I really like the pedophile bit. It’s actually relieving. I went through some stuff myself. I could never talk about it though. It wasn’t til a several years in the navy that I started talking to professionals about it. Even then that only started because I ended up in the psyche ward 3 times in a year. So hearing someone actually talk about in-depth like this means wonders to me

Even if you never heard anyone make that comparison. The real kicker to that joke is that the scale of it trivialized the death of 3000 people to a scale of 1. and then a the death of 1500 people to just a half. That joke cuts deep.

I heard the 9/11 comparisons a lot even on the news. I remember in 2021 a bunch of construction workers fell and landed on top of each other and the news said it was a tenth of a 9/11.

I'm VERY concerned about your reactions to his jokes. You are taking his material too seriously. EVERY SINGLE THING he says is the setup to a punch line. And you did not react to those punch lines. AT ALL. Instead you stared in confusion in the absurdity of the setup. I'm 100% positive you didn't get a single joke. You want to be "better every day", learn to laugh. You're lack of reactions or lack of laughter or even just rye eye roll would have been enough. But there wasn't even that. Very concerning. Can't wait to watch part 2.
Everyone processes humor differently. I could fake laugh like other reactors, but I'd rather be genuine.
