The 3:00 to 4:30 sequence is the literal perfect example of Old Man Coffee, you could not create a better one in perfect laboratory conditions. He's an older gentleman, counting his chips, slamming them down while he does it like he's disgusted about something while the action is on him and he's not even facing a bet yet, he's holding a coffee in one hand while he tries to discourage someone from bluffing him with this over the top acting job and he has a middling pair of aces, which is the perfect bluff catcher for an OMC. He knows you want to go all-in, and he knows he's calling, he just doesn't want you to do it because he doesn't want to have to call and be wrong, but either way, he's still always calling. He even makes a pithy statement when he finally checks, "Checkraise!" instead of "Czechoslovakia" or something stupid. It's like seeing a Lion or Gazelle in their natural habitat, or a fish swimming down the river, knowing they feel more comfortable than you've ever been in your entire life.
Funny comment overall but the fact he snap called means you gotta give him more credit than a typical OMC. It seems like he might have been inducing the bluff from Luda
You’re a shining example of what’s wrong with not just poker but the world in general.
If you were too “go” you wouldn’t be missed
@@jjjrjjjr1 yeah man, you’re right, the problem with the world is jokes and somebody should probably kill me for making them. Brilliant take.
@@mileshkang OMC’s are known for being tight, not calling stations
@@houndofzeus OMC are tight. But they are stations against young players with TP because they always think you're running a bluff on them. Especially the ones that are playing on their enormous pensions+SS and are still making 6 figures a year while they're retired lmao.
Fancy play syndrome. Instead of folding Q3 to a raise, our hero decides to 3 bet and then ends up in a bluffing spiral.
Bro I’ve been there and this comment is going to save me money in the future to just let these go. 🙏🏼
I always get into trouble when I 3 bet light bet the flop and a brick comes or good card for my range I fire a second barrel and other brick comes and I'm like fuck the pots so big and just fire away my stack.
Chris is no man's hero
our hero chooses having fun
I'm here for the comments about what the "chart" said to do and that in the long run it's a winning play....
Classic cooler
Lol this isn’t a cooler … do you even know poker?
IKR! This is gotta be the sickest cooler I’ve seen in a while… like HOW does this happen?!
@@toddsmith3663 Google sarcasm
@@bradboetig75 ya you really put together in two words he is being sarcastic huh? Ur awesome man… lemme guess you know the winning little numbers for tonight? Hahah
The hand plays itself
When I see Luda punt his stack I can’t help myself but yell out LUDAAAFIISSHHHHHH
Luda is the worst - awful plays on the flop, the turn, and the river. He makes Rampage look like a super tight, solid player! 😂
Yes!! The only hands he wins are bluffing....
He's an arse...thinks he's this smart poker player...I'm glad Mike had his number....
He always wants to sit there with a cocky attitude like he's better than, and he will always buy in more to appear as he has alot of chips, he also uses his chips to push bluffing, there is a few here that are afraid to put the chips in and always are shorter stacked, he knows who they are and preys on them
He also grabbed Johnnys chips, think yellow ones and used them for himself without asking him, Johnny appeared pissed but didn't say anything. .
He just has this sneaky, conniving aura, energy about him.
Your correct on his play...good point
Says your local 1/2 losing player 😂
I’m surprised Mike called so fast. Seemed like he was trying to induce a check back cuz he didn’t want to have to call a river bet.
Think long, think wrong. I think he was in auto call mode, especially since Luda will blast off so much. That was one of the best rivers Mike could get after calling the turn so he just went with it.
Same I thought mike was trying to do everything possible for it to check but maybe he has a long history with Luda. Guy is a punt happy player very aggro
I think he knew Luda was going all in no matter what so he took his time to think about that decision ahead of time and he came to the conclusion that he was bluffing beforehand
After calling the turn he’s not folding especially after it pairs the lowest card on the board
I think he called so fast because he had already decided what he was going to do facing a jam after he tanked before he checked to Luda.
" the KEY to poker is aggression, the SECRET to poker is folding ". The ROOSTAH.
What an incredible tank by Mike there. Felt out the situation and essentially snap called with such a weak hand. Great poker
It was horrible. He basically tried to get the most aggro, punty player in the game to check. But you keep thinking what you think
@@kennedybrendon8664 not at all. He tanked so the punty guy would THINK the bluff would get through. He snap called dude. Mike knew
Agree once he called turn he was not never calling the river
@@kennedybrendon8664 He tried to get the punty player to THINK he wanted a check. More evident after the snap call. But you keep thinking what you think
@@kennedybrendon8664 is it really horrible if he was right?
