Thank you for the video. I saw your FS Crew video yesterday, then purchased Ezdok, spent 5 hours trying to get exdok to work. Found your video on you tube, within 4 minutes bingo... thanks again
You make so much easier to set up rather than me reading and drawing a "Huh?" blank look and auguring in! I really appreciate your efforts and dedication to helping us older and "what does this button do?" fly by trial pilots! Great big like!! :)
I've been flight simming since the green screen days and have recently purchased the PMDG737NGX. Found your uploads by mistake but so pleased that I did. Love the quality of the video, the information given and a nice touch of humour. Great job, keep it up. Subscribed.
EZDOK is absolutely the best addon for FSX. I feel like I can finally learn how to fly the planes without the hassle of moving around the cockpit with clunky controls. It aldso has the added bonus of serving as a wonderful filming and photography tool. Absolutely brilliant. Unfortunatley it took me a while to get past the bug of creating a new camera with addon planes (no shake once binded to key), but once I figured out I could import an existing camera, then clone it, the problem was solved.
Froogle. Thank you, that video was fantastic. I've had EZDOK for ages and since getting TrackIR I'd been using that instead of EZDOK. This was a great video on how I can use them together to get the views I want (PIC, radio panel, external views etc.). I'd never really got either add-on to do quite what I wanted in the past. Thanks again.
Hey its just a cool addon. Could you tell me how we can look from the beginning of the runway? Looking to flying airplanes overhead? Please tell me I ve liked it. Please send me a message back
Phew!! A bit too quick for me. I have been perplexed by EZDOK for a few years and still haven't cracked it. |I'll need to run this five times to keep up with you. But a great clear speaking voice. Thanks.
Such a thorough and yet easy to understand tutorial... Cannot thank you enough! Just one question, how do I get the standard tower views? I use them a lot and can't seem to figure out how to get them back since purchasing and setting up EZdoc.
I've tried several times before to do it (and your tutorial is EXCELLENT btw) so maybe Im doing something wrong, but it shouldn't be this hard. Im used to learning more complicated applications than this, and even the DCS sims dont have a dedicated camera app like this but can still get by with simple short cut keys for a free camera, offset camera to the plane ect With this, I always end up with a camera in the middle of the jet and it not saving what I have done. I'll keep tryin..thx!
Thanks a Million Excellent Infomercial. My Eyes were Open and The Dummy has Awaken. You Make It Look So Easy and User Friendly. Thanks Again..Must be exhausting for You...But Keep Up The Good News/Work....
Make sure you are pressing number 2 on the keypad on your computer, not the row of numbers above the letter keys. Make sure that Num Lock is turned on. Beyond that, consult the support forums.
I do like all your videos. they are really quite helpful. Thank you. I just picked up EZCA and am wondering how you can float around in the cockpit as smoothly as you do in the 3D look as you did in the beginning of this video. I went through all the documentation and didn't really find any good explanation, unless I missed something. I'm going to go over the manual again and check. Again, thanks for all you hard work.
I can't move around with the mouse don't know why..When I press the middle button I hear the sound but can't move..and if I try to press space and move around I can look around but it set itself back.so I can't set my views
Now for your problem, there are things you need to do yourself, first, download the latest version of ezdok - the one you have is too old. Next check the cameras are in the active rotation as I said in a previous comment to you. Next check its running by opening up the studio and clicking a camera to see if the view moves. Finally if all that gets you nowhere please google ezdok support forums, and head over to there to ask the developers themselves to help you.
