT, if you want keep it way more simple, order the queenant without spindle and VFD and order one from PWNCNC, a bit more expensive the PWNCNC kit is really plug and play, everything is configured and ready to work and its by far better quality spindle kit, its what i did ,

    after a few months, how do you love the QueenAnt pro V2, i am undecide between this and the ultimate Bee. how it goes in aluminum?

      @upsnef11  10 месяцев назад +1

      im not the best to do a review or comparison vs the qeen bee because i never play with the Queen Bee and i came from a Shapeoko 3 XXL, ne the best for rigidity
      but what i can say is its im so happy to take the Queen Ant, simply the rigidity give me way more precision and the finish of acrylic is way better than the XXL, for alu, its like butter , again the finish is not perfect but so great vs before, the only thing is be ready to build it, and take your time to build it with a square, very important for result on cutting

    What size frame is this? And how fast were you moving around? Looks like a nice piece. I’m torn between this machine and the bulkman ultimate bee. 1500x1500….

    • @upsnef11
      @upsnef11  Год назад +1

      this one is 1000 x 1000 i work only with 24"x24" inch acrylic and aluminum sheets
      i set it to move at 3500 on a 24v psu and Blackbox controller, but i swap it to a cnc3d nighthawk controller and a 36v psu, im sure i can go higher but no need
      and if you plan to go with a 1500 x 1500, buy this one instead because for long X this one is way more stiff with double beam on X and 3 rails and the main reason is 16mm ball screw on all axis instead of 12mm who i think a bit small on a 1500x 1500

      @@upsnef11yea the queen ant looks like the superior machine, I’d like to order it with servos instead of steppers but it doesn’t look like they offer that on there website. Are servos a direct replacement? I mean as far as bolting up in place of the steppers? Or would I have to dril etc?

    • @upsnef11
      @upsnef11  Год назад

      @@thedude6650 the full kit come with CLOSE LOOP nema 23 motors (thats you call servo?) but you can order only the mechanical without steppers and controller, the bolt spacing are for nema 23 , any motors with nema 23 bolts spacing this can be installed, i choose open loop stepper for now because i will upgrade to Masso Touch G3 with Masso close loop motor shortly , but for now i have no need for that

      @@thedude6650 yes same as Onefinity and same hybrid motors , but very expensive
      for support, from Yuyoung i dont know for other people but for me it was perfect, a really good support, answer email in less than hour and they fix my issue (custom open box and lost Z axis ball screw ) they sent me new one with fast shipping free of charge
