You know how Ryu attacks differently depending on how long you press the button? It's kinda like that. They could have made it so say a short press is a punch and a long press is a kick. It just feels more fitting, in my opinion.

I think its hilarious how for new smash reveals, the youtube vid of the song most prominently featured in the trailer will have a ton of new comments about the character being in smash, such as videos for One Winged Angel having a shit ton of Sephiroth in Smash comments, but this video doesn't seem like it has as many of those types of comments as those other videos
