Hallelujah! I've recently been struggling with my walk in Christ: I'm a very theoretical guy, the "know-it-all" type of person who remembers a lot of things.
I had realized that my knowledge had been empty and vain in itself, and that I had been missing some of the relational side of the faith.
The true gospel doesn't require a master's degree to be understood, after all the Bible does say about the true way that not even the dumbest one will get lost on the path. (Not a direct quote)
While watching the video, God opened my heart in some way, that is extremely difficult for me to describe, to receive the truth about the relational side, and to believe it fully.
May He be glorified forever and ever, for He truly is worthy of all our praise. Amen.

Helen----GOD was not, "BORN." HE was NEVER a, "CHILD." And GOD
was NEVER, "Given." It is GOD the FATHER, Who "GAVE," or, "Brought
Forth" the Christ child. We can call Jesus, "Wonderful," because the
Righteous "Spirit' of the FATHER dwells IN him. And the terms, "Lord,
and God," are used ALL,THROUGH the Old Testament. They do not
always refer to THE GOD----they can refer to those who have 'AUTHOR-
      ITY.'

Lots of preachers talk about what the people want to hear not what they should hear. It’s a big issue in the church as many pastors want as many people to follow them as they can get but they leave out things that are sometimes hard to understand or just hard to swallow and they are vital for our walk with God.

There is no mention of Jesus in the Old Testament. It was written long before he was born. The authors of the New Testament, written between 70 and 100 CE, long after Jesus died, were, of course, well acquainted with the “prophecies” and simply adjusted their stories to accommodate them.

Thank you Mike as a fellow brother in the Lord all the way from New Zealand I have enjoyed greatly all the riches of the scripture you share. I love the exposition. I shall eagerly follow all the other scriptures that foreshadow Jesus. That's what people so misunderstand about the law of God all the sacrifices are a foreshadow of what Jesus would be and do. He is the perfect lamb without spot and blemish. God bless you and your family as you continually walk in the will of God.

I just read Proverbs 30 a few days ago and as I read the passage I had the same conclusion you had Mike. My study Bible says that it’s not referencing Jesus but that the purpose of the words are to say to mere human (whether father or son) has done these things.
I could see where that could fit but but verse 4 seems SO specific to Jesus that I came up with the same conclusion as you! Thank you for all your ministry Pastor Mike!

I didn’t feel lead to jump into a new book just for the sake of it, I like to be lead in those directions. This week I will share this prophesy with the youth, thanks for giving me a new notch on the belt!