Aircraft cameras are external cameras locked to the aircraft's current position. They are great for setting up view cameras while you fly. The world cameras are free form and can be placed anywhere, good for cinematic flyby's etc. I don't have much luck with them personally
At least a week away. I have the Sabre in this video to do, plus a written review of a Stearman that I might film, plus the full review of the Coolsky DC-9 and the second mission of the Black Shark, but with human co-pilots. Lots to do. I will try my very very best to get to it. I may even cover the AoA training program for the 737 which I managed to get my grubby mitts on to let you know if it's worth it. OH, and there's a 146 collection to look at.
Clear, concise tutorial. I was waiting for EZdock v2, since even the patch is 2 years old!But may go ahead and get v1.15 and patch it to v1.17. I assume thats your version in the vid? Thanks again for the tutorial.
Edit mode is number pad 2. If that's not working then make sure num lock is on. If that doesn't work then you may have rebound the key. If that doesn't work I would reach out to EzDok's technical support.
Just came across your video and it sounds far easier than having to read a bunch of manuals that leads to confusion. I've finally picked up on EZDOK, followed your instructions on unbinding keys, etc. Page up/down works perfectly but every time I try to focus on a particular panel, the view centers me again to the pilot view. Any insights? Thanks in advance!
@7700Purplexity to put it simply you just need to move the aircraft to where you want the view (slew mode helps), right click and add the view then restart fsx and you have a movable view there :)
Hi Froogle. great tutorial. May I ask what program you are using to record your computer screen and your voice while flying simultaneously? If is FRAPS? If so, how do you do it without the dramatic drop in frame rates?
EZDOK does not automatically configure your views. Running the config will often set them up, but not always. It is more to tell EZDOK that you have a new aircraft it should recognize. It's then up to you to create your views as I walk you through doing in this video.
The two are completely different. EZDOC is a camera add on that can simulate effects on a pilots point of view. Accufeel is an environmental enhancer. The two work great together.
I read down threw the comments. It is amazing the amount of people who do not read the manuals provided. I often wonder how some people can even start up a free flight. Hang on, even get dressed in the morning. I mean Froo just talked you threw the steps. Do you need him to go to your house and set it up for you?
Can you do a video where you set up an locked canera at the beginning of the runway "spotting view" so that planes fly above you and you see the landing from behind...?
If you have read the manual and done everything it recommends in terms of keybindings etc , then all I can suggest is you hit their support forums. It's a tricky piece of software to get to grips with, hence the video, but it's certainly not a POS.
You need to set up the views, as in this video, for each and every aircraft. For the transitions, you need to make sure the cameras are set as PTP (Point To Point) to get that floaty effect.
I thought I knew EZCA, but I didn't. Great video. Now ... I have yet to figure out World View, and I'm guessing that's how everyone gets those great video scenes. Any chance of a tiny video on World View?
Thank you for these. How do I disable the pan function of the hats though, so I can assign EZOK view positions by hat degrees? It seems to pan even if I disable it in FSX.
I needed to see something like this vid to make my mind up on using it, so I'll give it a go, one question though, if you re assign number pad keys, which do you use for reverse thrust on landing if 3 can't be used?
Would you use Accu Feel together with EZDOC? Which products' dynamic effects would you rate higher? Also, if you select "float" in aircraft menu, can you float around outside the aircraft and in the viscinity?
