There are some ending boards in which you leave 2 lvl 12 bosses + 2 lvl 10 bosses OR 1 rank 8 Hope Dragon + magic field + 1-2 traps (the new monster and field search for trap/spell, awesome). GB new boss kind of borrowed same mechanic from Ice barrier boss Lancea, but without the float effect. You can actually try grass greener and a 50+deck size for GB. The links are pretty open to any monster as link material, as long one of them are GB. Then do your search from deck, make any efforts to send cards from deck to grave, SS the boss. In other hand, you will not put any tribigade main deck monster, unfortunely. The archtype work very gently with Rescue archtype, fusion support cards... you name it. Dont forget, GB now can use of GY for SS from the extra with the new boss. 5 material seems too much, but actually, during your combo, there will be and can be many materials to summon 1 boss without the Editor's effect. Saying that, lets play IB, i mean-- GB.
Look, if you hear one riddle about ice barrier gameplay putting in the first turn 3 bosses, all being synchros and water--- You would guess: its the dragon trio of IB or the tiger of IB, right? But when you hear the sentence, "---- and all the water synchros are lvl 10 and doesnt share Ice barrier in their names" Say what? Soverign, Lance and Aerigine Ram icejade. None interact with monsters so you cannot SS speaker, georgios, wayne, prior of the ice barrier... those arent ice barrier bosses. Is this fine for a rogue deck?
@@MiscGaming08 i agree. those monsters still feed into the pseudo-stun style of Ice Barriers and are water monsters themselves why rob a rogue deck of playables? i am an IB player myself haha
Mamma Mia! I knew about the new cards, but forgot to read the most important part as usual. None of these fusions have a hard once per turn. It’s so easy to make a deck like this spiral out of control with the right support.
We probably still die to a couple interactions even one with a bad hand, we just probably brick less and make much more impressive boards of left unchecked. Still a casual deck for kitchen table, but im still happy we got playable stuff ( normal summon starter to bait ash when)
1:48 sorry, why I can‘t use Tamers as material? The summon condition says 5 „Gladiator Beast“ monsters. And Tamers have „Gladiator Beast“ ln his name.. so I‘m confused😮
I think I actually like rescue cat more than test bear. Cat draws hand traps at less of a downside. The dai engine also feels clunky, if your normal summoning a glad something like kashtira may be better
It's at least nice that Glad Beasts can do some cool stuff now, like actually searching their Counter Trap. Probably won't be busted but everyone just whines about busted things until they get banned and the deck becomes unplayable again.
Nice. Another deck that just creates ridiculous end boards for which you need non engine to play through. Very good gameplay, I love comparing opening hands and winning dice rolls
That's sad GB was a battle phase archetype and now it just became a negate spam combo deck and someone would say that the mechanic is outdated but tenpai exists and tenpai is what gb should have been
Yeah, problem is realizing what they already have and what that would mean if you gave them the Tenpai field spell but for GBs I'm satisfied, but I didn't even think to try using Primite alongside them
They need a Link 1 that requires any GB monster as material, regardless of it being a fusion or a link or an effect monster, and its effect should just be to special summon a GB monster from the Deck or add a GB card from deck to hand.
@@Lithium2300 I meant later, not immediately upon droplet activation. Even if its effects are negated it can still “banish until the ep” as cost in order to dodge a removal effect later
I would use the effect to gain a second BP to attack into a Yubel + Nightmare pain with all my monsters twice to game myself with like.. I don't know.. 36K damage to my own LP or something crazy like that hahaha It would be so funny to me. XD
With the way the game is now I highly doubt the deck will make it far in tournaments. (how tiering is based off of) However with the new support its now a casual, functional deck thats been brought up to 2024 standards. If you enjoy the archetype and its playstyle youll have fun with it, regardless of any tiering placements. A good deck for simulators like Edopro to be sure.
@@johnnywilson3071 Really just the point of Glad combos need 2-3 cards to really go off. That means that you spend more resources on engine and less resources on handtrapping, which is at an all time high. Meanwhile Orcusts w/ new support fits more along the meta of 1 starter 4 handtraps, so im inclined to put Orcusts higher than glads. Orcusts however gets hit hard by Fuwaross, Shifter, and to an extent, Nib, so I couldnt put Orcusts too high.... but yea that new support is great. Glads also get hit by Fuwaross hard too so thats more resource gain for the opponent.
I wonder, if the GB deck is limited to this point, of being locked into one ash. There are many searchers, i highly doubt one Ash would be suficient. Even against rogues like Ice barrier, very dependant into Revealer, its hands can help to make progress with other SS summon and searchers. But if one ash is suficient to you end your turn, i highly disagree, its not brutal, its critical for nowadays standards of decks.
the centurion player played horribly. why would you turn off your own trap card as well as not use blazar. even if blazar is negated it banishes itself for cost meaning it would come back during ep as fun as gb is i dont see this deck putting up results even with the new support
what a beautiful day to be a glad beast player

As a huge GB fan, I've always said that GB needed some better swarming and they'd be able to set up some strong boards. Glad to see it's true!

simple to understand combo which is looping the fusion spam.

Yep. Becoming a negate spam combo deck is the only way to make a deck “good.” these days. Glad Beast their identity that made that special.
Tbf, they already had access to the monster eff negate and the spell/trap negate but now they can spam it a lot easier
it was a floodgate deck + some BP elements, technically, during their tier 0 prime days.

someone knows what cards are getting reprinted?
Guess I’ll be playing yugioh in 2025 after a 6-7 years skip lol
MTG called. They want their mechanic back. Gladiators told them to F off.
If u play only two field spell (the same) why u play TF and not the third field
Search to thin deck and target for droplet
