I started my car after driving it for 15 minutes to a store and all the dashboard lights came on and were cycling through the warning messages. I could shift the car into reverse and drive but the steering wheel would not turn. After calling AAA and testing the battery I had the car towed to the dealership. They originally diagnosed it as a rodent problem chewing through wires under the hood. Eventually the issue was solved with replacing the fuse for the power steering. I have a handicap placard that I hang from the rearview mirror. The technician said that hanging the placard caused a wire that connects from the rearview camera to the windshield to come loose. I'm not sure why such an important wire isn't more protected. They also couldn't offer a solution to where I am supposed to hang the placard. But there is nothing in the manual that states this so it was covered under the warranty.

When that first happened, after waiting for about 5 minutes all the waring disappeared so I made 10 minutes drive back to home. I thought the cold weather caused this issue. However, next day same thing happened. After waiting like 5 minutes, all the warning gone without steering control issue so I headed to dealer shop to get check up. They said it was only battery out of normal range.. some of my friends who work as a mechanic told me most likely it would be software problem,but, according to Honda technician software was fine..I’m still not quite understand why battery ran out so quickly as my like is brand new car passed less than 10 months from released.Anyhow, They didn’t charge me at all and I’m pretty traumatized because of what happened to me. Seeing brake problem sign is scary. Anyway,,,It’s been three days since I got my car fixed.So far, it looks normal..I will keep posted for those who will be on the same page like me.
Just happened to to to my wife car. She left her car on auxiliary overnight..jumped car...all faults were on...i checked the autinater was good..she drove around the block..the faults reset back to normal 😊
I encountered a similar issue with my HRV-2016. It turned out that the transmission assembly needed to be replaced. As a result, multiple caution lights illuminated on the dashboard, and I found myself unable to exceed a speed of 40 miles per hour.
Same here. Changed my mirror on my driver side, then had to jump car because it died. Then all the lights came on and it won’t move.. wonderful. One problem solved and another one comes crashing in on me.
Just go for a diagnosis test... It is apparent that the sensor of this car are so intertwined that any small code generates all alarms. I got a similar issue with my hrv/ vezel when I had a low battery. All alarms on. The next time I got it again it thought it was the battery as usual but when I did a diagnosis... I found it was a misfire , wornout plugs.... Moral of the story it's not one problem fits all just get a plain diagnosis and repair the car...hope this will save you a lot of DIY issues and ruin your car

It went away on it's own after driving about 5 miles. No rhyme or reason. Other people have had issues after draining the battery. Unfortunately, since this issue went away without doing anything and it hasn't reoccurred, there's no advice that I can provide other than drive around for awhile...maybe turn it off/on a few times while out and about.
Mines just came on 2020 Civic Hatchback sport touring 17k miles when it 1st came on the car was struggling to start then after awhile it started up but all the warning was still on the dash so i just drove it to the dealership bout a 20min drive lights didn't go away so i gave em the key, gotta wait to hear from them.

My problem ended up being the battery (and none of the lights pertained to a battery issue) ... check your battery before taking it up to the dealership!!!
We drove to the dealer. On the way most of the warning lights went away. Dealer said there was one code remaining in the system, I think braking, which they cleared. Essentially, there was no issue except for the software and one stuck code that needed to be cleared. You can do this by going to an auto parts store and borrowing their OBD device or taking it to the dealer.
All warning lights show up like a christmas tree: abs problem, lane departure problem, vsa problem, brake problem, hill assist problem, etc and so on. This happens mainly for two reasons: 1- battery was disconnected without using a keep alive memory. This means that if battery was replaced with new one, they failed to maintain a certain voltage to keep all preset settings on the car to avoid this Christmas tree of lights. The ECU or PCM needs to maintain all normal parameters with power even when car is off. 2- Battery was already dead. Therefore, car already lost radio codes and preset settings 3- Damage to abs sensors or wires connected to calipers. Solution: After replacing battery and you failed to save memory while replacing it perform a hard restart. That is, disconnect both battery cables, positive and negative then touch them together and hold them for about 15 to 20 seconds. What this is doing is forcing the system in the computer to reset itself. Like resetting a home computer when it freezes and does not respond. After seconds of holding both cables together and touching each other, reconnect positive cable first to positive battery terminal, then negative cable to negative battery terminal. By that time, your car will need to go through several driving cycles in order to reestablish all preset settings back to normal: idle settings, throttle controls, fuel air ratio, etc and also emission and smog check. You may need to drive the car several miles to allow all those lights to disappear completely. 2- Another possibility is the abs sensors are damaged: cut wires, frayed etc. Inspect them with a flashlight if possible. Sometimes one abs sensor damaged can trigger a whole lot of warning lights.
In my case the battery was not changed, nor was it dead (it's quite healthy, in fact). I did try the hard reset and that didn't do anything at first...as you said, they went away after a few miles of driving. Except for one code that needed to be manually cleared.
Okay so I will undo the battery and hold positive and negative together and then hook the battery back up. And do I have to do that whole drive cycle thing like when I failed the emissions test. I had to let car sit 6 hours, idle for a few minutes, step on gas and run at a certain RPm for a certain amount of time then go onto highway and do speed over 50 miles per hour continuously for about 20 miles and then take foot off of gas and brake and let car coast to a stop and then drive around locally for about 10 minutes. I passed the emissions after that run around. Is it the same procedure to reset my vehicle again?

My 2020 HRV did this tonight. Battery died and was just jump started but all lights are all on now.

Sorry, no. Issue went away on it's own for me. Dealer said they cleared some error codes, but no repair was necesary.
