- KAL tools were not very common and were only average quality and this unit shows that with a couple of issues with the detent and handle retention bearings but otherwise is a decent unit.
KAL #1285
Hello again Catus Maximus and Tiny
Thank you for another Great Video. My friend thank you for pointing out how useful a tool this could be. 👍
I have a couple of these in 3/8" and one in 1/4". Despite working on a lot of motorcycles (where T handles are common) I am yet to use any of them. One I have had since the early 90s. Kind of cool, though!
I have a set of Kal nut drivers from Japan. Bought many years ago from fishers auto parts.
i love these small 3/8 t handles and breaker bars.. i use them as much as i can more than ratchet sometimes if im not in a hurry. make me feel better when work on stuff..lololol.. if that make sence...like being one with the tool..lololol...plus i can feel whats going on better when if loose or tighting bolts. speacia;y in aluminium
KAL USA was a brand issued in some US govt tool sets. I got a socket set with one of these and the speed wrench you reviewed. They're OK but not exceptional in any way.
i have an identical one. looks spot on....but its a MasterCraft Pro made in Tiawain with cursive writng
We had a lot of KAL tools in the USAF, I never saw any marked USA. I think ours were from Korea. They were pure CRAP. The torque wrenches were even worse. I was in the calibration laboratory I condemned every one of these I got my hands on.
