    What a good soul. His first thought, after that scary first encounter, is to start gifting! Wish more of us had that mindset (or heartset). Anyway, Jack is a pleasure to listen to. That interview really made my night. Thanks so much for sharing it!

    I believe you, Jack. We live about an hour from you. I have multiple stills on my game cams of orbs, bright white like stars. One is a beautiful pink, right in front of the game cam. Just incredible pics. And one day, I was talking to my husband that I had heard that if you see orbs or ufo’s, you will likely have Bigfoot close by. While I was telling him this, we both distinctly heard heavy bipedal footsteps behind us. The thing is, my husband is a retired biologist and has (or had) a hard time believing this stuff. So I wasn’t going to mention the footsteps, thinking that maybe I was imagining the sound, or possibly manifesting the experience. But he jumped up from his chair and said, “What was that?”. We ran to the sound, and of course there was nothing. He’s convinced now, and frankly spooked. I’m enthralled. 😊

This bigfoot phenomenon just totally rearranges what this retired scientist/lifelong hunter-fisher-woodsman ever thought he knew about science and the outdoors. I can not only handle this "rearrangement", but also humbly accept that there's far more to the world than most people ever thought possible. AFOB: Keep bringing us the education! @@northmanskeep5996 Very briefly: Black bigfoot. High noon. Sunny springtime day. May 19, 2021 on a 60-degree steep Appalachian mountainside in east Kentucky. 50 yards away, leaning out from behind a large oak trunk. I watched it for a solid 90 seconds thru my 8x Leica binocs, virtually counting its hairs. It swayed back and forth -- 2 inches left, 2 inches right -- the entire minute and a half.

    I didn't know what it was. My grandmother would never say. I ask her often what it was. Dogs wailed and cried and barked hiding under the house. Sometimes She would tell me in the morning that it was Old Thump.
    I just remembered this as I listened to you. I thought she was joking.
    So much happened there but as a child I didn't realize I never put it all together. It's taken my lifetime to understand just a small bit. Listening to others experiences has brought forth so many memories. The one I saw that I can remember did not have red eyes.

      I would imagine human waste is as foul to animals as any of their waste is to us, including dog and cat who also eat many of the same chemicals etc, which we do, and which I imagine are what make our waste smell so foul to them. That said; most animals do not react to odor the way human beings do. I've heard that for instance dogs when they "smell" something it isn't like for us, where we can have one scent covered by a stronger scent. Instead dogs smell the way we see. In other words you cannot hide an odor from a dog. That old myth about coffee grounds being used to hide cocaine won't work in most cases. The dogs would spot it immediately because they "see" smells. The stronger odor is the odor closest to you so you will see it first, but you will see everything behind it also. So I agree it is funny they would have a "moment" due to the odor of anything. I would have guessed they would react the same as a dog.
      On a side note: I don't mean to step on toes about the whole paranormal approach but if it is true they hunt deer at night which I happen to agree, then it is likely they rely on scent on at least some level of dependence because no matter how good your night vision is: because of the fact that all night vision relies on there being some light (exception being radar like bats use, which isn't actually night vision) : that there are going to be pockets of darkness where they probably have to rely on scent to zero in on their prey. Just a theory. But if correct then it is difficult they have a sense of smell which they react to the way we humans do. It just seems like it would be a much more efficient way to follow scent if it was done the way dogs have: where they "see" the odors rather than are offended by them, so to speak.

    I have always been very in tune with things that are “paranormal” since I was a small child. Had numerous experiences of different kinds but in my early 20’s I had a cousin go missing. I live in the Adirondacks of Upstate NY. My younger sister and I were driving around looking for him. It was pretty late at night and we decided to go about 10 mins outside of town on back roads and circle back around and come back to town from the other side. We were out near Fish Creek Campgrounds and the only car on the road at the time. I am so glad that she was with me because I know people would not have believed me had I not had a witness. We were driving somewhat slow looking on the sides of the road and all of the sudden this giant flash/ball of light (almost neon green and white) shot out of the woods. We were in a Jeep Grand Cherokee, and it went straight across in front of us about 8-10 ft off the road and disappeared into the woods on the other side. It was like time stopped. I honestly have no clue how much time passed. We were both shocked and a bit speechless. We were both asking “Did you see that!?!” Of course I was convinced it was a sign of where my cousin might be but he was found deceased months later no where near where this happened. It was something that has obviously stuck with both of us and the story/video Jack shared gave me chills as it was so extremely similar to what my sister and I experienced. Thank you for sharing your experiences ♥️

    • @rumigirl
      @rumigirl 15 часов назад +3

      There is some nuance to this. It's 100% fine to gift food now and then. The Forest People are smart. They understand that food can be a token of admiration and an expression of goodwill. If you lay out a banquet for them every night feet from your house, on the other hand, there is the possibility that things could get dicey if you miss a night or two or seven. But if you leave them food in the middle of the woods, well away from your house, on a regular (or irregular) basis, you have nothing to worry about. Speaking from 12 years of experience.

