Exciting stuff. Especially without the recovery pace of Van de Ven we can definitely punish them. It's just about mentality Vs citeh, we need to be brave and decisive on the break
Top vid Harv,i actually thought in the Atalanta game it’s the most positional freedom ive seen arteta give the players in a while,in order to move around the M2M press. The execution was just really poor. I don’t believe Oddeagard is a miss for this type of game we’ll play against city,we need to revert back to more of a 4-2 build up rather than a 3-2 I felt at times Last night the midfield was too congested with timber inverted,it was almost a 3 man pivot, timber thrived against spurs with more freedom to roam on the left with overlaps/underlaps. Jorginho also has to start for me,I feel like his pass selection & ability to block passing lanes is a lot better than TP in this current moment,if it was me I would also consider a start for Calafiori but I doubt arteta throws him in,was really impressive in his cameo. I’m going for a tight 1-0 win,COYG!
Thanks mate. It certianly was. Arteta completely threw positional rigidity out of the window-not just in terms of rotations but the actual shapes we formed on the pitch. It was a lot for the players. Just lacking cohesion really. I agree. Back to a more rigid foundation for City. Keep Timber wide or (where possible) in that high pocket-gives us upside where we don’t have it. Loved Cala’s cameos so far. Will do a vid on him soon. Sunday suits us. Let’s see if we can make it stick.
I hope your right, but then again, how will you paper over the cracks when players that should rise to the occasion can`t make the easiest passes without making a meal of it?
I'll answer that for you...we need a player who has unstoppable transitional threat (Sesko) and another player who can release runners in behind (Morgan Gibbs-White as a #10)
I'm very confident for Sunday. We've got players in our defence who can dominate their attack if they're on it. From there, it's all about maximising our transitions. Can get ugly since we are still trying to get rid of Ø's imprint on this team, but the 3 points are there to be taken if we can execute our plan. If there was any game for Martinelli to get his mojo back... This is it.
I’m confident, but I agree the key is making it stick when we swarm forward. The Atalanta game was a really interesting one, and I dare say the consensus would be much rosier if Nelli scored that chance. We did extremely well nullifying the m2m press vs Spurs and Atalanta, but last night lacked the same cohesion on the ball. I expect things to be better on Sunday, but still comes down to making it stick. The game state suits us on Sunday. After that, we will talk about the after👍👍
Great analysis bro, btw I prefer rice in front saliba and Gabriel. Partey play bit more upfront just to give a bit fluidity. Keep it up bro, nice content 👍
Thanks so much. I’d be a bit more fixed in the pivot on Sunday. Mikel will want rice high for second balls. But we just need to pick our moments so TP isn’t overrun.
Thanks so much. It’s more about trying to find an identity without his imprint-in my opinion at least. Right now, the template we have is well equipped stylistically for City. After that, we will get to work on an ARSENAL team without Ø.
Not sure if going long vs dias and guardiol or stones will do it but arsenal may be able to contain their attack, last year away to city was a draw for ex. I still think city win this one. Also, arteta always struggled with rotation and given busy schedule and injuries, could be problematic in upcoming games
Think we are suited for City. We will get onto what to improve with the fixture swing starting next week. Just need to make it stick going forward on Sunday. 🙏
@@harveygrationneed to integrate nwaneri after the city game. I like trossard but hes inaccurate with his foward passing and loses the ball in precarious postions when he drops deeper. They'll be too much on saka's shoulders when it comes to chance creation post city if Arteta doesnt use Nwaneri.

Thank you for the analysis, Harvey! Keep them coming.

Harvey, what should we do to maximize our transition threat?
I'll answer that for you...we need a player who has unstoppable transitional threat (Sesko) and another player who can release runners in behind (Morgan Gibbs-White as a #10)
That dynamic emulates that of Haaland and KDB, that's how Arsenal match City Qualitative wise
@@Nate00774 I mean with our current players, for City
Arsenal can win at etihad this time around 😊City 1 Arsenal 3
So insightful as always
Very kind of you to say.

Great video my brother 🎉🔥❤
❤️❤️
Caliafiori and Jesus
If Harvey Goat-ion isnt worried then im not either!
Wouldn’t say I’m not worried! But there is a game on Sunday that suits us. If we make it stick in our forward moments we have a real chance for all 3.
Great video as always Harvey. I think the Atalanta game was a bit telling on how much we missed Odegaard.
Absolutely
Painful watch
Thanks so much.

No team in the world can beat city at the ethiad currently.
Harvey I noticed in the Atlanta game we were pressing in a 3241 with havertz being the highest man up the pitch what do you think about that
0-0 it means F all 😂
@@masterchief1520 yeah but we are very compact overall. Still , someone like KDB can play it trough the eye of a needle.

Pep talks facts about Arsenal and his respect for them but he knows the media will say he's playing mind game.
@@harveygration unfortunately city is not spurs or atalanta, who are a good team but are 9th in serie a at the moment
1st comment ❤❤❤❤
Does that mean there is a big chance to win over city this weekend? Or is Arteta aiming for a draw
There’s a real chance. I just hope we ‘click’ in transition. If so we’ve got a lot to hold onto this weekend.
Our midfield is so weak right now...Arteta really mess up not adding up more creative midfielders during the window
We need ethan to play in mid Against city
Bad idea you can't start a 17 year old in a game against city when we are challenging for a title