Mark even says.."Put on your sunglasses. Your eyes are stressed, they saying call me".....that was just a bad night for Luda, he didn't help the situation any, he tried to BLEFF waaaay too many times....and got called in almost every bluff
We're in May and Luda won the Punter of the year award !! 😂
Don't bluff the calling station.
Do not bluff the calling station. Do not bluff the calling station. Do not bluff the calling station.
Surprised Luda counted his chips after Mike kind of demanded it...
Migh be the stupidest punt I’ve ever seen on stream, especially with a garbage hand like Q3. Luda just doesn’t know when to stop sometimes.
i agree and he looked so weak and sick to his stomach
i know right
Just punish mike by value betting lighter
I like the way Mike played that river. Nicely done.
I think Mike is doing an old trick to figure out if your opponent is bluffing. The delay before betting all-in on the river sealed the deal for Mike. Mike indicated he was planning to call, causing Luda to freeze and think before shoving. If he had it he would be excited to get all his money in the middle and would prob subconsciously do it a lot faster with a lot more confidence.
This trick even comes up in the old Mike Caro video about tells - reach for your stack as your opponent is betting and watch for a subtle stop in the movement which often indicates a bluff.
Mike has GREAT read and balls of steel! LOL
Mike is a calling station, now everyone at the table knows
Just because someone calls down a maniac does not mean he will call YOU down, people are much too quick to put a tag on a player based on one hand
Luda is a classic example of what Ryan Depaulo refers to as , “a wild Asian” 😂😂
Maniac using extremely bad hand to triple barrel bluff versus calling machine. Solid poker all around!
Mike is a calling station. Plays like this will get you paid in the future. He calls a lot. Just look at the hand when he hero called A high against Garrett’s full house. You can print money off this guy
How much many have you won off of him?
@@robamiri9665 Dude he's a calling station come on now, we've seen it so many times.
W
“I said check raise” 🤣
lmaooo man this was filthy. Especially cause he did all of that to get him to check, man the balls for shoving. What a play but what an even better call!!
The Impatience of those not in this hand to be over with, is palpable.
I mean, DAMN, Thida! What a bombshell.
Mike ain't scared
Lol the shirts.
Definitely thought about the call before the check lol
3:00 my favorite pair
Had to ..ahem.. DOUBLE check!
nice stack
luda never knows when to change gears. bet bet bet all he knows
Other than opening A8o to 4x pot from UTG, have to say I love Mike's line vs a maniac. Playing against a maniac is easy, just call him down he will always have too many bluffs. Honestly you can call him down with K high here.
Lol and calling the three bet with such a dominated range? What do you play? Nl 10?
@@rifsoneh your range isn't dominated if villain is 3betting this wide
@@adamshort2534 Right...like you JUST established that you make this play specifically against a known maniac, and this guy just spits back A-B-C, GTO nonsense as if you were playing Zoom online. 🤣
that opening was edgy AF
Great call Mike (Y)
Man. I would hate to play with these guys. Calling an all in with a pair and being right. Ouch.
Can he ask for a count when he is not facing a bet ? I mean normally people ask to see the big chips but can he actually demand a clear count ? Just wondering.
No wonder when G-man is at the table he eats these guys alive.
Mike is becoming an absolute legend ……….. super old g
I saw this one live. I was 100% sure they'd make a video of it because it was Chris punting. 😁
Wow you're amazing dude
When the flush completes and the board pairs but you still sniff it out and snap call a jam with a weak ace is an awesome read and Luda needz to change his strategy up, his only plan is BET, BET, GLASSES ON JAM
Awesome read 😂😂😂.
He can’t read shit! He is a calling machine!
You should have the nuts when you plying against him and not try to bluff him!
Nice heady play, he was bluff catching all the way.
Love it!
Poor Luda is so horrible bluffing...He has to understand that a bluff has to make sense. 🤦♂️😂
Mike is a playing the game from the streets. He was evaluating his opponent and noticed his openent was trying to hide when he put on his glasses. He sized him up on the turn and already made up his mind on the river. (Hence the insta call)
He’s street smart and knows when someone’s weak.
No GTO in that play! Worked like a charm
This is the Luda we all love and know
The fact he said check raise at the end was classic. Meaning any raise you put in im just going to raise you back. He went all in so by default thats a call since he cant raise. Not sure if it was binding or not but still was great.
