Just want everyone to know that for the quarantine zoom theory classes I’m taking, I convinced my professor to play this video during one of our jazz lectures. It was excellent.
Jazz is a SIIIIICKNESSS. I'm with you though, original version of "Roar" is either uninspired or merely overplayed, can't decide. This version is unique and mentally stimulating, if nothing else.

I wanted to be bugged, but I was instead brilliantly surprised. For all the pitch correction, it sounded great. Unlike some recordings I have heard that are meant to be real, and the pitch correction was so obvious you want to cry. Especially on Jazz singers records. LOL WELL DONE!

Do you have any sort of lesson on doing this sort of things? Its super good and I love your style of teaching (btw, loved the "no wrong notes vids")

Can someone do their own vocal cover of this? The pitch shifting was done really well in this video, but to hear someone sing it would really make it.
A singer named Tammy Scheffer made a cover on Instagram a while ago, it was really good. She even sang it harmonized with a friend.
