I've been really pleased with the performance thus far. The CC02 is a good platform but it suffers from a lack of aftermarket support. I think you'd be quite pleased with the TWS out of the box. I recommend a Hobbywing 1080 ESC, and a 27t 540 motor like a holmes hobbies Trailmaster.
I have a real sidekick and I'm gonna build a clone of my own! These things are so sweet.
