Hello Folks! Here's a Then & Now showing some historic homes of Ontario California. The earlier pictures were taken in 1983 and 84. Thank you for watching!
New subscriber here. I'm loving all of these videos you do! Great information on every single video you do. I just keep watching more and more, I just find each video so intriguing. Keep them coming!
Jerry thank you for all of these videos. I don't know how you're able to do all your research, but I have been watching these video for some time now. Move back from NorCal to be back home and watching your videos give me even more love for the inland empire. Hope to move to Upland at some time. Thanks
0:46 The Drew home (owners of Drew Carriage Co. an old business in town) 0:54. The couple that owned this home introduced my mother to my father. We later lived on Harvard Place. 1:03 The Crawford home. 1:13 The Cox home. You missed the Ballou home.
Hey Jerry I got a question for you. Last week I was at the Mariachi concert in downtown. How do you feel about them splitting the concerts between downtown and the new park they built at Ontario Ranch? I was a bit put off by that, I feel like it's not a good thing for downtown, what are your thoughts?
What lovely homes. 1983 is when Ontario Historical inventoried potentially historic properties and districts, yes? Ovitt Library has a Ontario City historical section downstairs: If an Ontario resident of a historic home (1913 representing here) inquires, a clerk will research it and give whatever information is in the files for it. In the historic reference photo our home was painted a dark marigold yellow and our pine trees looked recently planted.
That's cool Jerry! Thanks for taking me back to the 80's.

I grew up in Valinda, and had no idea such beautiful homes were in Ontario! Thanks for sharing.
This area has really been up kept well. Beautiful homes.
I remember a few of those. Nice to see they have been cared for.

I lived at 714 E. Princeton in 1960-62. My parents paid $8000 for it. It had a pool.