Bad bet by Luda if it was binding imo
Most often when someone has that inflection in their voice like it’s a question “77” they’re bluffing
When I saw "PUNT" in the title I already knew it was gonna be Chris. He never knows when to shut it down.
Worse than Rampage
Quite the call
Mike nia is crushing currently
You can't bluff a drooler who opens A8o utg and snap calls a 3 bet lmao 🤣
and then donk bets the flop too
@@ryanscottcampbell9085 agree w both assessments of Mike, however this is Luda Chris lol?! Would say Mike played/read Chris to a T and got max value out of marginal hand out of position. He would never do this w Garrett, Nick,…
@@greglist2991 yeah i dont really know luda chris's style at all. if mike really knows that luda chris is just way way too wide all the time then that donk makes sense, but with most players their 3-betting range here is either destroying you or just gonna fold if you donk
@@greglist2991 Nick? LOL hes pure garbage.
@@greglist2991 gtfo he didn't assess shit
I have top pair so I'm calling off my whole retirement fund bc I have top pair idc who you are or what you have I call
That was just...ludicrous.
The guy told him he's was going to call. Fired 2 barrels and he called. He's obviously calling the river.
I always make sure to punt off my my first buyin within the first 5 hands
J123, i usually lose mine to a mean suckout setup!
this is like watching grass grow
It was a good read
He read him play off the bat he even said check all in. Was a bad bluff
Punt of the day I must of miss read it 😳
That "check raise" was as low AF. Cowards do that!
What a call
Loving the T shirts!!!!!! YO MAMA!
Read him like a book
wow says check raise for a check and gets jammed on and he basically snap-calls? WTF? In Elkys words..."So Seck"
I don't get it...wasn't that a check-raise in the dark, so an auto-call if shoved? So why all-in when he knows he's beat...that seems to be a horrible -20k thrown away
You literally just defined "punt" for me. I also spent entirely too long googling poker acronyms after reading thru comments...
Stupid name, stupid plays. What a shocker!
Everyone knows Ludas game plan, i dunno how he don't know they know hes a bluffer.
Some questionable chip play at 2:16
Juanda had trips!
There's a reason Luda gets his clothing at Ross.
Spade blocker snap call
Fish vs bigger fish. It's for you to decide who's the bigger fish.
WP Mike !!
The chip runner is smoking hot.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 thank you come again
The (not so) GTO kid vs OMC.
OMC is drawing dead in the long run.
Calls a check raise on the river?
Mike is pretty good in these marginal hands when to call
That's hurt hahaha
Chinese guy named Luda Chris, figured it’d be spelled “Ruda Chrissah”
Terrible river bet, Luda is representing such a narrow range of hands in that spot while his opponent based of the turn action and then the board pairing is never folding. Luda wasn’t even blocking spades there. Terrible shove.
luda was representing a flush and that's it. completely donked it.
`Im allin`
No, you are allout.
Gut feelings are the best..
Nice hand
Bruh Mike called the check raise on flop, called the big bet on turn, and Luda thought a shove there would get a fold. ROFL how does this guy get to keep playing these stakes
I think he's using his money to buy the chips.
He's a whale. Easy charity
Literally dug his own grave 😂
Really bad play. Funny to see tho. Love to see super aggressive players get caught in the cookie 🍪 jar
you cant "demand" anyone to count their chips
And that’s why you don’t 3bet light from ep
Luda's bluff was just too obvious. That move might have worked against drunk guys at 2AM but not at this table.
it wouldnt even work against drunk guys at 3 am
Once u dont figure out who is fish, then u must be the FISH
collusion at 2:22? What is the guy with the hat doing there? saying he folded an ace?
Trying to bluff the unbluffable…
Word of advice, don’t raise A8o UTG.
check raise lmao
Mike is the GOAT
Sexton ?
Putting on those stupid glasses was a major tell. I’m calling no matter what after that.
Value beats bluffing
He got owned
I just want Luda to have a value hand like AK here one time and have the punishment go the other way
I don't
Lesson of the day, don't make good plays vs calling station donks, you'll get called down Xd
Luda will end up like Dwan, 10 years older than his real age.
I don’t even know how a player this bad has that much money. Must’ve borrowed it off some poor sod.
Is it a rule that players have to play with the chips and show off finger dexterity…?
Luda said... 77?. Like it was a question
Doug Polk does not approve of this punt. What a whale
