Hi, This Polish outstanding singer is Zdzisława Sośnicka. It's worth noting that this was a 100% live performance without playback or semi playback support. Not many people even in Poland know that this is a musician associated with classical, theatrical and jazz music. In addition to performing popular music, she has conducted symphony orchestras and, as a composer, has written many musical themes for hundreds of theatrical productions. This is a prominent figure in music who gained popularity with outstanding performances in pop music in Poland of the 60s, 70s and 80s. She successfully combined the world of classical music with popular music.🙂🖖.
If she would be born in western world she would be same famous like Whitney Houston. She is still amazing
This is the irony: in the 80s, we had a lot of great music - but pretty much everything else in the country was crap.
I heard it tousand times in thousand version and still have gose bump. Voice and music is 1000% well done, better than can be.
This is version from concert or festival, so it's full live without any playbacks or electronic tricks. You can hear the natural vibrating voice and the scale of it. It's late 80's, so the outfit and hair are quite strange, but look on for expml Madonnas clips from that time. Zdzisława Sośnicka is one of the best performers of 70-80's on Polands music stage, her songs were quite different from the main course. I'd compare it to Edith Piaf (she always chose the song she want to sing, but very little number of songs was chosen). Njoy :)

It's one of my favorite songs from the Polish 1980s. I think it could stand in charts today. No auto-tune. This is live and sounds (the voice) even better than on the album (I've still got the cassette). Plus it's got lyrics that can give a run the best of them, but that was generally the case in Polish pop music of 1970's and 1980's - the lyrics were written by prosfessional poets and lyricist, and the greatest singers worked with the selected few best songwriters.
It's a nice surprise that someone from outside Poland listens to our hits.