Thank you for the video. I saw your FS Crew video yesterday, then purchased Ezdok, spent 5 hours trying to get exdok to work. Found your video on you tube, within 4 minutes bingo... thanks again
I've been thinking of getting EZDOC for a while now. Thanks for posting these clear instructions.
Great video. Whenever i tried to set it up, all i got was a headache. Thanks so much for taking the time to show us how it's done. Great stuff.
Again, a genuine "FROOGLE". Concise information embedded in casual format! Thanks and cheers. Hoping for more to come!
You make so much easier to set up rather than me reading and drawing a "Huh?" blank look and auguring in! I really appreciate your efforts and dedication to helping us older and "what does this button do?" fly by trial pilots!
Great big like!! :)
Since watching your channel I've been trying to incorporate more into my sim-world as you have been using. Another great vid and product..
I've been flight simming since the green screen days and have recently purchased the PMDG737NGX. Found your uploads by mistake but so pleased that I did. Love the quality of the video, the information given and a nice touch of humour. Great job, keep it up. Subscribed.
This made complete sense for me as I deny myself the pleasure of reading manuals. Thank-you
Great reference video as i only had ezdok half set up all this time. Your a huge asset to the flight sim community froggle thanks.
EZDOK is absolutely the best addon for FSX. I feel like I can finally learn how to fly the planes without the hassle of moving around the cockpit with clunky controls. IMO best explanation so far. Very concise and to the point, the way it should be done. You should do an advanced EZdok vid.
I finally decided to get EZDOK and using it on the PMDG 737NGX. This video was very helpful. thank you.
Froogle we need to fly a route!! Thank you mate you have tought me so much ive watched every one of your vids fantastic teacher many thanks ;)
Great video, I love the way you explain things, very clearer and straight to the point. Thanks for taking the time to help people.
That was the simplest explanation I've seen. Thanks!
You're welcome. It's a pretty powerful combination when you get it all working together properly.
thanks for sharing. this is the most clear tutorial I've seen
I think maybe the best (in form of simple) explaining of EZ DOK. Thanks a lot! For sure, with this video you made my descision to buy!
+Martina Makosch Gonna buy it too !
Thanks to this video now I know how to use the Ezdoc camera, excelent video in how to use this add on,this made it all easy, thanks.
Thanks for this tutorial, after a while trying, this video finaly covered the main aspects in a effective way, all set to fly now.
AMAZING video... A million thanks froogle from Jordan!!!
Big fan of your work...
Just brilliant. Made setup so much easier. Well done.
Thanks Mark, glad you found the videos useful.
Very nice piece of software. After hearing you mention it today at FlightSimCon, I'm definitely gonna pick this one up.
Hi Froogle, This is the best vidio on Ezdok I have ever seen...it has helped me to configure my PMDG 737-800....fantasic..thank`s
Regard`s Brian.
Froogle, master of tutorials.
Brilliant instructional video - thanks Froogle!
thank you froogle because there were many other unhelpful videos out there
Hey its just a cool addon. Could you tell me how we can look from the beginning of the runway? Looking to flying airplanes overhead? Please tell me I ve liked it. Please send me a message back
Great vid, clearly explained. Everything went with examples. Thank you, Sir!
Phew!! A bit too quick for me. I have been perplexed by EZDOK for a few years and still haven't cracked it. |I'll need to run this five times to keep up with you. But a great clear speaking voice. Thanks.
Great video, extremely informative, and gives us a very good idea of how to use it, and what the features are. I loved your wingtip view!
+biggy5567 Thanks- glad you found it useful
Thank you very much, this was the best one I have ever seen.

