Thank you for all of these vids. I've had pvcs for three years now. I'm now 25. 90% of the time I get them during my rest, and they fluctuate. I've seen a ton of cardiologists, and it's always the same thing. Dr. Sanjay Gupta, a York cardiologist, and I spoke. He claimed it was typical, but I find it difficult to adjust. I worry all the time. I am living one of the healthiest lifestyles ever right now. I don't use alcohol, consume whole foods, go without coffee, and work out every day. I've balanced all of my electrolytes, taken magnesium, and I still can't get them to go away. It is quite annoying. It varies from every second beat to every fifth, sixth, and so on. Even though time flies, I believe I will never identify the origin of palpitations and a remedy. My ECG, stress test, echocardiogram, and blood tests were all negative, and my heart is structurally healthy. Nothing, just pvcs on holter, which are typical in a cardiologist's sense but highly unsettling to me. Can you recommend something else for me to try? I'm not interested in having my pvcs removed with ablation because my daily maximum is estimated to be between 3000 and 4000. The biggest mystery is that they entirely vanish after 10 days. And they come back, for instance, after 20 days. and always in this manner...
Thank you for sharing your experience as well! We have VERY similar experiences with PVCs from what you've said. I get all of mine while at rest, I've seen 2 cardiologists and all they can do is either prescribe a beta blocker or an ablation and tell me to just ignore it and ill be fine. I've had all the same tests and like you, I live a very healthy lifestyle (work out everyday, no alcohol, healthy diet etc) I experience the same kind of beat frequency as well, I will get 1 every 3 and then 1 every 5 and then sometimes 1 every 10-15. I am more in the 10-20K a day range, however. Interesting that yours will vanish for days but then come back. I have not experienced that, at least not yet, but I would actually be relieved! I could use at least a little break...I unfortunately have gotten them everyday for the past 7 months. You seem to have tried most things that I have as well, the only other thing I can recommend is maybe talk to a therapist? perhaps you have anxiety without really knowing it? That is definitely on my to do list. I will be putting out a video of my PVC mitigation daily routine just to show everyone what I do to try and help stop them, none of the steps seem to be a fix for me BUT it may help others so I want to put it out there so all the steps I do are in one quick video. Hope to hear from you again and know that you aren't alone!
@@gwheel3502It is very hard when you have them, and at some point they are gone, and after that all of sudden, they start to appear (for example, I am okay for 30 days, and after that 10 days of ectopics, and again in circle). From a logical standpoint, it would appear that I have a trigger for them; it may be a food or a certain action I take in my life, but I am unaware of it. It could be idiopathic, but it is certainly unpleasant. As you said in one of your videos, I may advise you to take Q10 and magnesium citrate. That undoubtedly has the potential to be helpful. I currently use magnesium taurate, however I think citrate was better for me; give it a shot. You can send me voice message on whatsapp, and I will send you, for more advices. Hello, It sounds like your symptoms are mirroring mine. I'm 52 years old, normal weight, good blood pressure, healthy diet and walk 4 miles a day. I've had PVCs since around age 40 but the last 2 years they've gotten far more frequent. I estimate I get probably 10k to 20k a day. Every so often I'll have an episode of tachycardia which I think is triggered by a run of PVCs. Honestly, these freak me out more than my PVCs. I've been to the ER several times because of the tachycardia. I had an echo done last year and everything was fine. My Cardiologist said not to worry about them but I'm sure as you know, that is very difficult to do. I'm always trying new things to try and mitigate them but haven't had much success. I take magnesium, and potassium but they don't seem very effective. I tried a beta blocker but it just made me extremely sleepy and had no measurable effect on my PVCs. It's not easy living with these things. I'm sorry you deal with these too, but somehow it's nice to know I'm not alone. I hope you can find some relief.
Hey there, Ectopic beats are usually skipped beats with a following thud, but do you ever get missed beats with no thud, and instead of the thud get a “normal” strength beat with squeezing sensation above your heart, making you want to inhale heavily and/or the sense that the decreased blood flow to your brain is going to make you pass out? A lot of people find the thud to be very disturbing but for me it’s the much smaller beats that feel sinister. I can’t help but think that one of these days the volume of blood will be so little that I may actually either faint or worse have a stroke. I also discovered that if I don’t force myself to inhale deeply right before an expected “thud” I’m likely to get a run of sinus tachycardia or even Svt lasting anywhere from a few seconds to an hour, bpm ranging from 100-180 apparently. If you or anyone reading the comments have experienced the above, it would be very comforting to know that my symptoms aren’t unique. I’ve scoured the web for personal pvc experiences and it seems no one’s felt the same.
I’ve not experienced what are but I am familiar with the lack of blood in the heart worry, its a common one for sure. Have you talked to your cardiologist about this? Have you had all the normal EKG, Holter, Echocardiogram tests done? If not highly advise that is where you start. The Reddit forum “PVCs” is more frequented with comments and other peoples experiences, I would recommend reading some over there or posting a comment. There is a UK cardiologist on there that comments frequently and who is a fellow PVC sufferer but provides good info. Others may chime in with similar experience that will help ease your mind. You have to take some of the posts with a grain of salt as it can be a bit negative at times. All the best to you, happy to chat more if you’d like as well!
@@gwheel3502 Yes, I’ve been perusing through Reddit, few mentions of something remotely similar but not enough to reassure me. I’ve had EKG, echos, and an X-ray done and all have come back normal. Blood tests show no troponin. Heart is structurally normal so they say it’s strong enough to withstand the pvc’s but man when those beats happen, I question my hearts ability to withstand it. What’s funny is when I last went in to see a specialist, I was given a different time to come in vs the actual scheduled time, so I ended up being 15 mins late, which meant they had to skip the stress test. But I’ve been jogging here and there this whole time and have been fine so far. Do you get ectopic beats during your run? I know that a lot of people get a few during recovery time. How many would you say you get during your run and while recovering?
@@c.nobles1248 Glad you’ve had all the core tests done, I totally get your worry and am so sorry you have to go through these things. They create such health anxiety which in turn makes them worse. If you can afford it have you thought about an online appointment with Dr Gupta from RUclips? His videos and I know just talking to him can give a lot of reassurance. Glad to hear you are jogging, I think that is super important just for overall health (although I have been lacking in this cold weather, need to do it more). I never got any during jogging or during recovery, they would come back a few hours later so only gave me a slight relief. I found a ton of relief in late September randomly by starting to drink emergen-c everyday, not sure if its the electrolytes or the other vitamins in it that is helping but have gone from 10K ectopics a day to less than 1K.
@@gwheel3502 dr. Gupta is booked up for a few months. I may end up taking the next open slot. I just hope things remain stable until then. I only jogged and did pull ups occasionally though. Have you tried magnesium at all? I know that helps a lot of folks, any stomache issues or anxiety issues? I’m of the thought process to try anything that has helped someone as long as its harmless (cold showers, magnesium, breathing exercises, seeing a therapist etc)
