    I think a one time talk from the champion of Cincinnati Champions Peter Edward would go a long way to the players. Because Peter is a motivator. He was after retirement a great coach/player. As for team leadership Pete needs to meet the new Bengals. I think they would love you Pete just like us.

    They don't want WRs like Boyd because he wasn't at all versitile. Bengals want to move Chase around to create missmatches. Bengals HAD to stick Chase & Higgins on the outside due to Higgins & Boyd being so limited in what they specifically can do.

    I really wish Tee could sit out this year & force Burrow & Chase to truly earn their contracts on their own... without him. Especially with Chase not participating fully while still under contract for 2 more years & making $52M guaranteed in 5 yrs... while Tee has made $5M guaranteed so far and will only make $26M guaranteed in 5 yrs if Tee signs the tag. Which shows Chase's 5th yr option doesn't have the same impact as Tee getting tagged

      I would say we probably upgraded the position if we are trying to replace the 2023 boyd but replacing the 2021 and 2022 boyd might prove to be challenging. Well see. We do have a lot of talent.

  • @bengalsfandom623
    @bengalsfandom623 16 дней назад

    James... love Trenton as a dedicated player but Trenton has shown he replaces Chase & Tee better than Boyd. So stop setting him up. Scheme Irwin open and it works... where is there any data that shows Irwin can excel in the much harder slot position. Irwin couldn't get open in the AFCCG after Boyd got injured by a hip drop tackle. Now if the new staff makes Burrow's preferred offensive less predictable and they scheme the slot open more than imagine what Boyd could've done last year
    Also you should give Gesicki the credit for your hot take bc Mike said that to you... that no one player could replace what Boyd did and they will prob try a committee approach

    Pretty sad that Mike Gesecki has to be the one to give Boyd his props while Bengals media, & influencers STILL can't be trusted to give Boyd his due. Gesicki is getting paid $2.5M but you are trying to hype him up (which is great) while putting down Boyd for getting almost twice that contract (which is lame) and you don't need to put down Boyd to hype up anyone else or you just tell on yourself and what you really think about the new guys
    If you can't say anything positive at this point just leave Boyd alone for the real fans that aren't buying what Emily has you guys selling. Bengals media & influencers & the local sportscaster (Jeremy who I no longer watch that did a hit piece on Boyd) are pushing away fans from staying engaged bc we are sick of all the unbalanced and biased talk about Boyd.... and Tee
    Trey Hendrisckson has only played 67% of snaps in his Bengals career and even less than that with the Saints. Which I'm fine with if that helps Trey perform better at the most important times and I'm also fine with it if that helps Tee perform better in the most important games.
    The other WRs should eat when Tee is out so let Tee heal whenever it's needed bc Tee (like Burrow) pushes himself too much to play through injury which is why Zac won't even let Tee dress bc Tee snuck on the field during 2 division games when Zac was holding Tee out
    Real fans aren't buying the negative narratives and I have enjoyed Marcus Spears, Dan Orlovsky and the Speak panel dialogue more on the Bengals current situations and how they are much more balanced on giving all sides then just hammering negative narratives from Bengals media with all the same negative talking points, pushing the same lame narratives. Bengals media even has me out here agreeing with Keyshawn Johnson (of all ppl lol) which is sad that I can't even enjoy any of my once fav Bengals pods without hearing the same biased and unbalanced bs about Boyd.... and Tee

  • @bengalsfandom623

    If all the expendable WRs have learned anything from Tee's situation then they will play bad on purpose so they can get traded or cut & then go off on a team that will actually pay them or trade them to a team that will pay them bc the Bengals yet again have proven they are misusing the tag when they are the only team that didn't sign or trade their tagged player. And if Tee plays well this season then they will tag again so it's a lose-lose for Tee which really is disgusting to treat Tee that way
    Tee just wants a fair deal like the Pittman deal which was reasonable & should have been done b4 last season. Offering Tee $18M and then never making any other offer is bad business (and Troy Blackburn should be fired) when your business makes the biggest steps forward or back based on the locker room (or was Burrow just spouting more bs)
    If Burrow & Chase take all the money & they fail to ever win a bowl then they deserve each other. And if they only win a bowl bc they used Tee then they didn't deserve to win on the backs of Tee/everyone else while basically stealing money from those they needed to win the bowl. And Burrow will prove his team talk & convincing fans he's a team player is all bs
    Burrow could have signed b4 every QB last year but he wanted to squeeze the Bengals & therefore his teammates for everything while being hurt yet again bc Burrow & his offseason training team mishandled his calf before the injury and then Burrow mishandled his calf after the injury. And Chase could have signed b4 JJettas but just like Burrow, Chase wants teammates to be cut so he can make more
    Should they make more than Mahomes and JJettas. No, JJETTAS is a better route runner while Chase complains about having multiple defenders... what top WR doesn't have 2 or more defenders and cover 2 (Randy Moss expected cover 2 every game)
    Is Burrow better than Goff? Goff has won playoff games with 2 teams that were struggling b4 he got there. Goff, Sewell, ARSB look like they took more team friendly terms on their contracts. And even Bobby Hart is playing better with Goff (disappointing shocker to say the least)
    So Burrow choses Chase over Sewell and creates this whole problem w Tee & made the OL worse at the same time
    Without Chase, Tee could have been similar to AJ but an even better teammate like Ocho was. Tee would be his own star in his own right and WRs like Andre, Charlie, & Burton could have brought the speed threat and the WR room could have truly remained unselfish & more team oriented AND there would be more money to spread to other teammates. Or Burrow, Chase & Tee could have taken just slightly less or better terms so they could all get paid together. This is what Chase has been saying all over national media about JJettas & him taking less... which is what a good teammate/friend would do while Tee is going thru negotiation issues... Chase is such a good teammate/guy/friend 💀
    Tee did everything right so if all the new expendable WRs play well they will get screw over by Burrow & Chase too
    I really wish Tee could sit out this year & force Burrow & Chase to truly earn their contracts on their own... without him. Especially with Chase not participating while still under contract for 2 more years & making $52M guaranteed in 5 yrs... while Tee has made $5M guaranteed so far and will only make $26M guaranteed in 5 yrs if Tee signs the tag. Which shows Chase's 5th yr option doesn't have the same impact as Tee getting tagged

