Interesting: A well-known financial personality gives similar advice. A prenup isn’t as much about protecting a couple from each other, but to protect them from the crazies that come out of the woodwork.
Robert loved Mike already. That’s what I always thought. He knew good people always have a large target on their back. And well, Mike didn’t really have the most conventional background

I’m pretty sure this is not the case, he is worried Mike will at some point do something that puts his livelihood in jeopardy (like practicing law without a license) and without a prenup, Rachiel’s assets would be included in a suit. I don’t think it’s about Rachael going after Mikes assets in a divorce, but rather protecting Rachael from anything Mike had to do to get to where he is.

Why is there always an argument about a prenup in a tv show where 2 characters get married Its adds nothing of value to the overall story 99% of the time just a 1 episode " you dont trust me, i would never do that"
I don't know why prenups are viewed so badly. I think prenup is great protection for women. If you're with a guy on the come up who loves you as a woman, he'll put it in the prenup thay he'll give you the moon and stars if things don't work out right.
They’re viewed badly because the person who reacts badly wants to be able to take resources if they choose to divorce you and a prenup ruins that. Saying “You don’t trust me?” Has nothing to do with it, if you don’t trust the person then you wouldn’t marry them. Same way you would have car insurance, you’re not planning on getting into a car accident but if you did, you’re protected. Marriage is suppose to be forever, only time it shouldn’t be valid anymore is if someone break the vows or passed away.
He is willing to accept him but has to make it clear there will be a time where he has to cross lines and if those lines endanger his girl he's gonna be in some deep shit
@@leeroyuckface6893 If he does I wouldn’t have cast him. When ur that big you have to wear oversized clown suits and it looks weird next to Harvey and Mike with perfectly tailored suits.
@mikecantreed he's a very talented actor. He's not wearing an oversized clown suit, he's wearing a suit that fits him. Being this obsessed with another man's weight is weirdo behavior at its finest
The huge ego from him is disgusting - coming to his elder, who is also his future father in law, telling him that he's ignorant of your spectacular character, handing him some papers that "prove" you're better than him, and trying to walk out without listening to him because you're so super smart and don't need to hear anyone else's perspective or learn from anyone else because you've graced him with your presence is enough for him to ignore all his years of experience and wisdom.
In real life a lawyer would completely understand all of this and respect a request for a prenup