Very nice video. I´m now practice this cam setup in my FSX now. Thanks for sharing. Greetings from Brasil. Gilberto Mendes,
+Gilberto Freitas Good luck!
Yea after about 2 hours i managed to get it running perfectly thanks a lot ! and its really one of the best add-ons
Awesome tutorial! Thanks a lot. Can't wait to get my sim working like this...
Thank's for your fantastic tutorials you drive me in to deep simulation.Great job!!!!Go on man :)
Thanks a Million Excellent Infomercial. My Eyes were Open and The Dummy has Awaken. You Make It Look So Easy and User Friendly. Thanks Again..Must be exhausting for You...But Keep Up The Good News/Work....
Thank you so much! This makes EZdok easy to set up.

At 10:31 it looks like some massive plane out of a movie, the shadow, (which is actually a river), makes it so much better, damn that's awesome.
Loverly... I learned a good bit, even having EZDOK's EZCA for a while now...but you forgot to tell us to SAVE!
I can't move around with the mouse don't know why..When I press the middle button I hear the sound but can't move..and if I try to press space and move around I can look around but it set itself back.so I can't set my views

Helped me loads , I have subbed you and all your videos are brilliant , keep the good videos up :)
Amazing Man well explained hope you pst some advance level tutorials sir
Thank you sir. Guess what!? The World views are the one part of the app I struggle with. I'll have to dig in and see what can be done.
When setting up the cameras, click on the PtP button for each camera. This makes them "Point to Point" cameras that will animate when changed.
How cool is that! Although it looks a bit involved and complicated but do-able.
Aircraft cameras are external cameras locked to the aircraft's current position. They are great for setting up view cameras while you fly. The world cameras are free form and can be placed anywhere, good for cinematic flyby's etc. I don't have much luck with them personally

Great video Sir it helped me out a lot. One thing though I can not get the camera resonance to work on my wing tip view? Any ideas
Thank you so much! Finally my EZdok settings are great!
Thanks froogle your a legend. Will give ez another go now :)
Thankyou for your reply.Really enjoy your vids
I don't recall the specific version. I currently run whatever version is current from EZDok.
Pete,
Thank you for the great video!
If you put FSX into windowed mode you can just drag the window borders to resize it just like any other application.
Thanks Froog... very helpful...
Edit mode is number pad 2. If that's not working then make sure num lock is on. If that doesn't work then you may have rebound the key. If that doesn't work I would reach out to EzDok's technical support.
Im getting there slowly. Notice how subdued the narration is in the latest Airbus vid.
I use Fraps for video and sound, Audacity for my voice. Fraps is set to dump out to two SSD's in Raid 0 to reduce the frame rate hit.
Really cool explanation. Thanks
Thanks man! This video really helped :)
You can bind joystick hats to camera movement if you wish.
@7700Purplexity to put it simply you just need to move the aircraft to where you want the view (slew mode helps), right click and add the view then restart fsx and you have a movable view there :)
Amazing tutorial, thanks!
Make sure you unassign ALL view keys in FSX. It's a royal pain in the rear, but necessary.
Cheers. I have them on my extensive wishlist! Because EZDock has the aircraft dynamic effects built in, I was wondering if Accufeel was worth buying?
what a brilliant product. Does it work in other simulations or just in fltsim?
Glad you liked it.
Hi Froogle. great tutorial. May I ask what program you are using to record your computer screen and your voice while flying simultaneously? If is FRAPS? If so, how do you do it without the dramatic drop in frame rates?
I like the scenary below the plan....

Finally someone with brain.
Thanks m8 :)

Can you do a video where you set up an locked canera at the beginning of the runway "spotting view" so that planes fly above you and you see the landing from behind...?
I set up a and shift a to cycle the views, then unbound them in the sim. It's in the ezdoc options menus.
ty for this video i needed help using my EZdok!
If you have read the manual and done everything it recommends in terms of keybindings etc , then all I can suggest is you hit their support forums. It's a tricky piece of software to get to grips with, hence the video, but it's certainly not a POS.
finally know how to setup EZCA! thanks!
Hi Pete will you be doing any more tutorials for Ezdoc that cover world cameras???
I use FSUIPC and bind reverses to the a switch on each throttle. I think you can use F2 as well.
Oh Gawd. You should do a start-up and take off video for this aircraft.
Thanks Froogle. 'Great help !!!
Thank you for these. How do I disable the pan function of the hats though, so I can assign EZOK view positions by hat degrees? It seems to pan even if I disable it in FSX.

hello..great vid, very helpfull..i was wandering though, how can i cycle through the ezca cameras that i created and not through the default cams?
Please watch the video again very very closely. You need to Unbind the default view keys in FSX - ALl of them.
Very Helpful man thank u.. But I have a problem about it.. I cant move or rotate the ezdok cam when enabled by mouse or numpad..
I would double check that you have 'a' set up to change the view in ezdoc, and also that a is not bound within FSX.
Would you use Accu Feel together with EZDOC? Which products' dynamic effects would you rate higher? Also, if you select "float" in aircraft menu, can you float around outside the aircraft and in the viscinity?