  • @bengalsfandom623
    @bengalsfandom623 16 дней назад +2

    I've been around for all 3 Bengals superbowls and could not be more disappointed in how the Bengals have handled Tee. Btw, I don't respect the way Mulugheta has handled Tee either but Tee is being used in their power struggle & the only person who gets screwed is Tee
    Bengals should have taken the high road & continued negotiations bc they have always had the power bc of the tag so they should act like they know they have the power over Mulugheta & prove it by negotiating in good faith & making it public to show whether Mulugheta is capable of negotiating in good faith with the Bengals (or fire Troy Blackburn for fumbling the whole situation)
    For the fans that say they don't care as long as they win a bowl .... they are just not real fans imo. Because if you only care about winning 1 bowl and then you don't care anymore then you never were a real fan to begin with. Do I want to win a bowl, yes but I would care about the team after the bowl as much as I did before.
    Right now Burrow & Chase need to prove they are worthy of being top paid and carry the team without Tee this year if they don't extend him. Especially since Burrow made fans believe he was a team guy but his actions don't line up with that. Does Burrow talk to Tee more now then he did in the past ...like how Burrow went on a trip with Bates or took Reader to an NBA game. A true teammate & leader would have made & kept that connection from day 1 in 2020
    And ...well... Chase's words & actions have proven he's not a team guy... he's a me guy... so at least he's consistent
    Ocho was a fun diva until he admittedly messed up at the end. AJ was a serious & quiet diva who should've handled Tee better & should've stayed 1 more year for less & played in the super bowl. In retrospect, AJ could've made Chase a little uncomfortable in his quiet diva way lol
    Most fans only care about the team bc of the players (otherwise we would all watch the winning teams of other football leagues just as much if it was ONLY about winning or just switch to being Chiefs fans or whatever current team is winning). Yes I'm loyal to the Bengals but I'll be much less involved if Burrow & Chase are being overpayed while the rest of the players are being screwed. Bengals can take away all the truly invested star players so Chase has no competition as a star on the team but just like Diggs I'll pass on those star divas that bring to much negative distraction around the team
    Randy Moss never won a super bowl even when paired with Brady (on a team friendly deal) so maybe star WR divas aren't all worth the loss of morale & lack of funds for the rest of the team. Esp when you can get a top 15 WR for about $10M less or the top TE/Kelce for $17M or the top RB/McCaffrey for $19M

    T Higgins didn't show up for mini camp. He's not thinking straight. The Bengals are going to win the super bowl with or without him. He could he a part but he decided to hold out. Jermaine Burton is going to beat him out anyway. He definitely will be gone next year. He won't be messed

  • @bengalsfandom623

    Andrew please tell me I'm not hearing you try to say 4.54 is much faster than 4.58.... seriously... and to make it worse those times are from 7 & 9 yrs ago
    Why can't you guys just stop talking about Boyd, esp anything negative. Unless Boyd gives me hard numbers on offers that he received from every team then you have no idea why he chose the Titans and Bengals media is not trusted to give unbiased info on Boyd due to the extremely biased Bengals media & influencers coverage on Boyd since Dec 2022 (yes the coverage about that game was so egregious that I'll never forget that Bengals media made me rewatch that game several times bc I didn't want to believe that so many would blatantly lie and mislead fans and I never viewed Burrow the same after that game where Chase had a pick 6, a fumble and 2 incompletions/drops near/at the goaline and Reader/Bell saved the game on a goalline stand but all Bengals media could talk about for almost TWO WEEKS was 1 supposed mistake that Boyd made while playing in sub temps with a surgically repaired finger. So the game relied on 1 play from WR3 but not on the 4 plays from the superatar WR1 and his superstar QB???!!!???? Oh... and... Burrow made sure everyone knew he was upset with Boyd while Burrow said and did nothing for ANY of Chase's 4 major mistakes (yes, we know Bengals media will blame everyone else but chase). Chase didn't even attempt to use his "speed" to try to run down the pick 6. I've seen Tee & Boyd immediately turn into DBs with Boyd even knocking a ball out of a DBs hands
    Maybe Boyd took the same or less to play for the Titans under Callahan and with Dhop/Ridley in a better offensive system with a better OL coach and on a team closer to his family/daughter (that isn't a mess at QB & WR & OL & offense like Pittsburgh)
    Give me current GPS data if you want to talk about CURRENT on field speed. Haven't we learned by now that football speed is not the same as track speed. Otherwise Charlie Jones, Andrei, and Chase Brown would have played more/targeted more last year when they were available to play bc both Tee & Chase missed time but slower targets like Irwin and Hudson were targeted more by both Burrow & Browning even tho they were "way slower". I'm excited about Andrei, Charlie, Chase Brown so stop playing them against Boyd and let them thrive on their own talents that are different from Boyd (Boyd had other talents they haven't shown) so comparing makes zero sense