The host, Wes, is very good about letting the guests tell their stories without interruptions. I saw something with glowing red eyes in southern NH a few years back . There are no street lights here in southern NH my area anyways sow hen it is dark with no moon out it is DARK. Now at the time I had a dog that hated pretty much everyone so I started taking my dog for his last walk very late at night to avoid the neighbors and getting him upset . Now there is this one are where an old mill use to be and there is a green area that leads from one street to this wooded area and on a pretty major road rte 102. Again at night my town is pretty dead so no cars , no street lights, Now I had a flashlight but I do not keep it on for our walks I just use it when a car is coming to make sure they see us . Going to guess it was about 10pm . Now I make my way to end of the road and head into this forested area that bends into that grassy green area and I see red eyes glowing about 6 ft off the ground . I am about 5.2" tall and these glowing red eyes were about a foot or two taller then . NOw what freaked me out is that it was NOT eye shine since there were no lights and my flashlight was off . I did not want to turn my back on it so I kept walking in the same direction but keeping as far left from it as possible . Got to the main street turned on my flashlight to look in the woods and nothing . My dog did not react and he reacts to pretty much everything unless he is afarid of it like a bear ... we ran into a bear one noight he kept so quiet and by my side hding behind my legs which is very much unlike him

    I have two instances where I may have encountered a shape, shifting Bigfoot in the form of deer. 🦌
    1. the first one I was singing opera very loudly at a park and walking down to a river, which is in a wooded area, early in the early morning. This was a few years ago, and I had no idea there was anything in the woods other than what I could see and I didn’t think the deer would care if I were singing. There were no other people around so I felt comfortable singing loudly. As I approach the river I decided to start singing to the deer who seemed preoccupied grazing at the riverbank. At some point, they suddenly changed their demeanor, and started digging their hoofs in the ground like a raging bull. And they came after me. And I slowly started to leave, but they stalked me and escorted me out of the area. The strange thing was the terror I felt when they changed their demeanor. I’ve had PTSD over it for years. People laugh at me when I tell them but that’s the way I felt. Maybe it’s because deer are so much bigger than I am and maybe it’s just ridiculous. But that’s what happened.

    • @AtSafeDistance
      @AtSafeDistance 12 часов назад

      As one who has no appreciation for opera I cannot help but suggest that perhaps the deer share my taste. :) Sorry Darlin', if I didn't say it I think somebody else would have.

      @@AtSafeDistance lmao 🤣 you, my mom, the deer and maybe the Sasquatch too! I was singing Auroras operatic call to the animals from the old Disney movie Sleeping beauty right before the song “I walked with you once upon a dream”. And I’m obviously no Disney princess. 👸🏻 cuz the animals didn’t come running to eat out of my hand, instead I thought they would stomp me to death. lol. Can laugh about it now.

    2. The second event where I may have come in contact with a Shapeshifting, deer/ Bigfoot was at a friends property that he owns in a heavily wooded neighborhood that he allows me go back in to forage for berries when I’m in the area. It backs up to woods and there are powerlines close by. It’s in a pretty rustic neighborhood but not remote. Homes are on acreage and most back up to state lands or large parcels of wooded private property. There’s lots of wild game there, including turkeys bears and deer. Anyway, I’ve been noticing since I have been delving into the Bigfoot topic lots of sign on his property that they are there. Stacked rocks, tree structures. Lots of structures. He has part of a creek on his property too and nut trees. I always feel a little creeped out there, but it’s also also peaceful. The only place I’ve whistled to birds and they have whistled back. One day I finished looking for berries and mishrooms and couldn’t find anything and went to the corner store to go to the bathroom and get a drink, then came back about an hour before dusk to look again before I left. I always left before dark. I parked my car and was drinking my soda with the window rolled down, parked on the road and out comes a deer which is not unusual for that area. I thought he was going to cross the road. But he just stands there and stares at me. Again, not unusual for the area. And for about 10 minutes he’s just staring at me. I just mind my own business and sit there. He doesn’t move. He just keeps looking at me. Maybe he was expecting that I would eventually leave. Then I started to shuffle my things in preparation to get out of the car and he starts barking !!!!. Yes deer bark. But I had never seen one come up to my car window and start barking! But… That’s what he did.! Maybe that is a normal behavior for a deer, but it seemed like he was telling me to get out. I am no expert on deer behavior. It was very strange. This was after my nearby experience of deer escorting me out of the park after I sang opera to them, so I already had a fear of deer!! And I wasn’t about to get out of the car with a barking deer right in my face so I left. Both these instances were in New Jersey.

      Sorry to repeat this, but I would like to suggest that there's more nuance to this than you might think. It's 100% fine to gift food now and then. The Forest People are smart. They understand that food can be a token of admiration and an expression of goodwill. If you lay out a banquet for them every night feet from your house, on the other hand, there is the possibility that things could get dicey if you miss a night or two or seven. But if you're not doing that, you have absolutely nothing to worry about.
